It's not that some people DON'T change... Some people just CAN'T change... A lot of my energy and time have gone to waste trying to defy this truth.
Routine actions become habit after 21 days of repetition... and just as long to break. Does this mean a habit that is developed over 30+ years takes the same amount of time to break?

As each disappointment with my mother continues to solidify my fears... I've come to the reality, she is who she is and will not change.

Pissed... Angry... Frustrated... These words can describe most of my days in the past couple months. The constant reminders are everywhere... I have failed at what I set out to do in life; so far...
I feel the constant build of stress and regret for certain actions. I realize that there are consequences for even the smallest slip up...

Please take this headache away...

It's funny when you find yourself asking yourself 'why did I just lie about that?'... Often I find myself not telling the truth for no reason. As if making up a story and trying to remember what i told that specific person is going to make things easier...

Thank you for checking my blog out... Your probably wondering what exactly this blog will be about, so am I lol. Im open to any convo and topics.

About myself... Im just a kid moving along in his career to success. Im hoping to see my friends there as well. My music background isn't much different then the typical story that youv'e heard a hundred times. You know, the whole 'I have been doing music since I was a child... and grew up in the church choir' speech. Truthfully, I didn't start taking music seriously until about 4 years ago, and now I'm pushing forward full steam.

I remember selling my first beat for only $25 to a local rapper named "Ready" haha.... I was toooooooo excited... I don't know what the overwhelming feeling was that came over me at that moment. It might have been the thought that I gained some respect from my peers for my craft... It could have been the thought someone believed that my music was good enough to invest in... Whatever it was, I felt good that I had turned a hobby into something more...

~Sidebar: The struggles in believe in life can make, break, and rebuild a person. I have been at all ends of the spectrum just like everyone else. I also believe that the journey is the best part; Thank You Mom;-)

Right now.... Im in a place where things are looking up and Im still free to explore different avenues in music and life. I hope in your life that you find happiness and joy in what you do and who you are.

For the most part, I always figured that I had it all figured out. There arent to many things in life that throw my head for a spin. I have experienced alot in my lifetime ( and im not kidding) that most people dont even know about me or could comprehend. To my credit, i know i handled my misfortune alot better then some....

Even with my extensive background experience, I am struggling to understand one constant...'WOMAN'....

Another day ends/ and once again/ i'm pissed about how it began.... a freestyle that I say in my thoughts every night before bed/ I didn't do anything that I needed to get ahead ~V.A.

I'm finding myself in a struggle of not really utilizing me... My father always said " your going to make me rich someday"... meaning behind that quote; hope... one day I'll get my ass in gear!

I know I have a lot to accomplish for my own satisfaction but the thoughts of the people that rely on me keep me up sometimes... 27 is coming faster then 26 and i'm sure 28 is coming twice as fast (thats what she said) . Hesitation has been a catalyst that shows its ugly face/ whenever I need to act apace ~V.A.

Let this last reset...be my last reset...

.....I set out on a new goal... Putting myself between a rock and a hard place is not something I normally do. In fact, I tend to do the exact opposite, finding the easiest way to get what I want with the minimum amount of effort (don't we all). But for some reason I felt it is time to see what I've got in the tank; how much or how far can a person push themselves for the better.

What would need to be sacrificed in order to reach something that is, in all likely hood, an uncertainty.... more important than all my doubts, why did I wait so long ...
