Watch Your Favorite Stars Via Online DVD Rental Houses

From time to time we get asked to look at sites that pertain to Rumor Patrols audience and if they’re suited for you we’ll write what we think and let you know if they’re good or bad. The most recent site was one that I’ve never thought of reviewing and that’s Online DVD Rental companies. We sit here talking about all these movie stars personal lives and don’t always get a chance to mention the more practical matters like where to get a video from.

The site is basically an online DVD rental guide to help you choose which rental house you should go with based on your needs. Although the two main ones out there, Netflix and Blockbuster Video are relatively the same, there are subtle differences that can drive you crazy if you didn’t know them.

We here at Rumor Patrol have had experience with Netflix but after reading the reviews we can see that Blockbuster video may have a little more to off with their store locations that you could drop DVDs off at. This allows you to head out to the store if you want an immediate turnaround on a video.

The other thing we didn’t know that this site showed us was that Netflix has a lot of distribution centers making the turnaround time to get a DVD rental quick. Blockbuster on the other hand doesn’t have that many locations. For what its worth, this may slow the turnaround time to get a new DVD. Overall the review gave some information that we didn’t know and the site as a whole provides some great information. Head over and check it out.

Paris Hilton Dating in Nicole Richies Circle

Nicole Richie recently had Joel Madden’s kid. As far as we know, Nicole and Paris are still on the outs as far as friendships go. So why is Paris Hilton cherry picking from Nicole’s circle?

Cherry picking you say? That’s right, broke it off with Johnny Borrell has been hitting the Hollywood single scene looking for love, or maybe it was just fun.

We’ll wait to see what the latest Hollywood couple might be up to.

Soon Madonna Will Be able to Buy Africa

Madonna, who’s working on a world tour right now is close to a deal that would make her nearly $30 million in cold hard cash. That’s right, 30 million dollars.

The London Sun reported that Madonna is working towards a concert deal that would make her $25 million for a two show appearance in Dubai. Dubai, which is the capital of money, might even fork over $15 million if she does just one show.

One Show!!!

That’s a crazy deal. Supposedly the extra cash comes from some richie rich that will pay $10 million to have a private show.

Heck, if she stay stops at all the rich palaces she may be able to buy, feed, and cloth all of Africa by the time she’s done with that tour. Maybe we should be her manager?

Mariah Carey Hanging Out With Nick Cannon

If the rumors are true these singing, dancing, acting stars more than a decade apart in age are doing a little more than “hanging out.”

Mariah Carey, 38, and Nick Cannon, 27, are rumored to be canoodling by People magazine. The two were seen at Las Vegas place to be Prive, whispering, getting close, and dancing the night away. On lookers got a chance to see Nick Cannon DJ and Mariah enjoy his wheels of steel magic.

What’s your opinion, are the two a good looking couple or is Mariah Carey better left to the rumor mill?

Lindsay Lohan Sued

Lindsay Lohan, no stranger to the media or Hollywoods wonderful rumor mill, is being sued by an ex-bodyguard.

David Kim is claiming that Lindsay Lohan owes him $55,000 for services over a 5 month period that Lindsay never payed. The court case that was filed in LA stated intentional inflection of emotional stress? So what does a bodyguard to exactly? Physical stress is OK but emotional is a no go.

Season 2: A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila

That’s right, it’s not a rumor. Tila Tequila is ready for season 2 of her hit reality show, A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila. The MTV show will premiere on April 22nd and be of the same format as last season. 16 Guys and 16 Girls all looking to get a piece of the MySpace star.

In season 1, Tila picked Bobby, and as you can tell by the title of this post, it didn’t work out. But now she’s back for season 2 and ready to go through the same crazy antics as the first season.

From the look of the previews it would appear she was stuck with a few from the crowd of Flavor of Love, Flava Flavs hit reality show. But no, it’s Tila’s group, an interesting bunch that should definitely keep you glued to your TV.

Ashlee Simpson Pregnant?

That’s the rumor that’s going around Hollywood these days. Ashlee Simpson may be pregnant with her fiances baby, lead singer of Fall Out Boy, Peter Wentz. Is she gonna beat here sister to the baby punch? Or will Jessica Simpson not be outdone and try and get knocked up by her man Tony Romo?

We also found this little tid-bit of information on the subject over at msn.com about Joe Simpson, Ashlee’s father. You know the one, with all the rumors of how he loves to exploit his children for a little cash…

“Joe is contacting all the weeklies and asking them to pony up $1 million to put Ashlee on the cover,” a magazine insider tells the New York Post. “The deal would include photos of Ashlee — taken by Joe, of course, so he can make more money — an interview and photos of the baby when she has it.”

Who knows if that’s true but it seems like it very well could be given his track record.

What’s Young Jeezy Up To?

Have you ever wondered what Young Jeezy is up to when he’s not making hit records? Well, we haven’t either but we’re going to tell you.

Young Jeezy is a rapper who started out with Bad Boy Records in the group Boyz in Da Hood. After doing great in that group he moved on to become the solo artist he is today. Since 2001 (when he put our his first album as Lil’ J) he’s been making solo records.

His latest and greatest hits have been with artists like Keyshia Cole, R. Kelly, and T.I. His latest album, The Inspiration, was a thug hit and he’s due to come out with another album with Akon (who everyone knows just makes hit records) in early 2008. That album, titled Brothers in Arms, is rumored to have appearances by 50 Cent and Ludacris among others.

When he’s not rapping, Young Jeezy is working on releasing his new clothing line. The Jeezy clothing line has the label Eight 732. Those are the same numbers as USDA on a telephone. USDA is Young Jeezy’s rap group that rolls with him at times.

Young Jeezy is a busy rapper and is expected to just keep right on going once 2008 hits. Anytime you start out the year with an album along side big name artists (oh yeah, Young Buck and R. Kelly are supposed are also on the new album) as those mentioned above you’re bound to do big things.
