Hello friend,

The Irene Method is one effective way to treat visual perception disorders. This method uses color to create a more harmonized world. You may have heard of these methods if anyone has ever suggested using a color filter over the page when reading to be able to read better and more quickly. This method is proven to work, and if your autistic child is at the maturity level of reading, you may want to try these color filters to see if there is a difference in speed and comprehension. However, it is more likely that your autistic child will benefit from color filters during the entire day, not just when reading. Special glasses have been made using colored lenses to conquer this problem. Not every child responds the same way to every color, so it is a process of trial and error to find out which color is the one blocking the harmful light. You can also choose to use colored light bulbs in your home to help autistic individuals with their visual perception problems.

This method mainly helps children in 4 areas: depth perception, social interaction, learning, and physical well being. The colors help the child determine how far he or she is from an object, and the world becomes more three-dimensional, helping depth perception. Social interaction also improves because the child feels as though he or she is in a calmer world and can more clearly see and interpret facial expressions. The colors make it possible to learn, especially when reading, and overall, the child will feel better, because it helps reduce headaches and dizziness. By testing this technique and others to help visual perception problems, you can help your child better cope with the world and his or her autism.

SAP is it ERP …? Yes correct .. but not totally correct if you talk SAP is part of ERP Software (Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and SAP is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software product capable of integrating multiple business applications, with each application representing a specific business area. These applications update and process transactions in real time mode. It has the ability to be configured to meets the needs of the business. But ERP is not (only) SAP

Reporter vs Expert - Why Most Bloggers Are Stuck Reporting

There are basically two types of bloggers in the world - reporters and experts - and some people perform both roles (usually the experts, it's hard for reporters to become experts, but it's easy for experts to report).

If you have ever taken an Internet marketing course or attended a seminar specifically for beginners, you have probably heard about the two different methodologies. Whenever the business model is based on content, and if you blog for money then the model is based on content, people are taught to either start as reporters, or if possible step up as experts.

I'll be frank; you want to be the expert.

Reporters leverage the content of the experts and in most cases people start off as reporters because they haven't established expertise. Experts enjoy the perks of preeminence, higher conversion rates because of perceived value, it's easier to get publicity, people are more likely to seek you out rather than you having to seek others out, joint ventures come easier, etc… experts in most cases simply make more money and attract more attention.

Most Bloggers Are Reporters

The thing with expertise is that it requires something - experience. No person becomes an expert without doing things and learning. Bloggers usually start out without expertise and as a result begin their blogging journey by talking about everything going on in their niche (reporting) and by interviewing and talking about other experts (reporting again).

There's nothing wrong with reporting of course and for many people it's a necessity at first until you build up some expertise. Unfortunately the ratios are pretty skewed when it comes to reporters and experts - there are a lot more reporters than there are experts, hence reporters tend to struggle to gain attention and when they do, they often just enhance the reputation of the expert they are reporting on.

Don't Replicate Your Teacher

If you have ever spent some time browsing products in the learn Internet marketing niche you will notice a pattern. Many people first study Internet marketing from a "guru" (for lack of a better term). The guru teaches how he or she is able to make money online, and very often the view that the student gleams is that in order to make money online you have to teach others how to make money online.

The end result of this process is a huge army of amateurs attempting to replicate what their teacher does in the same industry - the Internet marketing industry - not realizing that without expert status based on a proven record and all the perks that come with it, it's next to impossible to succeed.

Even people, who enjoy marginal success, say for example growing an email list of 1,000 people, then go out and launch a product about how to grow an email list of 1,000 people. Now I have no problems with that, I think it's fine to teach beginners and leverage whatever achievements you have, the problem is that people gravitate to the same niche - Internet marketing - and rarely have any key points of differentiation.

How many products out there do you know of that all claim to teach the same things - email marketing, SEO, pay per click, affiliate marketing, and all the sub-niches that fall under the category of Internet marketing. It's a saturated market, yet when you see your teachers and other gurus making money teaching others how to make money (and let's face it - making money as a subject is one of the most compelling) - your natural inclination is to follow in their footsteps.

If the key is to become an expert and you haven't spent the last 5-10 years making money online, I suggest you look for another niche to establish expertise in.

Report on Your Process, Not Others

The secret to progress from reporter to expert is not to focus on other experts and instead report on your own journey. When you are learning how to do something and implementing things day by day, or studying other people's work, you need to take your process and what you do as a result of what you learn, and use it as content for your blog.

It's okay to talk about experts when you learn something from them, but always relate it to what you are doing. If you learn a technique from an expert it's fine to state you learned it from them (and affiliate link to their product too!) but you should then take that technique, apply it to what you are doing and then report back YOUR results, not there's. Frame things using your opinion - your stories - and don't regurgitate what the expert said. The key is differentiation and personality, not replication.

Expertise comes from doing things most people don't do and then talking about it. If you do this often enough you wake up one day as an expert, possibly without even realizing how it happened, simply because you were so good at reporting what you did.

You Are Already An Expert

Most people fail to become experts (or perceived as experts) because they don't leverage what they already know. Every person who lives a life learns things as they go, takes action every day and knows something about something. The reason why they never become an expert is because they choose not to (which is fine for some, not everyone wants to be an expert), but if your goal is to blog your way to expertise and leave the world of reporting behind you have to start teaching and doing so by leveraging real experience.

Experience can come from what you do today and what you have done previously; you just need to take enough steps to demonstrate what you already know and what you are presently learning along your journey. I know so many people in my life, who are experts simply by virtue of the life they have lived, yet they are so insecure about what they know, they never commit their knowledge to words for fear of…well fear.

Blogs and the Web in general, are amazing resources when you leverage them as a communication tool to spread your expertise because of the sheer scope of people they can reach. If all you ever do is talk to people in person and share your experience using limited communication mediums, you haven't much hope of becoming an expert. Take what you know and show other people through blogging, and you might be surprised how people change their perception of you in time.

Reporting Is A Stepping Stone

If your previous experience and expertise is from an area you want to leave behind or you are starting from "scratch", then reporting is the path you must walk, at least for the short term.

Reporting is a lot of fun. Interviewing experts, talking about what other people are doing and just being part of a community is not a bad way to blog. In many cases people make a career of reporting (journalism is about just that), but if you truly want success and exponential results, at some point you will have to stand up and proclaim yourself as someone unusually good at something and then proceed to demonstrate it over and over again.

Have patience and focus on what you do to learn and then translate that experience into lessons for others, and remember, it's okay to be a big fish in a small pond, that's all most experts really are.

How to make user feel comfort with new system ..? do you need any subsystem for your Accpac ERP ?, all these question can you use as user feedback or questionnaire, once you have decided change from old to new system you will get any resistant from users or problem during it.

You can making a simple questionnaire form that cover major task problem , such as user complained that since using accpac ERP if they had making error Purchase Order it's difficult to revision , don't blame users you have to accommodation complains and making an evaluation and adjustment, event accpac not big as SAP but you will be amazing with this product.

Backup backup and Backup don’t take risk lose your teeth

Sam is my friend he just fired with his Boss because he can't restore back the important database company …!, I am so surprised why sam not take high priority about Backup making Disaster Data Recovery Plan , I listen sam story until finished I want to know the history why he can't restore the important database.

As Database administrator we must take high priority for Backup Plan , this backup plan not only doing daily backup database but also consider with major risk or problem, I suggested making a check list about all items that should be backup include hardware and location to keep save a backup data, don't look a simple about backup , if you have a critical data you have to make a good plan about data recovery

Different method using Database Dump

Accpac provide tools to backup database called database dump, backup is very important action that have todo by Accpac Administrator, I don't talk much more about why we must have backup . Database Dump extracts data from a Sage Accpac ERP database and then stored or loaded into Accpac ERP database ,

To run DBDUMP ( Database dump ) below the steps ;

You can log in to your accpac and choose start from administrative service (database dump) ( Admin right) ->( this only backup one company)
Or from the Windows Start Menu, choose Sage Accpac/Tools/Database Dump or click the Database Dump icon. -> (if you choose this you can easy DBDUMP multiple company).
Type the ADMIN password for Sage Accpac ERP, then click OK.
Select the database for the data to be extracted. (Database Dump finds the database list from the SharedData entry in the Windows registry.)
Click the Set Directory button, then enter the folder where you want to put the extracted data files (called datasets). Database Dump creates a control file with filename extension ".DCT" in the folder you specify, and puts the actual extracted data in a subfolder of the same name as the DCT. The default location of the folder is \\Sage Accpac\Runtime.

The name of the control file is the database ID with the ".DCT" extension.

Click the Dump button to proceed.
if you choose from Administrative Service you can only selected active company

Note: You must retain both the control file and its associated subfolder when storing extracted data.

Tips: For easy tracking I suggested to making filename with date eq. 01022008

I discussed with accpac core team and lucky that mr herry (he is an expert guy for Accpac ERP and nice guy J …, he told that he had same experienced problem, he said although we used a database editor and deleted entry from POPORH1 and POPORH2 this still can not .., Using Tools RVSPY just point to POPORH …Hmmm this is new experience for me J you can see his face herry- san normally I use RVSPY as a best tools but for this kind problem can't work L.

So what the solutions …I asked him , oke lets play with a database editor my friend said, we open a database editor and deleted POPORI and ….abrakadabra…the problem solved…. J, I attached mr herry photo above …he working as Technical Consultant for Accpac at Indonesia ( Microtek Jakarta), by the way ...this problem was occurred while setup option cost item during using day end processing not use posting, so please check it your LAN connection and electrical voltage...

Today I got error when running Day End Processing on Sage Accpac ERP 5.4 A, I have try to use Maintenace with check data integrity but not solved, system said that Description internal error, document total mismatch ( 1986 POPORZ1.C).

I have to solve tomorrow , does any body has experienced of this kind error ???

Today I am surprised when checked automatically windows update I have found my windows XP Pro has service pack 3, I have heard since last month about service pack 3 for windows XP that only limited for MSDN and Technet Subscribers, but now Microsoft already launched for public.

Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) provides new proactive security technologies for Windows XP to better defend against viruses, worms, and hackers along with increased manageability and an improved experience for users.

Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 fixes a range of bugs in Windows XP. It doesn't matter what XP updates you have previously applied to your system, SP3 will update any unpatched, partially patched or completely updated system (it includes all previously released patches and updates). XP SP3 fixes the security holes so you won't get attacked.

Microsoft periodically combines updates, fixes, and other improvements into a single package - Service Pack. If your company has ISO (Internation Standard for Management Quality) you will need insert to your PO (Purchase Order) Form, this situation very simple step if you work with Crystal Report ( I am user CR XI) as attached pictures you can see Logo ( you can use any logo ) and inserted as OLE object in Crystal Report XI, from Design you can drag the object (logo) and edit it.

If you have face out this error you can solve with do Administrative Service , you need choose and click Maintenance option in Accpac menu. This because you or maybe users do the Export or Import Item, usually from Excell and load to Accpac system and not successfully for resolve this error you have tobe trained as Accpac System Administrator or at least you have trained to be familiar Inventory Control Module Accpac, if you sure what you face off you can try using menu Maintenance and check data integrity...

Google is planning the creation of a 3D oceanographic map, ostensibly called
Google Ocean, that should allow people to visualize underwater topography,
locate specific sites or attractions, and use pan and zoom functions to
navigate the environment. Oceanographers say such a tool would be very
helpful, given the lack of an oceanographic terrain or depth model in Google
Earth. Tim Haverland with NOAA's Fisheries Service notes that "you can't get
in a submarine and in essence fly through the water and explore ocean
canyons yet." The project could potentially encourage more collaboration and
advance oceanographic research. Sources familiar with the matter say Google
Ocean will include a basic layer that displays the sea floor's depth and
will function as a spatial framework for additional information. Scripps
Institution of Oceanography professor Dave Sandwell theorizes that Scripps'
Predicted Depth Map will be a source for at least some of Google Ocean's
basic sea floor data. He and others speculate that Google will probably
enhance the sea floor's clarity through the utilization of high-resolution
grids from oceanographic institutions showing the depths of select regions
of the seas. "Tiles" from multibeam and predicted topography gathered by
Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory also could be used as
a supply of Google Ocean data, although LDEO professor William B.F. Ryan
says that "Google would have to put the tiles on their servers because their
public of millions would bring the servers at Columbia University to their
knees."

Editorial - The Exceptional DBA: Soft Skills

Towards the end of my previous editorial on the "hard skills" required of an exceptional DBA, I threw in a mention of the "formidable" DBA job ad. Nobody really picked up on it, but I thought it might be fun to ferret out a few. Here's one for starters:

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS (Mandatory)

SQL Server 2005
Administrative experience of Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003
Replication
Stored Procedures
DTS packages/SSIS
Reporting Services
MS Office (particularly Excel)

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS (Desirable)

Microsoft Clustering
ISP / e-commerce hosting experience
Salesforce
ITIL/SDLC knowledge
MCDBA (Microsoft certified Database Administrator)

The role description was a rollercoaster ride through large scale databases, clustering, replication log shipping, advanced performance analysis, availability, capacity, security, manageability, database design, coding, and data transfer, with a bit of MySQL thrown in just to be on the safe side. Is it me, or is this "cover all possible bases" approach to the DBA job spec a little unrealistic? If this spec is the norm, then I would tend to agree with James Rea, who commented last time that rather than specialize, it was better to know something about everything and be very, very good at research! If anyone has some more-extreme examples, please send them in.

Now on to the main purpose of this editorial which is to put right the "shocking" omission of "human skills" from the editorial to this point, although I actually believe a lot of this has already come out through the discussion:

Positive attitude / easy to get along with – this is arguably the most important soft skill of the lot. As David Poole very succinctly put it: if people will voluntarily use you as the first point of contact for database information rather than the last, then you are probably an exceptional DBA.

Communication skills– this comes up time and time again. The exceptional DBA must communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, managers, customers and developers, to name just a few.

Business Skills – As Jeff Moden put it: understanding the why (the underlying business reasons) as well as the what.

Mentoring / Teaching– the exceptional DBA must be willing to teach others what he knows, whether this be through mentoring a junior DBA, participating in forums, speaking at conferences

Project Management and Time Management – if the average job spec is anything like quoted here, these skills must be absolutely vital. I'd be interested to hear about any specific resources that you, as a DBA, have found useful in this regard.

So what have I missed out? Let me know! Once again, I'd like to thanks everyone for contributing to this editorial series.
