This my first time to write a blog so please bear with me... San
Pedro Bridge is dubbed as the longest wooden foot bridge in the
Philippines which connects to island barangays, Brgy. Cantiasay and Brgy. San Pedro formerly known as Brgy. Hanigad . It is one of the
main attractions in Surigao City specifically in Nonoc Island. This old photo
that I have shows the longevity and the capacity of the bridge to cope with
time. If you want to visit here, you can have four options upon crossing the sea for at
least almost an hour from Surigao City via motor boat . You can have your point
of transportation from Brgy. Talisay, Brgy. Nonoc and the nearest point are
directly in Brgy. Cantiasay and Brgy. San Pedro. I lived here during my childhood days after we transferred to Del Pilar, Cagdianao Islands (you should also try there, Hinabian Beach is must-to-see and the Water Dam). The current fare per person t is P150. If you want a private boat good for 15 persons, just go in front of Hotel Tavern, motor-banca for hire price starts at 2,000 pesos.

This
part of the bridge connects to Brgy. San Pedro, Nonoc Island where warm and
nice people will entertain guests and visitors. People here are mostly
fishermen. Dried fish and other sea creatures were best-sellers on this
island especially for those who love seafoods.

This old photo of mine is the other end of the bridge which connects to Barangay Cantiasay. This Barangay has clean roads. People here are mostly fishermen and employees of Marinduque Mining. I believed San Miguel Corporation will take-over, meaning there will be more people to be employed during and after the mining operation.

At the middle of the bridge lies the peak of it, much higher and taller compared to the other part of the bridge. When I was 9 years old, I had the chance to dive from this part and the feeling is a little cumbersome at start but very self-fulfilling afterwards. This is not an impressive bridge for some who lived in their modern world but an opportunity to walk in one of the 3rd worlds finest wooden bridge.

here I am crossing the bridge again with my
childhood memories lingers on, I mean my infinity walk hahahah Actually, I have
this feeling like I owned the bridge and I am walking above it like a god while the cool breeze is keeping you comfortable from the heat of the
Sun... IF YOU HAVE READ THIS BLOG, YOU SHOULD VISIT THIS PLACE!
