The game's objective is to insert players into the role of an elite sniper team sent into a hostile area in an attempt to help the rebels of Isla Trueno, a fictitious Latin American country, fight against the force who has toppled their government in a coup d'état.A sequel, titled Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 was announced to be in development and is expected to be released in August 2012 but Eurogamer revealed the game was pushed back to October.Sniper Ghost Warrior puts players into the suit of a sniper as they attempt to accomplish a wide array of sniping and assault missions. Snipers are some of the deadliest and most frustrating soldiers to deal with in shooters, so it's very appealing to be the one behind the scope in Sniper Ghost Warrior. The trouble is that a lot of design miscues by developer City Interactive make it almost as aggravating to play a sniper here as it is to try to avoid the insta kill headshots that snipers deal out as bad guys in other first person shooters. Maddening difficulty, irritating enemy AI that hides its stupidity by being prescient, and terrible stealth mechanics make the game as annoying as a mosquito in your bedroom. Only good shooting mechanics, sharp jungle visuals, cool slow mo camera effects that let you get up close and personal with bloody headshots, and somewhat promising multiplayer save the game from being a total disaster.The story behind the Sniper Ghost Warrior campaign deals with some kind of revolt in a banana republic. Details are sparse, with you being filled in on a need to know basis through brief orders from HQ during missions, but it seems like the bad guys have taken over this tropical paradise and the Yanks are on the way to restore order. Faster than you can say "Hey, that's just like what Reagan did with Grenada!" you've got your boots on the ground as a Ghost Warrior, an elite covert operative with a sniper rifle and a plan. Well, you've got to assume there's a plan behind all of it. You're never given the whole picture aside from random tidbits about drugs and a nuclear program, although you are handed out clear orders in the levels and sent off to kill various baddies, rescue captives, mark targets, secure data, and clear out bases. Objectives are also marked out with onscreen dots and a gauge that tracks distance from goals, so you can never get lost even in the densest jungle foliage.Individual mission objectives are quite varied. While the majority of the game focuses on traditional sniper duties, like shooting sentries in the head via your telescopic sights, some levels mix in stealth and others deal with straight-out shooter carnage that is all about going to town with the budda budda budda stuff. At times, you bounce around to different parts of battlefields, seeing how fights play out from different angles. One moment, you're on a tower taking out enemy snipers to protect an incoming assault team. The next, you're part of that assault team, shooting up all and sundry. Levels feature lush jungles, ancient ruins, sandy beaches, and tin shacks, making your sniping exploits look a bit like clips from somebody's slides during an off the beaten path vacation in Cuba. That's not to say that Sniper: Ghost Warrior is bleeding edge or anything, as there are some real rough edges, like extremely blocky shadows. Still, the game looks more than respectable, even featuring a slow mo bullet cam whenever you make a headshot or kill two enemies with one pull of the trigger. An array of jungle noises and Spanish enemy chatter further build a Caribbean atmosphere, and really come to life in the living room if you've got a good 5.1 surround system, although the audio is marred by chintzy weapon sounds.While Sniper Ghost Warrior has a few pluses, they're hard to spot buried under the many design flaws that make the game one frustrating rumble in the jungle. It's awfully gratifying to line up a perfect kill and be rewarded with a bullet time slow mo sequence that shows what happened to the bad guy's head after you squeezed the trigger. But annoyances like the punitive stealth sequences, and insane difficulty spikes make the satisfying moments few and far between.

Resident Evil 4 takes you on a secret mission at a mysterious location in Europe, where you will fight not zombies in an attempt to recover the President's daughter. Resident Evil 4 is strong gameplay somehow manages to survive, despite a lazy porting job that will leave some PC owners wondering what all the fuss was about.

In 2005, Resident Evil 4 on the Nintendo GameCube was rightfully lauded as one of the best action adventure games ever released, thanks to stunning visuals and white-knuckle action sequences that ranked amongst the best in gaming. Later that year, PlayStation 2 owners were blessed with their own version of the game, featuring more missions and some other unlockable goodies. And now you can play Resident Evil 4 on your PC for a mere $20. It's too bad that PC gamers have been inflicted with a lazy port that does as little as possible to cater to the platform. Forget mouse support, forget tailoring the visuals to your own preferences, and don't even think about any PC only goodies: this is a direct transfer of the PlayStation 2 version. If you can get past all these problems, RE4 is still an intense, thrilling ride that will keep your heart pounding. But if you still haven't played Resident Evil 4, this version should be your last resort.
The biggest oversight amongst all these porting issues is that of controls. Resident Evil 4 doesn't support mouse controls, though it does offer a mildly clumsy keyboard-only scheme. Plenty of console-centric games play better with a gamepad, but there wasn't even an attempt to implement decent PC controls here. To experience the game the way it's meant to be played, you need to plug in a gamepad. Whichever method you choose, the controls present an issue during the famous context sensitive moments that require a few split-second button presses. If you end up using the keyboard controls, make sure to memorize which key is button 1, which key is button 2, and so on. The same issue exists with a controller, though it's a bit easier to get the button presses right because the in-game diagrams are tailored toward gamepad users.
The fundamental combat is where the game shines most. Your arsenal consists of pistols, shotguns, rifles and more, with every weapon producing credible results. Popping pitchfork-wielding villagers will cause them to drop their weapons. Or you can shoot them in the knees to make them momentarily fall to the ground. Because ammunition is not terribly plentiful, being able to handle a crowd of shambling psychopaths with as few shots as possible is a main priority. You've always got a knife as a last resort, but unless you want to take a chunk of damage, it's better to keep your distance.

In order to ensure his loyalty, Chu sends Wei Shen on various missions to seize back territory from "Jade Gang" a rival gang headed by Sam "Dogeyes" Lin. During one such mission, Shen is captured by Inspector Jane Teng, but Superintendent Thomas Pendrew bails him out and establish his identity to Jane Teng.The gameplay of Sleeping Dogs primarily consists of giving the player an open world surrounding in which they can roam freely.This adventure game is played in over the shoulder third-person perspective having role-playing elements. The gamer controls Wei Shen, a Chinese-American cop, as he goes undercover to breach the Sun On Yee Triad criminal organization. This character has the liberty to run,walk, jump, climb over obstacles and swim and of course use a variety of weapons and martial arts techniques in combat. Players can also take control of various vehicles like motorbikes,cars and boats.Sleeping Dogs got generally positive reviews. Consider Ubisoft's first try at a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie game as Prince of Persia for children. The plot is based upon the CGI Turtles movie, TMNT 2007 game gets this descriptor as it plays a whole lot like Ubisoft Montreal's most recent Prince of Persia game series, relying mostly on platforming over combat. Here, Montreal has decreased the difficulty levels of the various jump puzzles that Price of Persia is known for (perhaps to make it playable for the younger ones),but the game is far more tiring than it should be, due to a not-so-good camera system and sometimes unresponsive controls. Along with that the combat is only slightly more advanced than the legal-aged TMNT arcade beat-them-up Ubisoft & Konami rereleased on the Xbox Live Arcade and what we get is a game that does not properly suit any specific audience. If you're more used to Konami's last few tries at the Turtles license, you're in for a surprise with TMNT. In a few ways, it's an awakening, in the sense that this title isn't altogether boring and actually has its moments of fun. The moments come from the happy platforming sequences that make up roughly 2-3rd's of the course of the gameplay. Each level is laid out in such a way so as to force you into double jumping,obstacle jumping,wall jumping, wall running, flipping and performing monkey bar your way through. Few levels are more elaborate, depending more on quickly timed movements and jump tricks that remind us of what the recent Prince of Persia titles have been all about. Some regions have been created for specific Turtles to navigate, like walls that Raphael can mount through his sai and longer jumping ability that require Michelangelo to apply his nunchakus like chopper blades to float over head. All told, there's a curious amount of intricacy to the stage designs in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Of course, the relative challenge of these stages has been pulled back significantly, and none of the levels take more than ten-fifteen minutes to clear your way through.To conclude we can say that this Nina Turtles title has some extremely neat platforming sequences, but at the same time it's more exhausting than a kids game ought to be, and the combat is totally pointless and not an interesting feature here.
