During the Jan 19 Board Meeting, Superintendent Frentress recognized and celebrated the outstanding performance, contributions, programs, events and successes throughout the San Carlos School District. The San Carlos School District is excited to share that Tierra Linda’s Assistant Principal, Charu Gulati, will be setting sail to the Galapagos Islands for an expedition under the Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship. Come join our new TK Early Learning Program for our Transitional Kindergarten students! Knowing some families will need afternoon care for their TK students, SCSD will offer an enriching, extended-day program for our littlest students in collaboration with our preschool program from the end of the school day until 5:30 pm. Come join your friends in the San Carlos Early Learning Center Program! Children are painting, building, creating, learning and playing Monday-Friday from 7:30am until 5:00pm. We have open spots available at each of the four elementary sites.

Mariposa students have been busy using PTA Campus Beautification funds to refurbish their friendship rock garden. Kindness rocks are painted with inspirational messages and sayings and placed in gardens to spread positive feelings. Way to go Monarchs🦋

The San Carlos School District is proud to announce that all six of its elementary schools have been selected to receive the 2023 California Distinguished School Award - Arroyo Upper Elementary, Arundel Elementary, Brittan Acres Elementary, Heather Elementary, Mariposa Upper Elementary and White Oaks Elementary.

For the upcoming 2023-24 school year, students who turn 5 on or between September 2, 2023 and April 2, 2024 are eligible to register for Transitional Kindergarten (TK). Previously, only students who turned 5 by February 2 qualified. Visit our Transitional Kindergarten page to learn more about our TK program by clicking on the title link.
