did it .. got the official blogger share buttons.. no messy pluginz n crap.. though had to reinstall disqus & reset the template widgets from the edit template sections.. and as they say always back ur stuff up..

it happens every now and then that something which is suppose to be free comez out with limited access in the beginning,, and you need to be invited to see the jurassic park before it is open to the public, its somewhat the same with Google + right now like it was before with Facebook, Gmail, Orkut, and many before it & after it..

it just suckz when you don't have the invite and you know somebody who has it.. you sure can ask them.. but wtf they are out of it.. damn i hate it soo much i fucking want an invite to google plus like right now.. anyways am just waiting till i receive an email from google themselves telling me that hey your welcome to our little playground .. as of now am just here venting my anger with nothing better to do..

i might turn this blog into a status update blog page i guess in some days or may be from today itself..

windows xp rocks to date.. if it wasnt for the stupid motherboard to die out on me .. and me gettin a new laptop (sony vaio) and u coming preloaded on it .. i wouldve never ever wanted to use u...

on a general level windows 7 is fine pleasin and what not.. but when u are using it day and night there are times i wish i could just format & forget all the crap it has got with it and go back to xp.. but then that is another task for which am too lazy and i seriously dont have the time..

its all about time ..

i like the way messenger workz and the start bar and aero stuff on it.. but seriously at times when i leave it idle it doesnt stays idle it keeps on doin som shit in da background and when i come back itz like a blast from the past and running shot from the movie matrix .. everythin is slomo.. so much that the only option i have is to reset it.. and i hate restarting systems .. even though i know it from the it crowd that is the best trouble shooting but for what fuckin sake should i restart.. just so that all the app and everything has to open up again .. and am glad ive got chrome no more fearing to lose the open tabs atleast..

the fact tat am annoyed at it is becausse i got my phone back .. n900 repaired now that is another story .. and they bloody flashed it even though knowing its a hardware problem not a software.. so i have to now flash it again before i can restore the backupz..

u might ask why i will want to flash the phone again when it is already flashed by them.. its bcz of the fucking govt..

they ve been tryna act like a lot of big brothers these dayz.. like seriously wtf why not just take our right to privacy and freedom and join the leagues of saudi and china .. fuck u indian govt on ur stance with privacy and internet lawz.. they are just pathetice and hypocritic of the democracy we boast of. although i do not have issuez with whatever else u do cuz it is fine .. but this is just double standards .. may be you have them elsewhere as well its just that i find it hard to notice i guess.. such endless ranting for what joy on the govt.. well cuz theyve banned skype in our country can you believ that .. well not an all out ban ... but still it seemz soo.. they dont allow voip .. hence the indian version of our nokia n900 doesnt comes with it.. even though being the first phone to come preloaded with skype.. it comes without skype in india.. hence the need to reflash it to a global firmware..

a piece of advice to GoI dont just fuckin ban the service try to have workarounds it and co exist.. i understand it is for security but what about all the good things it can doo.. that is also far much greater..this is just like a knife.. u can either use it to cut apples or cut people..

so what i was saying i hate windowz 7 .. infact i started hating anything that doesnt let me have control .. loved ubuntu .. the only problem with it was.. the display drivers werent good enuf .. and i didnt quite enjoyed that.. in terms of usability and stability it was awesome.. and faster as well. as u dont crappy stufff which i wouldnt require in normal situations..

so it happens to be that i cannot freaking flash my phone on windows 7 cuz its shitty .. tried workarounds to it .. whatever there was.. the last resort seemz to be me returning to ubuntu again .. just tried installing ubuntu on my spare pendrive.. :) hope it works like a charm and saves the day..

why i loved xp cuz it was smooth.. it didnt lagged .that much even though i killed the motherboard.. :P by presssurin it with too much workload.. it didnt seem to slow that much down .. and whn i pressed ctrl alt del i knew one thing for sure it wud give me task manager to kill the freakin problem here its different the task manager itself gets the not responding ..

fuck u windows 7 .. its just that ur free and came with this .. ill have to adjust with you.. althoug am kinda waiting for windows 8 cuz it kinda lookz neat and clean and responsive.. if its got the same issuez like u .. am goin linux..

am soo glad i didnt had to use vista..

the title say's it all ... its been now 36 hours straight :) x_x lsning to the piano play in the room gives the sense therz a ball room dance goin on & am ther sitting by the table looking at the shiny lights staring somewhere.. but this room is dark hazy & the eyes wont shut... i can hear the sounds of my teeth crackling ..

And now the drums play like a feast is about to begin at a funeral .

talkin is so boring what is there to know when you already know what is expected & what is about to come.

wonder what would arise interest in life if it cannot offer much and this aint suicidal its just the way it is.

How to install Skype on your Nokia N900 with Indian Firmware

Hey there everyone I bought my Nokia N900 like a month ago in bangalore from India, and one of the reasons why I was purchasing this instead of N8 which was cheaper at the time I bought my N900 was Skype , I came back home with this mobile computer I'd like to say , just to found that there was no Skype preinstalled I was like hmm may be I will have to install it from the Ovi Store or from Skype itself but it lead to nowhere ,

Did some googling and found out Skype is not allowed in India due to some technical issues so the N900 with Indian Firmware does not have it and will not install it.

At that time I was like wtf wer am i stayin .. :| .. I knew there was hope as I had read a lot about this phone.

Did some googling again found out the solution is to flash (format) the Nokia N900 to a Global Firmware which has the Skype Preinstalled and working..

After reading several tutorials and how to's and instructions over here at maemo http://wiki.maemo.org/

I tried it out hoping that I wouldn't brick my new phone it worked and the best part is it didn't even took like more than 10 minutes to do the actual process

So here is the actual process for windows xp
(Disclaimer: Do it at your own risk and follow up to date instructions at http://wiki.maemo.org/ )

Download Vanilla MMC Image that would be :RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin and rename it to mmc.bin
Download Global Firmware PR 1.3 that would be: RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin and rename it to globalfw.bin
Download Flasher 3.5 and install it and run it.
Make Sure the Battery on your N900 is full and all of your data on it is backed up which means everything.
Switch off the Phone.
Hold the "u" button on the keyboard and connect the USB cable to the computer and then to phone while holding the button. If you have done it right a dim Nokia sign will appear on screen and a USB icon on the top right hand side of the screen.
Now type in these commands in your flasher window :flasher-3.5.exe -F mmc.bin -f
You will recieve confirmation for the mmc being flashed as Image(s) flashed successfully in 26.848 s (8982 kB/s)! on the flasher
Now take unplug the USB power down or take out the battery and put it back in do not reboot(Restart) the N900 yet, connect it to the computer again while switched off by pressing the "u" key.
Now to Flash the firmware enter this command:flasher-3.5.exe -F globalfw.bin -f
When it is done you will recieve a confirmation on flash now switch on

And there you go ,We've got Skype on our phones pre-installed.

The Most Boring Eid Ever Again

September 11 2010 also 9/11 , Today it was Eid Ul Fitr here in India , and by far this has been the most boring Eid ever to my knowledge..

So here'z how the day has been goin till now.. Woke up early in the morning cleaned up my house , took a shower , dressed up and went for Eid Prayer , came back home slept , till a colleague invited me to lunch , planned to go there , what happens bike wouldn't start , what happened same old shitty problem with it as usual , the carborator or what ever it is called got filled up with water , i still have no idea how that happens or how the hell does water gets inside , even after covering the fuel tank.. its a freakin mystery to me..

so been alone all day .. nothing to do .. then just to read up all my reader subscriptions, Finally.
made a short video to remind myself in the future how boring this day was , would make another video for youtube as well if i feel like there still more to rant about it ..

This is the second Eid in bangalore which has gone bummer..
Now questions to be answered ... why did this happen .. hmmm why didn't I go home ..

it is simple I've joined IBM Daksh and am being trained till the next week or so , after that I'll be in training again .. so one of the reason's why I didn't go anywhere this eid .. well now thinking of it I could've gone to Mumbai as i had a waste holiday on friday since eid wasn't on friday I could've easily been there for eid and came back by sunday , but whatever I guess I wanted it to be this way , now why didn't i go home .. hmm

well brothers are there , and all the other relatives bla bla.. bt seriously get a plane just for eid and for one single day , spending almost 12-15k just to meet up people , I would rather be alone and buy myself a new ipod touch 4th gen if i had the option to spend that money elsewhere .. besides that mom n dad weren't there either...

It's 750 PM --> forgot the time .. this stupid blogpost made me forget that i was cooking pasta and it got burned up damn .. talk about a bad day ..

coming back to time.. i say Eid Mubarak to all of you .. and hope you all have a better eid than me ..
