This particular team has been formed for the 2009/10 season as a result of our being able to secure the resources of additional coaches to continue with our success of fielding teams up to Under 18 level.

The team is coached jointly by Steve Piper and Jim McCarthy who were with Seagulls FC Under 16’s last season. Our new coaches come with over 7 years coaching experience and last year managed the Seagulls Under 16 squad to the County Cup Semi Finals. Previous years have seen their teams win the under 14 League and reach three  tournament cup finals winning one and being runners up twice. Steve and Jim come with County league playingexperience and are looking forward to building a competitive squad of players who are able to compete for trophies and support the 1st team in achieving their aim of gaining promotion to Senior Football. If you are interested in becoming a part of this team the come along to pre-season training, which starts on the 30th June at Hill Park, the home of Saltdean United.  We hope to welcome along players both old and new to the club.
