Chatted with one of the workers who said that the tide will probably deepen the opening by another four feet.   A fabulous improvement to the water flow!!  Maybe the channel might come back in a few years. The normal equipment of trucks, men, signs arrived but then I noticed a blue dot in the distance........  Yes, it was a loo!
