Well, on a recent browse through the blogosphere I came across this lovely designer by the name of <a href="http://web.mac.com/han.a/iWeb/aoikotsuhiroi/Aoi%20Kotsuhiroi%20blog/Aoi%20Kotsuhiroi%20blog.html">Aoi Kotsuhiroi</a>. Her work is magnificent, and that is putting it lightly. The pieces are truly surreal. Using mediums such as aquamarine, porcelain, silk, and human hair; Aoi creates unique art pieces that transform a necklace into a masterpiece. In a recent conversation with the designer I asked her where she drew the inspirations for her jewelry and she stated, "my inspiration is in clouds, literature, by discussing sometimes with spiders, by looking at the trees growing, by listening to a lot of music, by doing <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zazen">zazen</a>, and in my dreams..."
