Our friend Steve came to visit for a quick weekend on his way further south to visit family. We took him to the Fort Worth Stockyards which is a totally Texan and totally fun!

I got my photo taken on a long horn and bought the cutest pair of boots ever! Sometimes I have a bit of fun here in Texas

On saturday I took the mutt to the dog park to play with Marty and Lindsay’s dogs Edison and Athena. They are all such beautiful and friendly animals and I think they had a blast. See for yourself!

Headed out to GrapeFest in Grapevine, TX to meet up with my sister and the girls and enjoy the festivities. It was really hot and Jeff and I didn’t last very long. But it was fun and it was great to see the nieces! I love those little ones!

Yesterday I went out shooting with Rachel, Wes, Jess, Hanna, and Kayde. We headed to Deep Ellum and we had a blast. I’m completely in love my my pocket wizards and now Rachel is totally dying to get some as well.

Holly set up this shoot with her friend Ashley whose expecting. She arranged it at the fabulous NYLO Hotel (if you’ve never been there you should check it out, it’s amazing!). Ashley rocked the shoot and thank you to her for being fearless posing in very busy areas. Her photos turned out amazing, no surprise really, because this gal’s got simple chic and beautiful style.

Sofia and Johnny were married July 24, 2010, and I had the wonderful pleasure of documenting their special day! Their incredible wedding took place at the Sheraton Dallas and was absolutely stunning. I’m so happy for you and I’m so grateful for having the opportunity to capture you and you’re unique and absolutely gorgeous day! You two are amazing!

Yesterday I also headed up to Lake Tahoe with a couple friends. We walked around Zephyr and took lots of pictures I never realized how much I loved and missed that lake until yesterday. It’s even prettier than I remember it being. I love Lake Tahoe and I’m so enjoying this trip and seeing my friends and family here.

Yesterday I met up with my friend Sarah and her family to do some portraits. She has an adorable little 2 year old boy and her and her hubby are expecting a sweet little girl very soon. I’m so excited for them and I’m so glad she asked me to do some photographs of her and her beautiful family.

Congratulations Sarah and Tristan! I can’t wait to see your little girl, I know she’s going to be beautiful!

UPDATE: Sarah had her beautiful baby girl on July 18. While how early she came was a surprise to all, Sarah and little Ellie are doing great! Congratulations Sarah and Tristan! I’m so happy for you guys!
