The first Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) that ever hit the Philippines! Despite the game being first launched in this country last 2003. It is still growing strong, even with some new game rivals.

RO, as it is more commonly known among the locals, has a variety of maps in it that leads to different types and levels of monsters. Depending on how strong your character is, you must know which place to go to avoid encountering a monster that is aggressive, or if you're unlucky, a boss monster.

Though going solo has its advantages, it is still best to have partner or a party with you in order to ensure your character's survival. Various equipment can be added to your character for it to be stronger, faster, or more supportive.

With so many jobs that you are starting, a novice, can choose from, you'll need to pick one first before attempting to fix the status of your novice.

RO gets updated most of the time, whether with new job classes, or new places to go, for sure that it will really offer something intriguing that you just don't want to miss. The best time to play and enjoy the game happens to be the Christmas season, since it's the time where RO either gets generous enough to give more experience points, or perhaps give the players a chance to receive a limited edition equipment - most being headgears.

There's no doubt about it, this is one game that a lot of people enjoy playing, and never get tired of as each day passes. Once bitten by the RO bug, it's hard to get it cured.

Ayumi Nonomura is a very shy girl who hopes of breaking out of her shell now that she has stepped into high school life. Her sweet and innocent face always attracts not only the boys but also the girls. Tatsuki Iidzuka is from head to toe a sophisticated young lady. Daughter of a rich businessman, Tatsuji has been attending the same academy ever since her primary years. She's a no-nonsense girl and would always try to rationalize things.

Suzume Saotome is a girl of little speech. She possesses amazing strength and a more amazing appetite. Despite being a food-lover, her physique is like that of a child and she would often worry about not having a proper feminine body.

Torako Kageyama is a funny and playful mischief-maker. She always has a tendency to break the rules even without trying. She leads the other three into her own troubles but she (nor they) doesn't seem to mind it that much (except for Tatsuki whom she always argues with.)

If you liked the nutty Lucky Star series, then you might want to try out Hyakko, a 13-episode slice-of-life comedy series created by Haruki Katou. Randomness is the name of the game and references to popular anime and celebrities pop up every now and then. Despite being a non-linear series, every episode makes sure that something about out four main characters is explored thus, adding color to their personalities bit by bit.

Heading the seiyu cast is Aya Hirano who plays the timid Ayumi, the direct opposite of her leader-type role of Konata in Lucky Star. In addition to playing the lead, Hirano also performs the ending theme of the series. Joining her is Fumiko Orikasa as Torako, Neya Michiko as Tatsuki and Yurika Ochiai as Suzume.

Hyakko is the type of anime you should-watch if you just want to have a good laugh. These girls' antics will surely keep you amused and will make you look forward to their next misadventure.

Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maiden is created by Eri Takenashi and currently has six volumes of manga which went on haitus in 2005. The anime series has thirteen episodes which is handled by the studio A-1 Pictures and is directed by Yutaka Tamamoto (who has taken the position of episode director for well-known series like Kanon, Lucky Star, and Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu).

The main characters Jin and Nagi are played by up and coming seiyuus Hiro Shimono (Ayato Kamina of Rahxephon) and Haruka Tomatsu (Lala Deviluke of To Love Ru) and did an excellent job at portraying their roles. In addition to playing the lead, Tomatsu also performs Kannagi's opening and ending themes.

Overall, the series is centered on the theme of magical comedy with a tinge of romance somewhere at the near end of the story. Kannagi generally maintains a light-hearted atmosphere and is an easily enjoyable series.

Jin Mikuriya is a student who has been living independently due to his father having work overseas. One day, one of his friends gave him part of a sacred tree which had been cut down for the re-adjustment of the land where a shrine is currently built. Out of an artistic spark, Jin creates woodcraft in a shape of a priestess. But upon completion of has "masterpiece," Jin is shocked as he watched his creation move around by itself, much more when out pops a young girl from it!

The girl, who is later named Nagi, is apparently a god who steamed from that fallen shrine tree of the same name. Since her source of power is now gone, Nagi is greatly weakened and cannot practice her duty of exorcising the impurities in the world. But then she finds out that Jin (who conveniently has great affinity to the supernatural) can actually catch these impurities by just using his bare hands. Thus, their journey to cleanse the world has begun. There's more of it by watching the magical comedy anime adventure of Jin and Nagi.

S4 League

A new online game I just played - S4 League. Very cool gameplay that focuses on PVP (Player Versus Player) system. Characters can choose variety of weapons ranging from melee to ranged and defeat their opponents whether by Chaser, Touch Down match, or Team Death Match. In the Chaser game, every player will be chosen as a Chaser randomly and kill all other players with given time limit. And the "not-chaser" people will have to stay alive or kill the Chaser in order to win. Chasers have monstrous power compared to normal players, so you can't take them down easily.

While in the touch down match, kinda like a football match but it involves guns and weapons. Teams will have to score the highest to win. But it would be very difficult to score, considering that each team's defenses are strong.... Team Death Match - pretty obvious. Teams must have the highest kill score with time limit to win.

Pretty cool game huh? It's perfectly made with an anime touch on it which I like the most. You can also dress your character the way you like and change the faces. It has the best graphical effects, so this will be very addictive for everybody. Try the game!

One Manga

One Manga -> This site has been super popular in our place lately, and I'm sure it has been famous at yours too. Why?, simply because they offer free manga resource to everybody. It has been the home of manga for my friends and other manga addictos at my place. The most popular manga that they have in stored are One Piece, Naruto Shippuuden, and Bleach. These manga series are patiently awaited by friends week by week, waiting for the weekly chapters of the manga series to come up... One good advantage you can get from reading manga is that - you can be very updated on the storyline of the anime. In other words, you're already a head start from the animated series. Which is good, you can get all the good feeling on reading ahead and lessens the frustrations. Plus, no fillers on mangas. You can also spoil people who doesn't read the manga. ^_^

The disadvantage would be - It is more thrilling to watch it animated, and all the effects are there (sound effects, voices, and video effects)... and it is more detailed than the manga.

Either ways, both medium will do - the most important thing to consider is how you understand the anime.

It has been really a long time since I started to watch anime episodes in the internet. And I think I should give a little credit of those sites where I watch them. As a sign of appreciation I think it would be nice to mention them a little on this post... anime-media.com and animeseasions.com - these two sites got almost all the best anime series there is, and all of the cool anime I watch is from there. Of course, they do not own the movies but their movies came from social media networks like veoh, myspace, and others. So there's no telling that they're violating copyright law. ^_^ So if you're looking for anime series, try to visit these sites, I'm sure you'll find it there.

One Piece

Never thought I'd be addicted to this anime... first saw it on GMA - a local TV network on Philippines - and really hated it for its despicable tagalog dubbing. The dubbing was cheap and it lacks the perfect emotions on the voices. That's why I wasn't able to watch it all this years. But just this week, when I tried to watch it on Japanese - all my perceptions were changed! I suddenly got addicted to it that it made me sleep late every night. Beats me if have classes on the next days, as long as I can watch Luffy go, then everything is perfect. ^_^

Since I'm so addicted about it, let me give a short glimpse on Luffy:

Monkey D. Luffy, a boy inspired by his childhood hero - "Red-Haired" Shanks. He sets out on an adventure in order to find the legendary "One Piece," for him to become the new Pirate King. But, for this to be accomplished, he must first reach the end of the most dangerous ocean called "The Grand Line."

Luffy is captain of the Straw Hat Pirates through the sea of East Blue, and then through the Grand Line. He follows the path of the deceased Pirate King, Gold Roger, from island to island in search of the great treasure known as One Piece. His crew ranges from a swordsman, a navigator, a sniper, a cook, a doctor, an archeologist, a ship-wright, and a musician, as he journeys through the waters.

New Layout!

I've finally got my own layout for Sai Zone!!. And the best part is, it was designed by me ^_^. I know I'm not good in using photoshop and all, but I like it the most when it's simple... Why color blue? Simply because, blue is an universal color. Meaning, most of the people doesn't hate blue. And of course, for it not to be a girlash blog... Since this is an anime blog, Naruto and Ichigo is my best choice for the header (Considering, of course, that both anime characters are one of the most popular today).

Come to think of it, maybe I can design more layouts for others to download. Heh! A great idea huh? but a hard thing to do ^_^...

My School Got Anime

Team Spirit at its Best - that was the theme for our school's Palakasan 09, and guess what?!? Our college got the 1st place on the over all Palakasan Event. I guess our team was at its best ^_^. Well anyways, I really had a great time being in touch and on watch on the Palakasan, even though I haven't got any part on the 3 big events (Sports, Literary, and Cultural). Cheers for the College of Engineering - Blazing Dragons!!!...

The most interesting thing in the Palakasan that made me awe was the anime characters that represent each colleges on the university. Starting from the left (the girl with a stick), no other than COE - Blazing Dragons, SET - Roaring Tigers, CASS - Transcendental Arachnids, IDS - Stinging Hornets, CSM - Hyper Lynx, CED - Immortal Pheonix, SCS - Fearless Wolves,

and CBA - Mighty Griffins. These characters were made from a student form SCS the School of Computer Studies. They even got it animated, wait til I get a hand of that flash animation. ^_^ Cool huh!? If you want to check on the documented events and results during the Palakasan, you can always go to the official website of the Palakasan 09.

Bara no Maria ( A Brave Heart of Red Rose)

Written by Ai Jyumonji and illustrated by Sunao Misuzu, Bara no Maria is an ongoing fantasy action manga series centered on a young adventurer whose gender is, well, just a wee questionable.

Quiet and calm Maria Rose is a youthful explorer who seems to have trouble stuck on him/her. Firse, she/he gets mixed up on a thug fist fighter after having a punk attempt to pick him/her up simply because of being blessed with a beautiful face. Then, in the course of the fight, Maria accidentally damages a precious antique that costs probably more than his/her life. So little Maria gets a job at exploring an unknown (but seemingly dangerous) cave and doing so will bring lots of money in those little saintly-looking hands. But with such a shady mission, you can be sure things won't be a walk in the park for Maria.

Accompanying Maria is the goofy but well-meaning Katari (who is nicknamed Fish Head because of his, well, head), the handsome and skilled Azian who just can't get enough flirting with our Maria, the courageous fighter Tomato and the shy magician Safina. And the list of our merry band members doesn't end here. Because you can be sure more travelers are hoping to get a look (and hopefully more than that) on a good treasure along with our lovable redhead.

This manga which is also known by its English title, A Brave Heart of Red Rose, had a slow pace in the beginning but gradually picked up some speed in the succeding chapters. Maria Rose's character is enough to get you intrigued (is it "he" or "she"?!) While Azian's amorous moves are to cliche yet remains to be really funny. Geeky Katari's over enthusiasm is perhaps contagious, and then there's Safina's constantly trembling speech that has its own weird charm.

In general, Bara No Maria is an amusing manga series that is a good read for young adult readers.

Phew... that was a very excruciating experience... to have lost your PR in spite all the effort you've done to gain it... Thank God now it's back, as promised on my previous post, I will do my best to take care of this blog...

To tell you the truth, I was really disappointed about myself, I felt down and decided to never visit this blog again. But as time heals (char), I've got a chance to visit again and there it was, the green small bar at the top of the screen... ^_^ Delighted, happy, and relieved.. Thanks to Mr.G

I've totally lost it, and I admit it's my fault. Because of my laziness and lack of care for this blog, and now, I've lost my PR. Regrets fill my thoughts right now, but that doesn't mean I'm leaving this blog for good. Instead, continue to optimize it to retrieve my PR. I just hope Google will give me another chance and I PROMISE to take care of this blog. T_T

Naruto Shippuuden - Kakashi Chronicles

Kakashi Chronicles, also known as Kakashi Gaiden entitled 'The Battlefield of a Boy's Life' is a 2 episode back to the past of Kakashi's life with his team (the Forth Hokage, Rin and Obito Uchiha.) These episodes answers many questions about Kakashi's past, how Kakashi got his Sharingan, the identity of Obito, and when Kakashi became a Jounin. It also gives a first glimpse of who the Yondaime was and his abilities, when he was still alive.

The story revolves when Kakashi was just 13 years old, he just turned Jounin when the Third Great Shinobi War began. The 13-year old Kakashi isn't really the present Kakashi you know (in terms with personality). He was a perfectionist person who was stuck to rules and regulations which annoys Obito much (happens to have slight same personality with Naruto.) During their great mission on the Shinobi war, Rin happened to be kid-napped by the enemy for interrogation. Kakashi on the other hand, showed no concern of his comrade. He decided to continue the mission without Rin. Obito tells Kakashi he is going after Rin but Kakashi, as the team captain, decides that they should complete their mission. Obito then hits Kakashi telling him his father was a true hero when he decided to protect his friends. Obito then goes off on his own to save Rin while Kakashi walks the opposite way.

Kakashi was brought to his conscience of Obito's words and head back to save Rin. They found the hideout where they hid Rin and encountered the enemy with the camouflage jutsu. Kakashi was badly hit on the left eye, while Obito finishes the fight with his newly activated sharingan. They manage to save Rin with their teamwork but the enemy destroyed the cave and falling rocks are all over. Obito pushes Kakashi from the falling rock and hit him instead of Kakashi. The entire right side of Obito's body was totally crushed. Mortally wounded and knowing his life is over, Obito tells Rin to remove his remaining eye and offer it - along with the Sharingan - to Kakashi as a belated present and final gift to Kakashi for being promoted to Jounin. Obito tells Kakashi he is a great shinobi and that he can become Kakashi's eye and help them all live on. A short time passes and Kakashi emerges from the rubble a holder of the Sharingan.

I'm Watching - Gundam 00

Gundam 00 is so cool! Everyone is cool, all the characters, the gundams, the animation, and the color... This gundam series so unlike the other gundams. The storyline is different too. Although I'm still on the first season, but I know I will be sufficed with this anime series when I'm through watching it... The best part is, it's all ready finished, all the episodes are already there. All you have to do is watch it, no need to wait.

Some of you may have already watched it and loved it, but for those who hasn't, I recommend you to watch Gundam 00 and be awed ^_^...And oh! I'm gonna be posting my review here when I'm done watching... So tuned with me!
