You know that it is not possible to right-click on a photo in a pdf file in order to copy it. This programme will extract all the photos that appear in a .pdf presentation and put all of them into a folder...

In case you have forgotten, the verb "to be" is often left out in Malay. So when you ask the questions below you only have to say: "Where washroom?, Where my shoes?, Where Petaling Street?, Where he?, Where my key?" Don't laugh - after all Malay is not English!

If there is any music student or aspiring musician among you here, you will be glad to hear about this free programme that allows you to write your own sheet music by just typing text like "abc" or "do re mi". The programme is called LilyPond and it does this by encoding the musical notes from letters and numbers. Even a non-musician like me is able to make use of it. After all the principal notes are represented by the letters "c d e f g a b". Look at my feeble attempt in using it here.

I wonder if, like me, you have, on occasion, received the same junk email every day (and sometimes a few times in the same day) until you know them all by heart. If you have, then you might be interested to make use of this email refusal service. Just as under snail mail of yonder years you would write "Return to Sender" on the envelope and put it back into the mailbox, here you just forward the unwanted and unsolicited email to this email address (mailman@return2-sender.com) and they will do it for you. So each time you receive one such mail, don't tear your hair out! Just click on the "Forward" button and type mailman@return2-sender.com on the address line.

If you want to print an email message from your Gmail account without having to print the column on the left (containing Inbox, Sent Mail, etc) nor the sponsored links/advertisements on the right you have to click on New window (not from File - New Window but "New Window" on the right-side column of your email) and then click on "Print all" from there.
