So some of my favorite locations happen to be some of the most random. These were taken right next to my local Chevron. The Chevron that I hold dear to my heart. The Chevron that provides me with drive up service and gives me my
32oz-Diet Coke-in-a-styrofoam-cup-with-crushed-ice fix on a daily basis.

I really love that Chevron… and I really love this family…
and I really love random sun flower patches that grow next to parking lots. :)

I think I’ve said it before, but I will say it again… I absolutely love doing missionary portraits.
There’s something to be said about young 19 year old boys who willingly put 2 years of their lives on hold
so they can go out and serve the Lord.

There’s also something to be said about the faithful sweet Moms who let them go; knowing that they leave as boys, but return as stalwart young men. Especially a mom who just sent off another one of her sons on a mission just over a year ago.

This is Cache, my husband’s cousin. Cache is a great kid (great being an understatement) and the definition of an outdoorsman.
Not only that, but he’s a good lookin’ kid. In my 9 year old daughter’s words,
“He looks a lot better than most guys do.”
Ha! I love it!
