It looked like a good deal. And it looked legitimate. But then she learned the truth -- luckily in time before she sent off her cash. A brief ad plays before the video.

RVer Jim Jaillet stopped by the RVtravel.com headquarters last week. Jim is the author of two books about RVing in a motorhome from the USA to Central America. In this eight-minute interview, he talks about his big 343-day adventure to Panama, through Mexico, and back. It was not an easy trip and one that takes plenty of planning and preparation. The result is in a collision from the rear there's a 22 percent increased chance of a whiplash injury to passengers. Learn more in this one minute video.

In the early 21st century there is no reason in the world that people who are dedicated to limiting their environmental footprints can't also enjoy the great outdoors in style and comfort. After all, who loves trees, lakes and rivers more than environmentalists?

You've always wondered why a trailer with two or four wheels of its own is called a "fifth wheel", right? Still, we know what it means. It's an RV travel trailer that is towed from the bed of a pickup truck or a truck tractor, allowing for more driving stability and interior space. But there was a time when the term "fifth wheel" was relatively unheard of and much more literal.
