Improved navigation in Usability Studio 3.1

First, we have slightly improved the navigation over projects and sessions.

Added new keyboard shortcuts:
1. Switching between the "Projects" and "Sessions" lists can now be done using the "Right" and "Left" arrow keys respectively.
2. The preview can be opened by pressing the "Enter" key.

Second, we have slightly modified project opening. Now, if you need to add a project (or session) created on other computer, simply copy it to the folder with all your projects and launch the application.

Finally, of course, we have fixed all the bugs found.

Configuring Backup in Rylstim Budget

A light improvement that allows disabling backing up your project or changing the number of backup files.

To configure this option, use the "Options" window (Tools>Options).

If you do not need to backup, clear the check box.

To change the number of backup files, edit the number.

To apply and save changes, click OK.

Shareware Express 1.1 - Events

We are pleased to announce that we have finally released the update for Shareware Express, our software marketing tool.

In this update, we have slightly enlarged the Goals window and added renaming areas.

To edit your areas, select Rename Areas on the Project menu. When done with editing, click Save.

Wheel of Life Lite - Freeware

We have prepared a free, lite version of our Wheel of Life software. At this moment, the Lite version is available only to Windows users, but soon we are planning to release the Wheel of Life Lite for Mac OS X too.

Differences between the Lite and the Regular versions:

No projects.

We have taught our program to automatically save all changes in a project, so you will no longer have to check whether or not your project has been saved.

The second, not a less important feature, is undoing last actions (Undo\Redo). That means you can now take any actions over your project and not worry for your data, as everything can be easily restored.

The rest of the changes primarily apply to the internal functioning of the program and eliminating errors found.

Two new functions have been added:

Copying transactions with the mouse (Drag&Drop + Ctrl). Copying a transaction is now much simpler and quicker.
Accessing network through a proxy server.

We are glad to announce the release of a new version.

The update includes:

Import/Export features implemented. Import and Export support QIF and CSV formats.
Saving report parameters. Now you can configure a report once and store it in a project for future calls.
Calendar printing improved. Small changes implemented, which produce a nicer looking calendar.
Calculator improved.
Finally, the most interesting addition: in the new version you will be able to remove transactions, set/clear marks and move transactions from one day to another using the mouse only, with a single left-click.

Rylstim Budget 3.3 is now available

The new version features search with the ability to edit transactions in groups. We combined these two functions so now you can find required transactions and then edit, move or delete them. You can edit multiple transactions at once, which do not have to be related in any way.

A new feature has been implemented namely setting limits for categories and subcategories. Correspondingly, a new report was added, where you can see the difference between the planned and the actual budget.

7 new currencies were added to the list of supported currencies, a few minor bugs were fixed. The registered users can receive the update for free.

Improved Reports and New Language

The new version has significantly improved reports. Now all reports can be printed and stored in a file (in an MS Word compatible format).

Russian has been added to the list of available languages.

Also, we didn't forget about usability. Now main window configuration is stored at program exit and restored at startup.

Now, using Rylstim Budget you can work with several currencies simultaneously! We tried not to limit you with a single exchange rate for a currency. The program will store all exchange rate changes, which you make, so you will be able to get actual data for any day.

The program interface is translated into two more languages: German and Spanish.

Also the update includes the ability to set a hint for the password as well as bug fixes.
