The six day class was taught by Mike Moros and focused on the cold molding of a hull for &lt;a href="http://www.woodenboat.com/books/tcsample.pdf"&gt;William Garden's Tomcat design&lt;/a&gt;.  The class also included a field trip to &lt;a href="http://www.brionrieffboatbuilder.com"&gt;Brion Rieff Boat Builders&lt;/a&gt;, a yard that specializes in cold molded builds.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br Rick made a nice mast step from steel.  The design will allow a person to step the mast singlehanded.  It also doubles as a holder for the mast when it is down and horizontal. We have mostly been waiting for paint work to dry before turning the shop back into woodworking mode. A crew of five managed to manhandle her back onto the trailer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The last two weeks have seen nine coats of paint go onto the topsides and five on the bottom.
