Tameer Microfinance Bank and Telenor Pakistan made another addition to the bouquet of easypaisa services with the launch of ‘International Home Transfer’ in collaboration with Xpress Money, UK.

This service adds on international home remittances receiving facility in Pakistan.

Detail "International Home Transfer"
Using Easypaisa International Home Remittance, you can now receive money from family and friends from over 80 countries through our Sending Partners. You do not have to own a Telenor connection, nor do you need to have a mobile phone at all. The best thing about the services is that any person in Pakistan can use this product, no registration is required and it is completely free.

Product Features

No fee is applicable on receiving funds through easypaisa international Home Transfer service.
Any person with a valid CNIC can receive money
This service is not limited to Telenor subscribers; you don't even need a mobile phone.
There is no paperwork or form filling requirement.
No more waiting in queues - remittance can be collected even at late hours or on Saturdays.

Approve by the Stat Bank of Pakistan

How It Works:
In order to collect on easypaisa International Home Transfer transactions, the sender has to use one of our sending partners.

Sender visits any Xpress money sending Agent in a foreign country, fills out a form and hands over the amount to be sent. Sender needs to write down the full name of the recipient as it appears on his/her CNIC.
Xpress Money will generate a unique Transaction ID and give it to the Sender.
Sender will communicate the transaction IF to the Receiver through a secured channel.
Receiver visits any Telenor Franchise, Sales & Services Center or Tameer Bank branch with his/her original CNIC and Transaction ID.
Receiver can than collect his/her money along with Receipt.

Telenor works with a number of Sending Partners all over the world. Each of our Sending Partners covers a unique geographic footprint. We are constantly working on adding more partners, to increase coverage and convenience for our customers.

Telenor Pakistan creates “magic box” of mobile services

Telenor Pakistan has introduced new technology around the country to make their mobile services available to most Pakistani people.

Telenor Pakistan is making sure that mobile services are always close at hand for the people of Pakistan. The company has launched a programme called “Sahulat Ghar” (meaning home of convenience) to expand its retail offerings across the country. Both telecom and non-telecom retailers selected for this programme are given a branded kiosk outfitted with a “magic box”. This box supplies them with equipment to meet the mobile phone needs of Telenor Pakistan subscribers.
“In the world’s sixth most populous country, it is increasingly important to offer programmes that reach customers throughout Pakistan. Our goal with Sahulat Ghar is to bring convenience to customers by offering them a range of mobile services right at their doorstep,” said Malik Faisal Qayyum, Director Sales & Distribution, Telenor Pakistan.

First industry initiative of its kind
Sahulat Ghar is the first industry initiative of its kind and a significant step towards bringing mobile services to more people across the country, no matter their location. Each magic box contains a touch-screen laptop, a scanner, a printer, a biometric device and a smart card reader to read SIM data.

With the magic box Sahulat Ghar retailers are suddenly a fully-equipped mobile outlet ready to offer a range of products and services. Each retailer is trained to operate the equipment and is given access to a helpline for all their support needs.

1,000 more Sahulat Ghar shops coming soon
Telenor Pakistan has so far opened 160 Sahulat Ghar retail locations in various parts of the country. By offering these services, retailers enjoy a boost in business due to increased customer traffic. Telenor Pakistan intends to launch up to 1,000 more magic box-equipped outlets over the next six months.
