Philosophy or Teachings
Sai baba of shirdi was the great saint, who was also known as Guru, Fakir. He always works for the betterment of his devotees and want to bring confidence among his devotees who were looking for the salvation. He always tries to aware people about the divine power. People are blessed who are following sai baba teachings.

The two main principles which sai baba taught are “Shraddha” and “Saburi”. Baba always wants that all his devotees do understand these principles and follow the same. Following are the teachings and philosophies of sai baba of shirdi:

Shraddha
‘Shraddha’ means faith with love and reverence. Baba always taught his devotees to have shraddha with love on god. He said shraddha is a gateway to remove all the sorrow and to solve all the problems. Baba explain this by reiterated the guidance of shri Krishna to arjun in which shri Krishna said to arjun “whosoever will offer me a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water with love or devotion, that love is readily accepted by me”.

Saburi
Saburi means patience. Baba asked all his devotees to have patience in every situations, he said saburi is the key to all the success and is the only way one can reach to the goal of his life.

Purity
Baba said it doesn’t mean purity of body but it is the purity of the soul i.e. inner purity he says no matter people make their physical appearance clean and pure but if there mind and heart is not pure nothing is going to serve them, so baba always asked his devotee to keep their heart, mind clean and pure .

Compassion
Baba taught to be humble with everybody who comes to you than it can be a human being or animal and also ask devotee to “Never turn anybody from the door who comes to you”.

Complete surrender to the Guru
Guru is one who gives guideline in order to live life with peace and reached the path of devotions and reaches the goal of life. Baba said “this body is my house. I am not here. My Guru has taken me away”.

Sai Baba’s teaching through ‘Udi’ and ‘Dakshina’

Udi:
Udi was produce from the fire which was lit by sai baba in dwarkamai at shirdi which later on known as “dhuni”. With the help of udi baba tried to explain that like udi everything is going to pass away once, and ask the devotees to understand the difference between the real and unreal.

Dakshina:
By demanding ‘dakshina’ baba tries to explain the sense of non-attachment or vairagya.

Sai baba of shirdi was a great guru, fakir. He dedicates his whole life for the betterment for the devotees. Baba always used to say “My leela is inscrutable”. There were plenty of miracles of sai baba; out of all here are some of few miracles:

Sai Baba’s Miracles

Lighting Lamps with water
This is the miracle of sai baba when he used to live in the masjid in shirdi, where baba used to lit earthenware lamp in the masjid and other temple and for lighting sai baba needed oil, which baba used to brought from the grocers in shirdi but later on that grocer was tired of giving oil free to sai baba so he said no and baba return to masjid without saying anything to that grocer and baba lit the lamp by pouring water into the lamp and the lamp burnt into the midnight.

Premonition of Burning fields
Once when Sai Baba was in Shirdi and all the food grain after harvesting was stored in yard. That time the summer was brutal. One day in noon sai baba called kondaji sutar and asked him to rush to his field as the field was in fire. Kondaji was shocked and ran to the field but when he reached to the field. He didn’t find any fire so he returned to sai baba. Baba asked him to look it again and by luck he saw that a part of corn was indeed a fire and smoke was at it beginning to billow from it, so he asked sai baba to help him and baba sprinkled some water and fire got extinguished.

Stooping the Rain
One day when one of the devotees name Rao Badhur Moreshwar Pradhan’s wife came to have sai baba darshan, when there were about to leave heavy rain started and seeing them in trouble sai baba pray to god to calm down and rain after some time was calm down and couple were able to reach to their destination without any trouble.

Raising the water level in well
During the early stage of sai baba to shirdi there were no basic facilities so for the villager it became difficult to fetch water as there was one well but that well was just for the name. when on Ramnavmi, the villager were celebrating the sai baba birthday on that day sai baba showered some leave into the well and raise the level of water into the well.

Thousands of Sai Baba devotees from all over the world come to have the Darshan of great saint “shri saibaba”. If we see in numbers daily almost 25000 devotes come to visit shirdi and during the festival seasons more than 100,000 devotees visit temple. There are many important places inside and nearby the shirdi temple complexe which every devotee should visit.

Places to visit around and in shirdi temple:

Khanoba Mandir
Khanoba mandir is the heart of the shirdi as khanoba temple is the place where saibaba stayed for the first time when baba steps in to shirdi for the first time with the wedding party. Mhalsapati who was the temple priest, gretted saibaba with the name “ya sai!” which mean welcome Sai. This temple is located at the main road and banyan tree is there at the entrance where the Sai bullock cart halted.

Gurursthan Mandir
“Gurusthan” itself mean the place of the guru. This is the place where baba spends most of his time when he entered into the shirdi and meditates. Also as per Saibaba this is the place of baba own guru.

Samadhi Mandir
On 18 October 1918 on Tuesday Baba took the Samadhi and this is the place where Baba body is resting in Samadhi. This is the place where all the day to day Puja, Arti is performed. One gets the mental peace just entering into the Samadhi Mandir. The Samadhi is built with white marble stones and Baba’s statue is made up of Italian marble. The Mandir is so pure that one can feel the presence of Baba in the Mandir.

Dwarkamai
Dwarkamai is the place where Sai Baba was there till the very end of his life. Here Baba lit the fire and used to solve the problems of devotee and used to give the Udi (ash) to their devotee in order to heal their problems.

Chavadi
Chavadi is the place where Saibaba used to go to sleep and used to visit the same frequently. There is a wooden bed where Baba used to sleep but in that room women’s are not allowed to enter.

Legend garden
This garden is the place where Baba used to come every day and used to give water in garden. Baba also lit lamp which was placed between two tress Saibaba planted which later on known as Nanda Deep.

The original post is on Shirdi Sai Baba Live Darshan | Watch Live Broadcasting From Shridi Sai Baba Samadhi
Saibaba of shirdi was born with a divine soul and later on people greeted Sai Baba with the name of Guru, Fakir. The devotees of him include both Hindu and Muslim, every community claimed that Sai Baba belongs to them but nothing has proved.

His real name was unknown, even nobody knows about the birth and birth place of Baba but as per disciple Das Ganu, after doing little bit of research he said Saibaba grew up in Pathri (is a city in Prabhani district in Indian state of Maharashtra) with one fakir and his wife later on at the age of 5 fakir’s wife put Saibaba in care of saintly name Desmukh Venkusha, where Baba lived for several years.

He came to Shirdi (small town in west-India in Maharashtra) when he was 16 year old and used to sit under the tree and meditate whole day. There were some religious person who used to visit Saibaba daily namely Mahalsapati, Appa Jogle and kashinatha but Sai Baba that time stayed for three years and then was disappeared and came again in Shirdi for permantely in 1858.There after he lived in Shirdi only.

The name “Sai” to Baba was given by the people live in Shirdi. The word “Sai” itself mean in Sanskrit “Sakshat Ishwar” and “Divine Soul”. Mahalsapati, who was the temple priest has recognized Saibaba as a Muslim saint and greeted the word ‘Ya Sai!’ which mean “Welcome Sai”. Baba used to sit under the neem tree. He lived under the tree for four to five years and then went to one old mosque where they lived a very solitary life.

In that mosque Saibaba maintained a sacred fire which later on known as Dhuni and the ashes of that fire is known as Bhabuti which used to give to the devotee who come to Baba and that Bhabuti work as a healing power to all the devotees.

After 1910 Sai Baba fame started spreading to Mumbai and the first temple was built at Bhivpuri, Karjat. Hemadpant who is one of the devotees wrote the book name “Shri Sai Satcharitra”. This is a very well known book.

In India Saibaba was very popular saint but was worshipped by the people all over the world later on. He always used to say two words “Sabka Malik Ek” which mean every person on this earth is having only one god & “Allah Malik” which mean god is the king of all.

They always taught only few things: internal peace, forgiveness, helps other, believe in god. Sai Baba always ask his devotee to keep two things “Shradha” (faith, have trust) and “Saburi” (patience).

The original post is on Shirdi Sai Baba Live Darshan | Watch Live Broadcasting From Shridi Sai Baba Samadhi
