Exterior Facelift in Palmetto Dunes

Rot repair and paint prep are the first tasks at 1 Slack Tide. Next the entire exterior will be repainted (all new colors) followed with a new asphalt shingle roof.

Progress at Hilton Head Lakes

Things are really coming along at the Lake Club. In the past two weeks we have been setting steel, framing walls, water proofing, and erecting trusses. Its been full steam ahead thanks to all of the great guys at PGA Construction, our framing company.

We’ve got second floor views!

Finally we have stairs to the second floor. Walls are heading toward the top plate, second floor wall and ceiling materials are to be delivered on Wednesday and roof framing material is being readied.

The windows are ready to be shipped as soon as we get the membrane roof is on and rough openings are prepped; our tasks are set and things are starting to really take shape.

The exterior is being painted and a little pool gear closet is being built under the exterior stairs. The new chimney will be ready for the color coat once the trim is in place.

On the inside, the interior trim is under way as well as the shower pan in the guest bath. The next week will really make a difference!

Progress Continues at Seaside Sparrow

On the inside, the drywall is now sanded and primed. Next up is the interior trim and doors, which will start on Monday. The substrates for the tub/shower are on the job and will start to be installed. The new fireplace upstairs has been installed as well.

On the outside, all of the exterior siding and trim, which was completed last week, has been prepped by the painter. The exterior colors have been correctly matched and painting will start on Monday. The new chimney has been framed and the roof/flashing has been tied in.

Insulation was completed yesterday and as planned drywall started today at the Gimpel’s house. The exterior siding was completed today as well. Great progress being made everyday!

Windows are in and rough-ins are complete. Check back tomorrow to see pictures of insulation, siding and drywall being hung. Making progress!

Tons of steel; Cubes of block; Pallets of mortar; We’re raising a structure!

First floor walls and the second floor – just around the corner!

Framing has kicked into high gear.

Framing has started with a fury! The first board was cut Friday at 3pm, its now 3pm on Monday and all of the lower level has been framed. Next to go up are the floor trusses.

At the same time the framing is going on the block crew is working hard to stay out in front of them with the block for the elevator shaft.
