First Photo shoot For Free

Happy holidays to all I’ve completed my first photo shoot for free and I have a long way to go .I like doing landscape pictures much better but I’m out to try all aspects of photography. My client is try to rise funds using kiva zip for an accounting business, it a start and my client doesn’t get upset when I shoot the same pic’s over an over just trying to get the light wright . Hope to get back to shooting landscapes soon the weather just isn’t helping.

I’m taking a small break from my Australia travel posts so I can talk about fall, undeniably my favorite season. Jay and I recently spent a day in Georgetown, Washington, D.C., for no specific reason other than to enjoy the outdoors on a beautiful day.

I’ve never seen this sign before even though we drive into D.C. several times a year…

First stop: grab a quick bite at Dean & DeLuca, where freshness is the prominent ingredient.

We plopped down at a table just outside and dined while we listened to live music and watched this sweet pair dance.

Our vegetable frittata was gone in a matter of seconds.

Strolling the C&O Canal (Chesapeake and Ohio Canal).

While parts of the canal were scenic, my favorite views in Georgetown are the residential areas.

When can I move in?

Georgetown University in the distance.

Had the chance to take some shoot today but it was was pretty cloud, can not let that stop you from taking a couple shots. Normally my preffered dirt road walk is a solitary venture, but today was such a nice day that I encountered a mother and son and their dogs as well as three bikers apparently fresh off the Tour de France. Naturally I don’t have pictures of any of those people or creatures, but rather the following cup-shaped leaf, which also reminded me of a lemon:

Then on the way back up, I was able to find an agate, aided largely by the sun shining through it from the west.

Hey all it been a minute, I took photo’s for a friends event and I had my first comment left on many black & white album http://jalbum.net/en/browse/user/album/1232786 It nice when you get some good feed back, It made me want to go out and take more pic.
