SAJ Library Overdue Items

Please ensure that items borrowed from the SAJ Library are returned before the due date. There have been some requests for items on Sundays only to find that they were issued some time ago. Time to conduct a good search around home for items and return outstanding ones ASAP. Also please ensure you check CD’s are returned in the cases, we have had CD cases returned without the CD’s. Please take care to return all items as a whole so we don’t have to chase you up.

Mark these dates in your diary … our 15th Anniversary Weekend. The team is planning a social event on the Saturday evening for College Age and up and also a lunch after church on the Sunday for all. We’ll also have Commissioners Donald and Debi Bell with us for the weekend. More details will follow a little closer to the time.

Room Bookings

Many of you probably aren’t aware that the building is quite heavily utilised outside of Sunday mornings. Currently, the sports court is in use most afternoons of the week for soccer practices and as well other rooms in the building are often being used by other organisations. Therefore, it’s really important if you’re wanting to use the facilities that you check availability first, to avoid any possible disappointment.

Emergency Services

Carol Muir is going to become the Emergency Services Co-ordinator for our Corp. She will be attending an upcoming training day and would appreciate it if you could indicate to her whether you would be prepared to help out in the case of an emergency. (She needs to take a list of potential volunteers or even better some of the volunteers to the training day). The date is still to be advised - possibly a Saturday in early to mid August.

Children’s Bikes in Gymnasium

Due to the large number of ride-on bikes becoming damaged over past months we have made the decision that they will no longer be available to use on Sunday mornings after church. We would ask that anyone who opens the equipment cupboard, would ensure that the bikes stay locked away after the other equipment (balls etc) is taken out to play with. Thank you for your understanding.
