Jacob & Stephanie’s Engagement

Jacob & Stephanie. Ahhh this couple is a couple that would make you feel right at home. One that you can connect with from the start like a best friend. When Jen had met them over coffee, she had come back from the meeting saying ” I love these two alot and I think you will too Chris”. When I was able to finally meet them at the session she was right.

Jacob & Stephanie have that certain something that, like I said above make you feel like you have been BFF’s like forever. From the start they have such a playful sense of humor and were cracking us up to, which at times i couldn’t even take a picture of them cause I was laughing so hard. I dig that. We walked around downtown and ended over in Capitol Park.

I can’t say it enough we had a blast with them. Jacob & Stephanie you two are seriously awesome people. Enjoy these few teaser pics from the session and we will be sharing the rest with you shortly. :)

Martha’s Surprise Party

Last week Jen ventured out and photographed a surprise party for a family she has known since she was a little kid. Her dad works with them in the ministry area, and Bud ( Martha’s Husband ) wanted to surprise her with all the family coming to dinner and celebrating her birthday together.

He did such a great job cause all the family showed up and waited till Bud and Martha showed up and she was floored. She ended up crying cause she was so happy to see everyone. Such a great moment. It was a great time to capture. Bud & Martha enjoy these teaser pics from the evening. Can’t wait to share the rest with you.

Chad & Taylor’s Engagement Session

Let me tell you of a couple. A couple that is fun. A couple that is cool. A couple that is funny. Who could this be you ask? Well I’ll tell you who this is, its Chad & Taylor duhhhh. ;) These two are so much fun and I know I say that alot about our couples but its true. We have alot of fun with our couples.

Chad & Taylor came to their session looking sweet and cute and just ready to have fun. From the very beginning of the session they were cracking us up and you know when you meet someone for the first time and you just click, that was them. Chad & Taylor you two are rockstars. The Williams Family

Last week I was able to photograph one of our good friends kids and grandparents The Williams. We have been friends with them for years. Its crazy to think that when we first met our kids were so tiny, and now look at them they have grown up so quick. I swear that when I blink that they grow up that fast.

I ventured up to Georgetown where they live, and we went to this beautful nature area about a 1/2 mile away. We walked around and allowed the kids and their grandparents to hang out and enjoy each other. I found out from Tezra that the kids grandparents have never had their photos taken and that was so worth being a part of this, and this was a gift from Tezra. So cool.

I had a great time with them and they were so nice after that we went back to their house and they made dinner and had be stay with them, plus who can say no to pulled pork tacos. Not this guy!! Tezra and the rest of the fam, enjoy this teaser cause I can’t wait to share the rest with you very soon.

The Donnel Wedding

5, 4, 3, 2, 1………..BOOM!!! Its is officially wedding season here and we couldn’t be more stoked to start our 2012 year with Jason and Ashley. We so so love these two. They have cool style. They have awesome attitudes, and they are just plain awesome. Jen and I got really excited for their wedding cause the place where the wedding was going to be held at was bonkers.

Willow Creek Events in Brownsville is where its at!!!! This place is HUGE and so beautiful. The place is run by a amazing couple and they do pretty much all the getting ready of the place. Its quite amazing and even more amazing in person. The scenery and trees and natural area that surrounds the venue is breath taking and it totally fit into Jason and Ashley’s vision for their wedding.

We met them up there early in the day and began a amazing day with them. The wedding party was tons of fun to hang out with, the friends and family there were full of energy and the weather and day was perfect. Jason and Ashley we couldn’t have asked for a better couple to start out or 2012 wedding season with. We can’t wait to share teh rest of the photos from your wedding day with you both soon.

Dario & Stephanie Corporate Headshots

I just love it when we can reconnect with our past clients again and again and capture their special moments in their lives such as a wedding, engagements, family photos and even taking corporate photos for their job and business is fun. It gives us another time to hangout, have fun, chat it up a bit and catch up in each others lives. Last week I got to reconnect with Dario & Stephanie Carmona, one of our couples from the beginning when our business was starting to take off a bit.

From the Engagement Session with them in San Francisco, we LOVED them. They are such a down to earth, fun couple, and now I got to take some corporate photos for them. We met up downtown at a great wine bar & Lounge called 58 degrees. We walked all around Midtown and had a great time and ended the evening with a glass of wine and some great conversation. Dario & Stephanie every time we get the chance to hang out with you both its just a awesome time. Enjoy the teaser here of the session. We will share the rest with you soon. :)

The Duerksen Family

Its always fun when we get the opportunity to capture a family in their essassence at home, or together at a park, or watching movies or whatever it is they like to do together. Its just fun to see a family hang out and do what they love to do together. Capturing those moments is pretty rad. One such family that I got to capturre last week was The duerksen Family. We have known them for quite some time and we were in a bible study with them for a while too.

I met up with them at their home and began capturing them as a family in the backyard playing and hanging with them and then going inside and watching them play together with video games and fun times in the living room. Its cool I think. The day was great and I had a really fun time with them. Enjoy this teaser from their session everyone!
