"Last September, in Rome, I printed a picture and put it as an advertising board on a van that traveled all over the city. The picture is a remix of the one that in the 90’s was printed on LSD blotters (decorated paper sheets, soaked in LSD and other, pre-cut in squares). Many of us have eaten that picture whose author is, probably, unknown."

*Note about the original picture: The man flying carefree on his bicycle is Albert Hofmann, inventor of LSD, portrayed during his most famous ride: when in 1943 he rode all the way home from his lab after taking a fix of his own invention.

È riduttivo definire Rub Kandy uno street artist, poiché le sue opere spaziano in vari campi, anche se la strada – intesa come palcoscenico pubblico non autorizzato – resta un elemento fondamentale del suo lavoro. Potentino trapiantato a Roma, Rub ha di recente vissuto un momento di estrema notorietà, quando in occasione del 25 Aprile ha installato sul ponticello al Pigneto, quartiere fra il trendy e il popolare della capitale, un’insegna metallica con la scritta “Work will make you free”, traducendo in inglese la famosa insegna di Auschwitz."

Two months ago, three guys came in Italy to take some video shots about Rome street art scene. In that occasion we toured the city doing a strange traveling artwork. It was so hot that day. Now, these shots, with other shots about other roman artists, turn into a documentary about street art in european cities. Watch it on french tv!

Non si finisce mai di imparare: non sapevo che i lacrimogeni potessero essere lanciati da un elicottero, mi sembra un metodo che garantisce molta precisione.
