It’s that time of year, time for family portraits before the weather gets too hot. Only a few spring spots available! The Shultz family were a referral and sibling to a former wedding client of ours.. I love watching families grow through different shoots. This was a particularly fun session.

Finally, we are blogging again! After almost a year of indecisiveness regarding the future renovations to this blog and searching out ways to make the process of blogging simpler (so we can spend less time blogging and more time on our clients), at last the renovations are complete and we can continue to post images from the events we photographed in 2011. We are excited to share them with you! We’ll call them “Anniversary” posts, and we’ll post them around 1 year after they were photographed.

About the couple: I’m sure you must remember Rita and Ben from their awesome love session captured at Ben’s family orchard and apple processing plant. You know the kind of people that make you feel instantly at ease, the kind that you can laugh with immediately, the kind that you know exactly WHO they are and what they are about in the first five minutes of talking to them? That is Rita and Ben. We just instantly bonded with them and looking at these photos months later still makes me smile and miss them.

Something Unique about the event: They had a picture perfect wedding in Ben’s family chapel right smack in the middle of a pretty awesome orchard.
