Salem Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and has been a fixture in the Affton community for more than 110 years. Salem is a fellowship of believers who come together to worship, learn, and serve. We offer a variety of ministries and programs that cater to all ages, and we are always looking for new ways to reach out to our community.
Whether you're a longtime member of our church or just beginning your faith journey, you're welcome here. Worship with us on Saturdays at 5:00 p.m. and Sundays at 8:00 or 10:30 a.m.
We offer an opportunity for faith development through Bible studies and Christian teachings for children ages 3 through 8th grade at 9:20 a.m. each Sunday.
Our groups meet on various days and times throughout the week for those who desire to learn more about God's Word.
Salem Lutheran School melds rigorous academics with a Christian foundation, instilling solid values and a love of learning in our students. In addition to our excellent academics, students enjoy plenty of our extracurricular activities like sports, student council, and music. From dedicated teachers to engaged parents, everyone works together to create a dynamic learning community.
Our school offers an early childhood education program for families with children as young as 2-years-old in a nurturing environment.
We offer academics for elementary-aged students that meets their individualized needs with a devoted faculty.
In addition to academic courses, our school offers music, art, physical education, and Spanish class.
We offer various extracurricular activities, including sports and band. We also after school enrichment based on student interest.

FREE Vacation Bible School at Salem We thank all of our students and volunteers who participated in this year’s VBS at Salem, EPIC AUSTRALIAN ADVENTURE! It was fun week of Bible stories, songs, games, and crafts that pointed us to our Savior, Jesus.
