(In case you missed it >>> my 1st Goult, France blog post!) And now, Christie + Zach’s Engagement Adventure around the quaint village of Goult, France – complete with a charming windmill!C’mon, it doesn’t get much cuter than this!
I love the navy and white attire – so fitting for southern France in the late spring. Don’t they look great?!I couldn’t help myself for these next two, I just *had* to take these shots! We had such a pleasant afternoon wander the cobblestone roads of Goult.

{Christie + Zach’s Southern France Destination Wedding Adventure, Part 1: Welcome to Goult! a.k.a. Let’s Get French}

There are days I have to pinch myself to realize my trip to southern France to photograph Christie + Zach’s week-long wedding celebration wasn’t just a dream, movie, or fairytale. (Though, as you’ll soon see, it’s not hard to understand how I might wonder if I were in a glorious dream.) As one of their friends described perfectly, the view out my window was “like the view of a Disney princess!” In fact, I felt quite like a princess. (If Disney princesses had responsibilities aside from keeping their hair in place, like photographing weddings.)

Everything about the quaint village was picture-perfect; each darling cafe, charming fountain, hand-carved door, manicured topiary, stone wall, the adorable village windmill, and – perhaps most note-worthy – the castle, Chateau de Goult! You read that correctly. A real castle. With suits of armor, busts of stone, swords adorning the walls, crystal chandeliers, four-post beds, a cave below ground, and even a stone tower of its own. To say it was hard to take everything in would be an understatement of absurd proportions. Upon my arrival I spent the first few hours wide-eyed, furiously exploring every corner of the castle and the grounds with a grin that would make the Cheshire Cat jealous. No words could appropriately convey how grateful I am to Zach + Christie for inviting me to join them for the incredible week.

As you might guess, I have far too many photos to share in just a single blog post or two. I’m pretty sure I’d break the Internet, and we all know that wouldn’t go over well. Therefore, I’ll be writing a series of posts to highlight various portions of my trip. I hope you enjoyed some picturesque scenes of Goult, the French countryside, and the stunning chateau property!

Welcome to the rustic wedding celebration of Lex + Connor at the Barn at Flanagan Farm in Buxton, Maine. I met these 2 back in 2011 at the wedding of two other wonderful people – Hannah & Toph. (Thanks again, you 2, for introducing us!!) As a member of Hannah’s bridal party, Lex + I hit it off immediately, and stayed in touch ever since. I was thrilled when she reached out to me about her own wedding day and, naturally, I was all in. It was such a pleasure getting to photograph their special day. I can’t say enough about these two (and their darling daughter, Fallon!) Enjoy the beautiful start to their big day. After their wedding preparations, Elliott + Audrey were ready for their First Look in the knoll! It was one of my favorite parts of the day, and provided a fantastic opportunity to capture some genuine and sincere candid moments of the darling couple while they get to spend some time together. Seriously, can you handle this amount of cute?? I love this one of the two of them waving to some of their bridal party. Because we had planned some time for portraits before the ceremony, we had a chance to explore the beautiful property.Don’t these two make you smile?!Belle Haven was full of lovely antique details like these colorful stained glass windows and an amazing crystal chandelier.This might be my favorite of all… but it’s so hard to pick just one. Up next is their sweet ceremony in the birdhouse garden!

It’s true – Virginia is for lovers! Audrey + Elliott began their festive day at the lovely, historic Belle Haven on the James in charming Scottsville, Virginia. Here’s a glimpse into how their day of celebration began!

Their flowers were the perfect blend of simple and gorgeous to complement the wedding decor. I couldn’t get enough of the vintage goodies all over the house. Such fun to photograph!Cheers to a wonderful day ahead!Audrey made a stunning bride!Meanwhile, Elliott was spending some quality time with his groomsmen…Looking good!Before Audrey + Elliott shared their First Look, Audrey and her dad had their own. It was incredibly sweet (and I’m glad there were tissues nearby!) With the finishing touches in place, it was time for the lucky couple to see each other for the first time on their wedding day! With their wedding ceremony complete, it was time to make our way to the beautiful Tupper Manor in Beverly, MA to kick off the celebration! The grounds are gorgeous and with the fall foliage at its peak we made our way down the path into the woods for some portraits of the newlyweds. What a blast with these two! And they sure couldn’t look more perfect together.

After seeing them spend more time laughing their wedding day than anything else, I know they’re doing something right! This LIGHT ! * googly eyes *Their bridal party was on point, and kept the couple all smiles all day long (just in case they didn’t do that enough already). What an awesome group!

Genuine giggles are the best. <3 I love the architecture of Tupper Manor – classic and timeless, and the lights from inside added a lovely warm glow to some of their portraits which is so charming.

Coming up: their grand finale of a wedding reception featuring dance moves I can only describe with an absurd combo of emojis.

From the first time I met Gen + Jason I looked forward to their wedding day eagerly. Gen thoughtfully kept me updated on all the glorious details along the way. It was really enjoyable and inspiring to hear (and see) so much about their celebration as everything aligned. And what a day! I arrived at the Salem Waterfront Hotel to lots of big smiles and warm welcomes as everyone was busy preparing for a fantastic day ahead.Her dress made me googly-eyed all day. I just love all the different layers and how elegantly they fall!Gen’s bridesmaids wore floor-length blush pink dresses with roses along the shoulder strap – so sweet.As Gen was becoming a glowing bride, her groom was downstairs enjoying a drink with his groomsmen at the Regatta Bar. (I love this old nautical map of the Salem waterfront!)With everyone in top form, it was off to Sacred Heart Parish in Manchester-by-the-Sea for their ceremony!Gen shared a few touching moments with her dad before heading down the aisle…Happy tears for his future wife. <3 Officially Mr. & Mrs.! And Gen’s face below says exactly that. So cute!If you think of a wedding day as a huge iceberg, this would be just the tip [and fear not, there are no sinking ships at the end of this love story.] Stay tuned for more of their gorgeous autumn wedding day at the historic Tupper Manor at Endicott College — I’m just getting started!

It was literally a postcard-perfect day on the grounds of Gibbet Hill; the sort of thing you just can’t plan. Incredibly pleasant temperatures, a charming light breeze, foliage to cause any leaf-peeper serious peeper envy (I’m pretty sure that’s a thing), and two adorable people in love, ready to tie the knot. I could not have been happier they opted to see each other before their ceremony to spend some time together just the two of them, and this tree was just begging to get in on the photo fun. Very, very little has been done to these colors in post — this is how they actually read in-camera. It was unreal, but I’m definitely not complaining. Enjoy some of my favorites from their sweet first moments as soon-to-be-newlyweds.

As I entered Angela’s bridal suite, I was welcomed warmly with huge grins and even bigger hugs. It was a great way to start what I knew would be an equally great day. It was a lot of fun spending time with these ladies as they prepared for the day ahead.

Angela had so much glorious eye candy for me to admire and photograph. How fun are her sparkly Betsey Johnson heels!?

Angela absolutely radiated throughout the day. (More so than usual, as she’s such a joyful, positive person to be around on any given day.)

A true beauty inside and out. <3

Meanwhile, Josey finished preparing for the big day in his room.

With the ladies already at Gibbet Hill, it was Josey’s turn to head over for the rest of the festivities. Spirits were high and levels of excitement quickly began to rise as everyone anticipated all that was ahead for a truly spectacular wedding day…. stay tuned for more photos coming soon!

{lauren + matt – wedding peek! christopher columbus park + the harpoon brewery. boston, ma.}

Here’s a taste of what’s in store from Lauren + Matt’s fun-filled two day wedding celebration! Day 1 began with their wedding ceremony beneath some incredible fall foliage at Christopher Columbus Park. Their festivities continued the following day over some bowling, beers and bites to eat at Lucky Strike before heading to Boston’s Harpoon Brewery for their wedding reception (complete with a Ruby Booth to keep the fun level at full blast)!

Harpoon has so many great spots to sneak away for interesting portraits. One of my favorites is their vintage beer can wall! (If you visit for a tour, you’ll see it in their tasting room.)No pretzels were harmed in the making of the next image… but they sure were devoured. Thanks, Harpoon, for keeping those babies rolling fresh out of your ovens all evening; what a treat! And an enormous thank you to Lauren + Matt for having me along to capture so many great moments for you!!

L + M – since our very first meeting, it has been a true pleasure spending time together as we’ve gotten to know each other. Cheers to you both for nailing it on every level — you should consider writing a how-to guide for planning an all-around awesome-to-the-fullest wedding celebration. Heart you guys!
