I would like to welcome and thank Erik Rustand for taking the time to participate in our first interview. Erik shares with us some of his experiences, ideas and tips he has learned from building and flying his RV-4. Attached to this interview are photos that illustrate the topic being discussed. So sit back, relax and enjoy our first interview while Erik and I participate in some RV hangar flying. My name is Jack Kohler and I am setting up an RV focused podcast to create some interesting and informative dialog amongst the RV builder and pilot community. I am fortunate to be a partner in a beautiful yellow RV4, N639TB (Tweety Bird). Since, like most of you, I've had the opportunity to fly and meet other RV owners and I realize we love to share our experiences. And what better way is there for an RV builder or pilot to share their knowledge than a good ol' Bravo Sierra hangar flying session. My goal is to have conversations with as many of you out there that wish to participate and hopefully there will be some insight, wisdom and informative information the listener will take away. I am currently working on the initial introduction podcast and lining up prospective guests for some great RV hangar flying, so stay tuned. As I progress, I will be looking forward to hearing ideas on who, what, when, where and how to improve this program to make it successful. I hope you will enjoy this program...

For now, here are a couple photos from a recent flight. The first photo is base to final at Bend Minicipal Airport (S07). Second is myself in "Tweety Bird" getting ready to taxi for departure. Third is a formation flight with the other RV4's in our hangar.

Click on the photos for more detail.
