Smore Wedding Favors South Dakota Wedding

We envision these favors for an outdoor wedding or even the rehearsal dinner campfire evening.

Quantity: 32 Skill Level: Beginner

Supplies:
*One box of gram crackers
*4 4.4oz Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars
*One bag of Jet Puffed Stacker or other Marshmellows
*Cello bags or boxes that will fit
*Tie material: ribbon, jute, etc
*Tags

Working/Cleaning Supplies:
*Scissors
*Knife
*Hole Punch

Step One: Begin by gathering your supplies and a clean working space. We found that the bags were the hardest item to find. Given the height of the assembled smore you need a bags that will expand or big boxes. When selecting your Hershey’s bar feel through the wrapper at the number of sections. Those that have three will leave you with a leftover chunk. For your tags you can create your own either by hand or on the computer, print our right here, or go to your graphic designer and have them made to coordinate with your other wedding printables.

Step Two/Three: In preparation of breaking the chocolate bar we recommend scoring the bar with knife first. This created a perfect clean break every time.

Step Four: Break your chocolate bar by placing your thumbs on each side of the break point and apply pressure.

Step Five: Break your graham crackers in half

Step Six/Seven: Stack your chocolate bar and marshmallows.

Step Eight: Put the stacked smore in the bag, it works best to open the bag first with both hands.

Step Nine: Cut and tie your ribbon around the bag with a simple knot. This will cinch the bag closed and make it easier to tie it tight before applying the tag.

Step Ten: Punch a hole in your tags and tie them to the bag. For your tags you are welcome to download and use ours or go to your graphic designer to create one to match the rest of your wedding elements.

Last Enjoy. These will heat up in the microwave or on the open fire.

South Dakota wedding makeup is coming to life with amazing colors; reds for the retro looks, hot pinks and corals rocking for the summer. Strong color on the lips but soft on the eyes makes it just right for South Dakota wedding looks. And yes, you can wear a red lip color; it is just a matter of finding the hue that is right for you and then confidently owning the look! False lashes are here to stay. They make the eyes really pop without having to add much makeup, but be sure to have a professional apply them. What we see as a trend on the horizon is pastels! Pale grey blues, blush pinks, lavenders, mint greens, and warm peaches with just a touch on the eyes makes the soft hues in the dresses and flowers really flow together beautifully. If you want to really be a bit more runway, try a lavender hued lip-gloss. It is so romantic and pretty.

What a clever and fun spin on the photo booth strip save the date idea. They faked some old-fashioned photo booth strips and then cropped things to look like the bride-to-be was walking into the frame. So clever!

Get FITT for your South Dakota Wedding

You spend lots of time getting things planned for your wedding, like when it will be, who to invite, who the photographer will be, and what style you want your wedding dress to be. You can spend a year planning all of the details of the day, so now you need to plan on how you want to look and feel in your wedding dress. It will take time to work on your plan for fitness, and you want to start early. By following the FITT idea, you can be sure that you are working towards managing your weight, and improving your health. After all, your wedding is one day. You want to be healthy and feel good for a lifetime together with your spouse. The basic principle of FITT includes: Frequency, Intensity, Time, and Type of Activity.

Frequency:

Increase frequency of the exercise/activity slowly.
Build to being active 5 or more days of the week.

Intensity:

Be active at a moderate intensity similar to a brisk walk.
Be active at a rate that allows for talking.
Slow down if you have trouble breathing or feel you can’t catch your breath, at least when you are first starting out.

Time:

Try to stay active for at least 10 minutes without stopping, and then gradually keep adding minutes.
Aim for at least 30 minutes of activity throughout the day, or 150 minutes/week.
Increase the length of time you are active before increasing the intensity of the activity.

Type of Activity:

Do aerobic activities, such as walking briskly, biking, swimming, running.
The exercise that you choose must be the right one for you, and one that you will enjoy to do. Remember: The best exercise for you is the exercise that is best for you!
Try also to include strength and flexibility activities, at least twice/week.

The FITT Principle can help you begin to plan for your wedding day, as well as lay the foundation for general health and fitness. Future topics will help outline in more detail the above principles as I continue to discuss how to help get FITT for your wedding day.
