&lt;p&gt;We have a Teacher position available in Monrovia, Liberia. This position will be responsible for coordinating the educational and teaching curriculum for the children of expatriate Samaritan’s Purse (SP) Liberia employees.  &lt;br /&gt;

Liberia was founded on noble principles as a 19th-century refuge for freed American slaves. It is one of the few countries never colonized in Africa. Its name means “Land of the Free.” In recent decades, however, Liberia has been wracked by war, terror, and corruption. A military-led coup in 1980 was followed by civil wars in 1989 and 1999. Hundreds of thousands were killed and the economy was devastated during the years of violence. Peace was finally restored, but the nation has been ravaged. Unemployment runs as high as 85 percent, and less than 40 percent of the adults are literate. People are searching for hope. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

RESPONSIBILITIES: &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Demonstrates Christ-like behavior that is reflective of the standards and policies established for an employee of SP and is pursuant with the organizational core values.&lt;br /&gt;
• Coordinates, organizes, and administers the educational curriculum for the students including the day to day activities in coordination with the home school curriculum.&lt;br /&gt;
• Ensuring a positive learning environment for the children which would consist of clean working spaces and organization of all teaching and school supplies.&lt;br /&gt;
• Communicates with the Country Director and parents on the progress of the children and the school (it is suggested that monthly meetings be arranged).&lt;br /&gt;
• Assists, when possible and needed, in other educational areas of SP. &lt;br /&gt;
• Maintains an expert knowledge of SP projects.&lt;br /&gt;
• Demonstrates spiritual and personal maturity to represent the organization well.&lt;br /&gt;
• Ability to educate children and seeing them develop to their potential. If necessary, be able and willing to provide extra tutoring to the students on a needs basis.&lt;br /&gt;
• Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, its donors and volunteers.&lt;br /&gt;
• Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
QUALIFICATIONS: &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.&lt;br /&gt;
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Elementary or Secondary Education or related field and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.&lt;br /&gt;
• One year of college-level Biblical studies is preferred.&lt;br /&gt;
• Overseas teaching experience desirable.&lt;br /&gt;
• International travel, experience living in the developing world, and/or experience working in a developing world desired.&lt;br /&gt;
• Strong communication skills; ability to express accurately and effectively both written and verbal.&lt;br /&gt;
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks at any given time.&lt;br /&gt;
• Able to teach and train children; ability to grasp quickly and continually increase information and ideas.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Regional Technical Advisor, Nutrition will assess, review, and advise on all nutrition and nutrition related health matters; to serve as a resource to Samaritan’s Purse (SP) Projects, Regional Directors, and Country Directors. Will be responsible to expand and improve the SP tool box for responding to nutrition related emergencies as well as programs that target longer term nutritional issues that affect populations.  Assess and document emergency relief efforts connected to nutrition.  Research nutrition related technical areas specific to needs of the field and disseminate information to field offices and other technical staff. Monitor nutrition related field projects and advise as appropriate. Collect information on program indicators and other technical aspects of SP nutrition programs and review in order to ensure program quality and achievement of set goals. Develop best practices and protocols for SP efforts in the nutrition sector. Assist fields in finding and securing funding for nutrition related projects.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
RESPONSIBILITIES:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Respond to nutrition related questions posed by SP field offices.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Liaise and discuss technical and program developments with other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), partner organizations, vendors and government agencies involved in nutrition efforts around the world in order to network and build technical capacity.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Interchange ideas and develop action steps with SP staff and affiliate office staff regarding specific field projects.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Provide monthly activity reports to the Director of Program Development.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Assist with the development, implementation, and analysis/drafting of community based health and nutrition assessments as necessary.  &lt;br /&gt;
•	Assist with the development and updating of the SP nutrition manual and technical documents.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Assist with nutrition program setup and evaluation as necessary.  &lt;br /&gt;
•	Visit field projects to provide advice on nutrition programming, technical review, and to assist with or provide community based nutrition related assessments.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Compile reports for Country and Regional Directors following field investigations.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Brief Director of Program Development on a regular basis to discuss direction and provide updates on efforts.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Attend meetings and seminars concerning nutrition efforts and new research/policy initiatives as appropriate.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Discuss regularly with the Health Advisor and other technical advisors within SP in order to coordinate activities/support, integrate program approaches, and share information.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Assist with the development of presentations that include the nutritional aspects of SP programming.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Assist with technical support for nutrition and dietary related workshops or training forums within SP.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Make presentations for audiences concerning SP nutrition projects as appropriate. &lt;br /&gt;
•	Attend country based workshops and technical meetings as necessary.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, its donors and volunteers when possible.&lt;br /&gt;

QUALIFICATIONS:&lt;br /&gt;

•	Master’s Degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  &lt;br /&gt;
•	One year of college-level Biblical studies is preferred.  &lt;br /&gt;
•	5+ years of nutrition programming experience, preferably in a developing country.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Experience in conducting nutrition surveys, including planning, sampling, training, data collection, supervision, data cleaning, analysis, reporting and dissemination.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Methodical and thorough familiarity with SMART method, including software application with plausibility checks and software application (ENA-Epi/ ENA-SMART, or EpiInfo).&lt;br /&gt;
•	Possess strong organizational skills, networking skills and cross-cultural communication skills.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Possess training and coaching skills.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Program Manager, Human Resources coordinates and administers the Human Resource (HR) function for the specific field projects implemented by Samaritan's Purse (SP) in South Sudan. This should be done in a mature and responsible manner so as to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of personal information of the staff and of the SP payroll.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Samaritan's Purse has been working full time in South Sudan since 1997. During the war, the main office was located in Nairobi, Kenya. As of July 2011, Juba is the country office while Nairobi will provide logistical and financial support.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
RESPONSIBILITIES:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Ensure that proper HR procedures and systems are operated and maintained at all project locations in compliance with the Sudan labor laws, SP policies and all relevant authorities. &lt;br /&gt;
•	Review the SP national staff policies. Update the HR manual, interpret and train managers and staff on procedures, policies and guidelines indicated in the HR manual.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Develop and implement strategy for HR management and development including but not limited to recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions, contracts, training and development, succession planning, morale and motivation, culture and attitude development, performance appraisal, compensation and benefits and quality management issues.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Develop and maintain healthy relationships with the government and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) of South Sudan in the field of HR.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Develop job classifications/grades and salary scales for the organization by conducting salary surveys.&lt;br /&gt;
•	 Plan for employee’s performance appraisal; develop tools for appraisal, job evaluation and development.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Maintain and accurately prepare the monthly payroll and ensure compliance with tax laws of South Sudan.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Program Manager of Finance&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating all financial and budgetary aspects of the country office in Haiti; responsible for administrative field accounting, expenditures, bookkeeping and payroll related to a specific program(s), projects and/or region in a country as assigned by the Country Director; ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements; has oversight and management of the finance team in-country.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Finance Manager &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;should have specialized financial skills and experience, accounting knowledge, familiarity with financial software applications.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;strong&gt;ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&lt;/strong&gt; include the following. Other duties may be assigned.&lt;br /&gt;

• Ensure that appropriate financial regulations and controls are in place and in use at all times.&lt;br /&gt;

• Provide required monthly financial reports by specified deadlines to the Country Director and IHQ as assigned.&lt;br /&gt;
• Ensure financial/accounting activity is carried out in accordance SP’s field accounting policies and perform other duties as assigned.&lt;br /&gt;
• Review and approve financial transactions for SP field operations based in the region as appropriate (includes vouchers, FERs, Cash Advances, transfers, etc.).&lt;br /&gt;
• Ensure adequate cash flow for operations and safety of financial resources at base.&lt;br /&gt;
• Ensure all cash is reconciled on a weekly basis, reporting any over/under to country office and investigate any over/under situations.&lt;br /&gt;
• Administer all cash advances to employees and partners, reconciling all receipts and remaining cash at month’s end.&lt;br /&gt;
• Maintain close and cooperative working relationships with fellow financial staff and the Country Director.&lt;br /&gt;
• Provide support to Base Manager and/or Program Managers with regard to financial policies/practices and related areas as required.&lt;br /&gt;
• Provide financial information to Program Managers for budgets preparation and proposals.&lt;br /&gt;
• Ensure contracts are current on all rental properties, facilities, and vehicles. &lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This position is based in Akuem which is located in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State (NBeG) and is the primary field office for the Church Reconstruction Project (CRP), which has constructed more than 478 churches. During the many years of civil war in Sudan, the Christian church in the south faced persecution and church buildings were looted and demolished, many of them being burned to the ground. Since the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) was signed in 2005, Samaritan’s Purse (SP) has been bringing hope and answers to prayer for South Sudanese Christians by helping rebuild destroyed churches. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In the fall of 2010, Akuem base also began a Water, Sanitation &amp; Hygiene (WASH) program and drilled 62 wells in 2011 with a drilling rig owned and operated by SP. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In December 2010 and January 2011 thousands of South Sudan returnees traveled from Khartoum by bus, lorry and railway to Northern Bahr el Ghazal State due to the referendum vote and the potential secession of South Sudan. The returnees are continuing to arrive having fled South Sudan during the decades of civil war between the north and south. SP has responded to the situation using the organization’s resources in WASH and becoming involved in NFI (non-food item) distributions for returnees at destination points throughout Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Program Coordinator, Construction should give oversight and direction to the construction crews on each building site.  This person is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the building plans are implemented both effectively and efficiently.  The Program Coordinator, Construction is responsible for quality control, implementation of appropriate construction standards and practices, maintaining on-site inventory, material procurement, ensuring necessary equipment is maintained, assisting in logistics to sites, financial controls, and developing relationships with the local church communities.  The Program Coordinator, Construction may fill in for the Church Reconstruction Program Manager when needed.&lt;br /&gt;

RESPONSIBILITIES: &lt;br /&gt;

Programming currently includes Yida transit camp for Nuban refugees and contains projects in Nutrition, Water/Sanitation, Hygiene, Food Security, and Reproductive Health.  Unity State, South Sudan is a fascinating and challenging place to work with insecurity, austere field locations and basic accommodations.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This position reports to the Emergency Health and Nutrition Coordinator and is responsible for overseeing, managing, and ensuring the success of the nutrition stabilization center.  Major responsibilities include field level program implementation of inpatient programs, monitoring and evaluation, program planning, liaising with local government and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) partners, staff capacity building, and internal liaising with senior staff.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
RESPONSIBILITIES:&lt;br /&gt;

•	Setting up of Stabilization Center Services in the Yida Camp with the Program Coordinator.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Samaritan’s Purse (SP) began operations in Cambodia in July 2003, responding to the needs of amputee survivors from the Khmer Rouge period living in a remote village, in Viel Thom, Kampong Speu. Since then SP has expanded its work to 5 provinces, including Kandal (Phnom Penh), Takeo, Kampong Chhnung, Pursart, and Bantey Meanchey. SP implements its community-based programs through a team of more than 60 full-time staff and a number of key local partners and churches.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
SP’s primary areas of intervention are household food security, water and sanitation, health and nutrition, orphans and vulnerable children, and ministry. In addition, SP specializes in providing rapid and effective disaster relief.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Program Manager (PM) oversees all programming relating to agriculture and livestock and is responsible for writing program documents, including project proposals, reports, and management of field staff, in addition to growing potential new projects in agriculture and livestock.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The PM is responsible for management of the current Seeds of Hope agriculture and livestock project which is working in three different provinces.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The PM will work alongside national staff and managers, partners and Churches to strengthen and expand programming in the areas of agriculture and livestock. Frequent travel may be required within the country providing technical oversight to programming.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This position is based in Akuem which is located in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State (NBeG) and is the primary field office for the Church Reconstruction Project (CRP), which has constructed more than 478 churches. During the many years of civil war in Sudan, the Christian church in the south faced persecution and church buildings were looted and demolished, many of them being burned to the ground. Since the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) was signed in 2005, Samaritan’s Purse (SP) has been bringing hope and answers to prayer for South Sudanese Christians by helping rebuild destroyed churches. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In the fall of 2010, Akuem base also began a Water, Sanitation &amp; Hygiene (WASH) program and drilled 62 wells in 2011 with a drilling rig owned and operated by SP. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In December 2010 and January 2011 thousands of South Sudan returnees traveled from Khartoum by bus, lorry and railway to Northern Bahr el Ghazal State due to the referendum vote and the potential secession of South Sudan. The returnees are continuing to arrive having fled South Sudan during the decades of civil war between the north and south. SP has responded to the situation using the organization’s resources in WASH and becoming involved in NFI (non-food item) distributions for returnees at destination points throughout Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Fleet Mechanic is expected to carryout fleet servicing, repair and maintenance in all Samaritan’s Purse bases in South Sudan. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
RESPONSIBILITIES:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Daily planning of workshop work flow; assign duties to mechanics and drivers and supervision of day to day servicing, repair and maintenance of organization’s vehicles, tractors, drilling equipment, trucks, generators, quad bikes and motorcycles.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Coordinate fleet servicing, repair and maintenance in various Samaritans Purse Bases in Greater Bahr El Ghazal including site visits to the field workstations.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Order fleet and heavy drilling equipment spare parts, lubricants and essential workshop supplies from local and international dealers in liaison with procurement and finance departments.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Draft weekly and monthly periodic workshop reports to be sent to the organization headquarters and donors.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Maintain adequate stock inventory levels at all times so as to facilitate quality and timely fleet servicing, repairs and maintenance. &lt;br /&gt;
•	Order fleet fuel for vehicles and planes and track and maintain daily fuel log sheets.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Offer technical assistance and advice to the fleet manager as well as the Senior Management Team in relation to fleet servicing and repair needs, procurement of spare parts, workshop tools and equipment, workshop staffing levels and funding needs.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Conduct staff orientation and on job training to newly employed drivers, mechanics, turn boys and local Sudanese citizens contracted by Samaritan’s Purse.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, its donors and volunteers.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Assess, manage, and report critical physical, emotional, or spiritual concerns of supervised staff.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
QUALIFICATIONS:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or other relevant field; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.&lt;br /&gt;
•	One year of college-level Biblical studies is preferred.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Over five years working experience as a fleet and/or general mechanic, ideally in an international setting.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Driving skills of light and heavy commercial vehicles.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Ability to cope with stress and live in basic conditions; flexibility and patience.     &lt;br /&gt;
•	Fluency in spoken Arabic Language is desirable.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
12 month contract with the potential for renewal.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Samaritan’s Purse is working in partnership with Association of Baptist for World Evangelism (ABWE) in the construction of a multi-story Hospital in Bangladesh.  The Construction Manager (CM) will be responsible for overseeing the daily on-site construction to ensure the overall structural integrity, quality of construction; specified materials, safety, and budget are not compromised.  This position while employed by Samaritan’s Purse will report directly to the ABWE Project Office Executive Director. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Responsibilities: &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	During the Construction Execution phase, the CM will be responsible to update schedules, create drawings, create specifications, and design a safety plan as required by each phase of the project. &lt;br /&gt;
•	Oversee a Contractor/Staff member with the proper management skills to ensure that project schedules are met or exceeded without sacrificing quality of construction, materials or safety.  &lt;br /&gt;
•	Conduct weekly construction meetings between necessary parties to ensure that communication is often and effective as well as maintain and distribute minutes from meetings.  &lt;br /&gt;
•	Review and approve of periodic payment certificates. &lt;br /&gt;
•	Reporting to include a monthly report and accounting summary (staying within a pre-determined budget) is required to be sent to the Director of the ABWE Project Office and Samaritan’s Purse. &lt;br /&gt;
•	Diplomatically act as a liaison between contractors, the ABWE Project Office and Hospital Administration when necessary.&lt;br /&gt;

•	Must be proactive and have knowledge to foresee potential problems and the ability to deal with them and be able to act as a liaison between contractors, the Project Office and Hospital Administration. &lt;br /&gt;
•	Computer proficiency in Ms Word, MS excel spread sheet.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Experience with AutoCad or related CAD software.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Experience in Project Management.&lt;br /&gt;

The Program Development Officer will serve as a liaison between Samaritan’s Purse (SP) and Government/Non-Government authorities for collaborative programming on behalf of SP. Incumbent will write concept papers, proposals and project summaries and work with the Country Director (CD), Program Managers, and Finance Officer to develop proposal budgets.&lt;br /&gt;

Responsibilities:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Monitor and be aware of upcoming agency “calls for proposals” and proactively inform the Country Directors and Regional Director of upcoming opportunities.  &lt;br /&gt;
•	Monitor and evaluate the implementation of quarterly program activities.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Coordinate assessments and conduct field visits in order to collect and verify data. &lt;br /&gt;
•	Analyze data and background materials in order to provide guidance and support to Program Managers and key decision makers.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Maintain base line data of social indicators and digital library.&lt;br /&gt;
•	Research and propose best practices in development programs and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) operations.&lt;br /&gt;
