Spent the week basically bedridden as I "recovered" from my flu last week, then proceeded to push myself too far. So I spent a few days taking my time and resting, and voila! I left the house and got RSA done today. It's nice to eat food. I remember that now. But it was nice to sit down and have some fun working on RSA instead of lying in bed. The homelab is all nice and fixed, but I never did get an offer for a stack of Hard Drives. :) Stuff like that is getting ridiculously expensive because of all of the Goddamned AI data centers which create nothing but heat. This weekend I get to play SysAdmin as my homelab (which stores all of my RSA material) had a disk failure in one of my servers. It's all parity protected, but I'm spending a good 20 hours moving data off another disk that I'm kinda suspicious of. If anyone wants to donate a stack of 16TB SATA drives to me, I wouldn't say no at this point. But because I have lost data in the distant past, I've already learned my lesson. But this doesn't directly affect RSA at all, as we've got a great show for everyone. A higher tempo than usual, but the first track I selected was 150 bpm(!), that sets the tone for the rest of the show! Things are more or less back to normal around here, as we prepare for the onset of Winter in Canada. This week I do put some emphasis on what the heck we're going to do about next years membership drive. I'm really looking for your feedback on what you'd like to receive in return for donations. I'm looking at Enamel pins (much like the Sanctuary pins that are on my "battle jacket"). Sadly the patches we did prior to the pandemic are insanely expensive now. If you have one, it's a collectiors item! THis wek we also expanded to 9 songs instead of the usual 8. I apologize for missing last week, but apparently if you're unable to eat solid food for several days the pounds just melt away! I have some work to do on my health, but the work will be done. One thing that I forgot to mention in this weeks show is that this week we have Remembrance Day in the Commonwealth and Veterans day in the USA. Having stood on Tower bridge in London, and the docks in Hamburg I'm just glad that the idea of bombing either city now is such an inconceivable thing. Hamburg was also a significant visit for me because my Grandfather was a part of Operation Gomorrah. The first track is also dedicated to the people at ICE.
