There is plently of entertainment happening around the Lake this weekend – and Fireworks at Sport Island Pub on Sunday.

Sunday is also the ring of fire. Everyone around the lake lights bonfires on their beaches – it is quite a sight.

Every year local businesses hire live music and put the bands on boats just off Sand Island on the Great Sacandaga Lake. Hundreds of boats show up to listen. This year’s band will be the New Shoes band. New Shoes is a fun 3-Piece Blues-Rock band bringing you the best in the styles of Stevie Ray, Kenny Wayne, Jonny Lang, Tinsley Ellis, and all those other groovy guitar slingers.

There is no cost to attend – and so much fun!
