In 1913, the Russian Post has published a sets of 17 stamps dedicated to the 300 th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty. On the stamps are portraits of Russian tsars from Alexei Mihailovich to Nicholas II. I (the designer Vladimir Marmilov) began producing Non-postal (Cinderella) stamps, has decided to release a new sets of Romanovs, using the design of old ones, but instead of graphic portraits of Russian monarchs, using portraits of famous Russian and foreign artists.
