Today, I'm excited to share with you that I finally set up my own business!
My recent years have been interesting to say the least, switching careers from finance to food, going to culinary school, working in restaurant kitchens and catering events, slowly discovering how much I do like Korean food, especially homemade dishes, and finding my own path of teaching Korean cooking.
As I got to work on more interesting and diverse projects last year, my desire to create my own nest grew so that I could bring together fun cooking classes that are infused with a deeper understanding of Korean culture, from language, history to modern pop. I made a point of getting it started this year, and slowly but surely, it has come along. Banchan Story is a culmination of everything I've done so far under the umbrella of food as well as a starting point of bringing more fun Korean culture and food experiences in the future.
This personal blog kept me going throughout my adventure in recent years and will remain as my Korean food diary, but other information, including my class schedule, will be transferred to www.banchanstory.com soon and will be updated from there along with any new information.
