COLLISION EARTH Premiere!

According to the Mayans, Roland Emmerich and a bumper sticker I saw while sitting in traffic, 2012 is supposed to be a “smoke ‘em if you got ‘em” kind of year for humanity. So what better way to kick it off than with an awesome movie foretelling our ultimate demise? Collision Earth, premiering tonight on the SyFy Network, is a movie I wrote that asks a lot of big questions…particularly those about what might happen if Earth – spoiler alert – collides with something. It’s a fun way to spend a Saturday night – check it out on SyFy at 9PM PST, then hit me up to let me know what you thought.

After a year that was jam-packed full of awesome, I was lucky enough to find a way to end it with a bang. Today – December 31, 2011 – I married the smart, beautiful, fascinating woman you see to my left! For those of you who’ve met Chels, you know how lucky I am to have her as my full-time P.I.C. For those of you who haven’t, you have the rest of our lives to make her acquaintance…starting right after the honeymoon. In the meantime, have a happy (and safe) new year!

COLLISION EARTH One Sheet

With all the force of a massive planetary body smashing into our own fair Earth, the one-sheet for Collision Earth has arrived on the web! Promising of all sorts of fiery devastation from above – for Europe in particular, based on the trajectory of that incoming planet – the poster sums up the film’s premise with the spoiler-alerty tagline “When Planets Collide”. ”Worlds Will Collide” might have been a bit punchier but hey – I only got to write the movie, not the tagline. The premiere’s set for early 2012 on the SyFy Network and if you can’t wait until then, blink incredibly rapidly while staring at the poster – pretty sure that’ll make it seem like it’s moving. Or cause you to black out. One or the other.

New Razor Scooter Commercial

Just wrapped on a brand new commercial for Razor Scooter! It was a great shoot for a really fun product – one that may or may not be artfully silhouetted to my left. More details to follow as soon as the cut comes together. Rest assured that the commercial’s for something that your son/daughter/niece/nephew will definitely want to see under the Christmas tree this year, especially after they see the ad on Nickelodeon, Disney XD and any other channel that’s dedicated to pure awesome. Stay tuned…

I’m excited to announce that Game On has just upped its game! Following its theatrical release with Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, the 3D short – which I put together with the insanely talented Harry Shum Jr. – is now available on DVD. It kicks off the Director’s Fan Cut edition of Never Say Never and is available at Target stores starting right…now! So grab a copy of the disc, complete with a handsome keepsake box and a Justin Bieber necklace, and fire it up on your home entertainment center to relive the magic.
