I bet you have a childhood memory that you cherish a little extra? One of mines is from walking our old dog in the mountain nearby, discovering new paths, plants and traces of animals. Hand colored DGA.

DGA is the abbreviation for digital graphic artwork, which means that the artwork is made in several steps that mixes manual and digital techniques. This picture is first painted, then digitized and processed, printed professionally at a print house, and finally colored by hand, which means this piece is unique.

The picture surface measures slightly less than 13 x 18 cm, paper size is a little bigger.

This huge giclee print, measuring 80 x 28 cm (31,5"x11") is based upon a tiny painting, only measuring 3x9 cm (1,2x3,6")! The result print I find really cool and edgy, capturing the rough personality of the mountain.

This giclee print is now for sale.

Only 39 giclee prints are available for sale, all marked with unique id-numbers and signed. The prints size are 80 x 28 cm (31,5"x11"). I love Egon Schieles drawings. Some of them are mixed drawings and paintings. The expressions are often strange, with uncorrect propotions, but very vivid and strong in character. This drawing I made as a study of one of his drawings. I believe studying others techniques, in trying to copy others expressions, is a strong way of learning.
