Mid-Semester Start Brainstorming Session

As part of the First Tuesday series, Alison Jameson and Beth Ritter-Guth hosted a discussion about mid-semester start course. Please click the screencast below to view and listen to the notes.

Jim McCarty was kind enough to clarify some of the issues we raised in our discussion:

1. There will be a name change starting Fall 2007. As we discussed in our session, the new name will help prevent confusion.

2. RSS 102 will be the training ground for students and WebCT. Since I am working on that shell, I will create a test as Alison suggests. I will give this to Beverly Benfer, and she can make it available to all students in all WebCT courses. This can be used as the first assignment that will "unlock" the content modules.
