Our client is the Charles Beckendorf Gallery in Fredericksburg, Texas. Our job is to get the gallery the attention it deserves. The day before Father’s Day, we created an event that was for anyone who wanted to come to Fredericksburg to celebrate a proclamation we were able to get for the gallery, Charles Beckendorf Day. The Birthday of Charles is June 17th and we created a press conference party where Mayor Linda Langerhans read the proclamation and announced the state proclamation, which also recognized Charles for his many contributions. With over 100 guests on Saturday and about the same on Tuesday, the events sold art, the warmth of the Beckendorf family and the now annual event with additional respect and recognition for the artist.
