Oddball Bunny Easter Carrot Treat Box | Stamping Bella

Hi all, Today I'm sharing how to make an Easter Treat Box featuring Oddball Easter Bunny and the sentiment from Chocolate Bunnies rubber stamp set. This gift box is quite large; the gift compartment is 7.5" and goes from 3" on the top to 1" at the bottom.

Supplies:

Oddball Easter Bunny rubber stamp

Chocolate Bunnies rubber stamp set (sentiment)

White card

Easter themed paper

Scoring board and bone folder

Liquid glue

Grass Border Die

Tag Die

How to:

Cut 2 pieces of card measuring 11.5" x 6" and, using the template below, score both pieces.

Note: The 7.5" section determines the length/height of the box; you can adjust this as necessary. For a shorter box, reduce the 7.5" and for a longer box increase it.

Again, using the template below, score where indicated by the dotted lines, then cut the solid red lines, removing the outer 1" squares and the two centre 1" squares. Repeat for both pieces

After removing the 1" tabs, the bottom of the base pieces should look like this.

Fold and burnish all of the straight score lines.

Gently fold in the outer diagonal lines ensuring it goes right up to the intersecting score line.

When all diagonal scorelines are folded and burnished, both pieces should look like this:

Apply wet glue into the valley, right from the top to the bottom.

Fold the piece in half and burnish well

Use a bone folder in the crease to make a crisp line. Repeat for both pieces then set aside to allow the glue to dry.

While the glue is drying on the base pieces of card, stamp Oddball Easter Bunny onto blending card, colour and fussy cut around the outline.

Retrieve the base pieces of card and ensure the glue is completely dried. Cut approximately 0.25" away from the score line to remove the excess card. Repeat on both pieces.

Place both base pieces side by side. Apply glue to the outside of one of the side panels and adhere the other piece to it, lining up the edges. Again, once the glue has completely dried, cut away the excess.

To complete the shape, first cut away the excess from both ends of the card. Apply glue to one of them, fold the base in half and adhere to the other end. Burnish well to ensure it adheres properly.

Decide which side will be the front and fold back the 1" tab. Fold in one of the side tabs, apply glue to it and fold in the other side tab on top of it. Apply glue and fold up the back tab. Finally apply glue and fold down the front tab.

Cut four pieces of paper measuring 7.25" x 2.75". On the bottom, measure in 1" from each side and mark with a pencil. Cut from the outer top corners down to the 1" markings to create the paper layers. Adhere all the layers to the base.

On the top of the box (the 3" sections) taper the edges of the side tabs and trim them down by approx. 1/2". Do not trim the front and back tabs. Fold the side tabs in.

Cut two grass border pieces from green card. Bring the front and back top tabs together and wrap one of the borders around it. Trim down the second grass border to fit the width of the tabs and adhere to the back of the folder border. This create a belly band type closure.

Slide the grass borders over the front and back tabs

Create a mat layer for Oddball Easter Bunny and adhere it to the front of the box.

Place the carrot shaped candy bag into the box.

Stamp the sentiment from Chocolate Bunnies rubber stamp set onto a piece of card and adhere to the top section of the box using foam tape.

Use the trimmings from the grass border on the bottom of the box and cut some Easter eggs from the papers and decorate.

Oddball Girl Power Altered Pizza Box | Stamping Bella

Hi all,

I recently came across garlic bread pizzas in Lidl and instantly thought what a cool gift the box would make. When I opened it up, the bread inside was wrapped in plastic so the box was clean and perfect for altering!

The stamp I used is Oddball Girl Power, which I stamped on copic blending card and coloured with Copic markers before fussy cutting around the outline.

The box measures approx. 7" x 7" and I shaped the papers by using the box as a template - drawing around it with a pencil.

When I had the sides and top covered I layered papers onto the front using various dies for the stars, circles and letters.

I used 3D foam strips to adhere Oddball Girl Power to the front.

Finally, I cut out the sentiment using a stitched rectangle die and positioned it behind the image.

The box can be used for a small gift, candy or anything else you like. I baked a 6" chocolate chip cookie which fit perfectly inside.

Spec-tacular Pairs | Stamping Bella

Hi all,

Today I'm sharing cards featuring Spec-tacular stamps from the newest release. These new Spec-tacular pairs are super cute and such fun to work with, and can be used for all occasions.

The first card features Spec-tacular Avocado and Toast and the new Spec-tacular sentiment set. I am not a fan of avocado toast but I love this cute pair and the sentiment is just perfect with it.

My second card features Spec-tacular Cheese and Crackers and the new Spec-tacular sentiment set. Another cute and versatile stamp that could even be a Valentine's Card or a Birthday card for your significant other?!

Curvy Girl Birthday | Stamping Bella

Hi all, today is my birthday so I made a birthday card for myself using my favourite colours, techniques, craft supplies and, of course, one of my favourite stamps - Curvy Girl Eats Cake

My favourite colours for cardmaking are pink and teal.

Dress and shoes - BG11, BG13, BG45, BG53, BG57

Flowers - R30, R32, R35

Plate: BV11, BV13

Cake: E51, E53, E55, R30, R32, R35

Leaves: G20, G21, G24

Shadow: W00, W1, W3

A favourite technique of mine is to use a scoring board and stylus to create a frame around the image. I do this by turning the image face down and scoring on the 1/8" line on all four sides.

The teal, mint and pink papers are a mix from various different brands.

My next favourite thing is to decorate the inside of the card. This does add a lot of weight to the card and is more expensive to mail but I just love the finished look.

I also added a place to hold a gift card - who doesn't love gift cards??

On the card front I stuck down the card and paper layer.

Then I used strips of contrasting paper and adhered them to the back of the image, before gluing that down onto the paper base layer.

Finally, my favourite embellishment - enamel dots. I have these in just about every colour there is; you could almost say I have an obsession with them!

And here is the finished product! All of my favourites on one card. Happy Birthday to me!

Hi all, I'm back, and this week I have a Halloween Rocker Card featuring Oddball Witchy Sistah 1 and the Spooky Sentiments set. This card would be a fabulous addition to your Halloween decorations.

Supplies:

Oddball Witchy Sistah 1 rubber stamp

Spooky Sentiments set

Black card

Halloween themed papers

Die cuts (optional)

Distress oxide ink, Twisted Citron

Lacy Scalloped Dies

Double stitched circle dies

How to:

Stamp Oddball Witchy Sistah 1 on to white blending card, colour and fussy cut around the outline.

Cut one 5.5", and one 4" lacy scalloped circle from black card.

Cut one 5" and one 3.5" double stitched circle from contrasting Halloween themed paper.

To create the card base, fold the large scalloped circle in half and burnish well with a bone folder

Cut the large circle in half and adhere either side of the card base.

Adhere the small paper circle and scalloped circle together.

Decorate with Halloween die-cuts

Apply 3D foam to the back, only on the bottom half

Adhere the circle to the card base, positioning so that only the bottom half is stuck to the base.

Adhere Oddball Witchy Sistah 1 using foam tape.

Stamp the sentiment onto white card, cut out using a small scalloped circle. While the die is still in place, ink with twisted citron distress oxide ink.

Adhere the sentiment and embellish the card as desired.

UTG Cinderella Bridge Card | Stamping Bella

Hi all, Today I'm shing a Bridge Card featuring Uptown Girl Cinderella and a sentiment from the Hello Spring sentiment set.

The card measures 6" x 6" when folded flat and fits easily into an envelope for mailing.

Supplies:

Uptown Girl Cinderella rubber stamp

Hello Spring Sentiment set

White card

Designer paper ( used: Echo Park, My Little Girl)

Scoring board and bone folder

Rainbow and Clouds Dies

Stitched Rectangle Dies

Spica glitter pens

How to:

Cut white card:

(1x) 8" x 6" - card base

(1x) 3-7/8" x 5-7/8" - centre panel

(4x) 7/8" x 5-7/8" - sides

(1x) 2" x 6" - bridge

(1x) 1-7/8" x 5-7/8" - bridge

(1x) 3.5" x 1.25" - sentiment

Cut paper:

(1x) 3.75" x 5.75" - centre panel

(4x) 0.75" x 5.75" - sides

(1x) 1.75" x 5.75" - bridge

Stamp Uptown Girl Cinderella onto white blending card and colour using your preferred medium.

Add some sparkle to her dress and gloves using Spica glitter pens.

Fussy cut around the outline and set aside to work on the card.

Score the 8" x 6" piece of card on the long side at 1", 2", 6" and 7"

Valley fold the inside score lines and mountain fold the outer score lines.

Adhere all the paper pieces to their corresponding card pieces

Adhere all the panels to the card base.

Apply glue to one end of the bridge

Line it up with the edge of the card base, approx. 1" from the bottom.

Fold in the side panels and adhere the other end of the bridge to the opposite side, again lining it up with the edge of the card base.

Apply glue or foam tape/dots to the image only where it meets the card base. Also leave enough of the dress to slide the end of the sentiment underneath before adhering it down.

Stamp the sentiment onto the white card strip then cut out using the rectangle die. Slide the end under the image.

Add some die cut clouds and a rainbow for a 3D effect.

Sprouted Baby One Sheet Gift Bag | Stamping Bella

Hi all, today I'm sharing how I made this One Sheet Gift Bag featuring the Sprouted Baby rubber stamp. The bag measures 5" x 4.25" when completed but you can adjust the height/width to suit your needs.

Supplies:

Sprouted Baby rubber stamp set (sentiment included)

Card

Designer paper (used - P13, Baby Joy)

Scoring board and bone folder

Stitched circle dies

Stitched Pennant dies

Scalloped border die

Adhesives - wet glue, foam tape or dots.

How to:

Cut double sided paper

(1x) 12" x 7.5"

(1x) 3.25" stitched circle

Cut card:

(3x) Scalloped border dies

(1x) 3.5" Stitched circle

(1x) 3.25" x 0.75" stitched pennant

Stamp Sprouted Baby onto white card. Colour using your preferred medium, then fussy cut around the outline. Set aside to work on the bag.

Score the 12" x 7.5" piece of paper on the long side at 4.25", 5.75", 10" and 11.5".

Turn to the short side and score at 1.5" and 6.5"

Turn back to the 12" side and score at 5" and 10.75" from the 1" score line down to the 5" mark. This helps pinch in the sides.

With the front of the paper facing upwards, fold down the 1" score line, then with the 1" section folded down, fold and burning all the vertical score lines. Fold up the 1.5" bottom score line and burnish well.

Open up the folds and, on the 0.5" side section, cut away the bottom 1.5" section. Make a tab from the top 1" section as shown below. Taper the edges of the tab and longer 0.5" section. Cut up on the vertical score lines of the 1.5" bottom section, tapering the 1.5" sections to make tabs.

Fold down the 1" section again. Apply adhesive to the long 0.5" section, and keeping the tab up off the long section, apply adhesive to that also.

Fold over the opposite end and adhere to the 0.5" section. Then lift the 1" section at the top and fold the small tab in underneath.

Turn the bag upside down and apply adhesive to the side sections and one of the larger sections. Fold in the side sections, then fold down the section with no glue over them.

Finally, fold in the larger section with the glue. Square up the bottom before the glue dries.

Take a bone folder and burnish the bottom inside of the bag to secure well.

Adhere the card and paper circles together and apply foam tape to the back.

Adhere the scalloped border around the top outside of the bag, then adhere the circles to the bag front.

Again using foam tape, adhere Sprouted Baby to the circles panel.

Stamp the sentiment onto the card pennant.

Adhere the sentiment beneath the image using foam tape or dots.

Insert a small gift and/or gift card into the bag.

Hi all! Today I'm sharing how I made this cute little gift card shadow box featuring Gnome Police Officer and a sentiment from the Work Life Sentiments set

Supplies:

Gnome Police Officer rubber stamp

Work Life Sentiments rubber stamp set

Navy card

Designer papers

Scoring board and bone folder

Adhesive - wet glue and double sided tape

Cut:

Card - Navy

(1x) 7.5" x 8.75" (base)

(1x) 4-5/16" x 5-9/16" (lid)

Card - white

(1x) 2-7/8" x 4-1/8" (lid layering panel)

2.75" x 0.5" (sentiment)

Paper -

(2x) 4-3/16" x 0.5" (lid)

(2x) 3" x 0.5" (lid)

(2x) 2-7/8" x 5/8" (base)

(2x) 4-1/8" x 5/8" (base)

(1x) 2.5" x 4" (top layer)

How to:

Stamp Gnome Police Officer onto white card, colour and fussy cut around the outline. Set to one side.

Score the 7.5" x 8.75" piece of card at 3/8", 1-1.8", 1.5" and 4.25" on all four sides.

On the long side, score at 2-5/8" and 6-1/8" down to the second score line only. Turn the card 180 degrees and repeat on the opposite side.

On the short side, score at 1-7/8" and 5-5/8" down to the fourth score line only. Turn the card 180 degrees and repeat on the opposite side.

Cut away the outer corners leaving the 0.5" tabs as shown below.

Cut on the score lines up to the second intersecting score line.

From the second score line, but diagonally as shown, on all four sides of the piece of card.

Apply adhesive on the outside of the box, on each of the outer long sections, and on the tabs.

Remove the backing from the tape on the shorter outer sections. Fold them on the 1st score line and the third score line and press down firmly to make the outer wall of the shadow box.

Repeat on the opposite side. Remove all the tape backing and fold in each side until the shadow box is complete.

Score the 4-5/16" x 5-9/16" piece of card at 5/8" on all four sides. Make tabs from the outer corners.

Adhere the tabs to the inside of the adjacent walls to make the box lid.

Adhere all the paper pieces to the sides of the box base and lid.

Adhere the white card layer and paper layer on the top of the box lid.

Insert the gift card.

Adhere image to the front of the box using foam tape. Stamp the sentiment onto the remaining strip of white card, trim as necessary, and adhere beneath the image.

Sorry You're Feeling Croaky | Stamping Bella Stamps

Hi all! Well we have Covid in the house since December 26th (thankfully I haven't caught it) so what better project to make than a Get Well Care Box, filled with essentials like tissues, lemsip, throat lozenges, etc. I used one of the images from Stamping Bella's December 2023 Release, Froggy Trio and also a sentiment from the Froggy Sentiments set on the box. They are just the cutest.

Supplies:

Froggy Trio rubber stamp set

Froggy Sentiments rubber stamp set

Off white card

Designer papers (used - Echo Park, First Responder)

Scoring board and bone folder

Adhesives - wet glue and double sided tape

How to:

Cut card:

(1x) 7.75" x 8.75" (box base)

(1x) 4.75" x 10-15/16"

(2x) 4-5/8" x 3-5/8"

(2x) 4-4/5" x 7/8"

Cut paper:

(2x) 4.5" x 3.5"

(2x) 4.5" x 0.75"

Score the 7.75" x 8.75" piece of card at 1" and 2" on all four sides.

Fold and crease all the score lines.

On each of the four corners, cut away the three outside 1" squares, then make a tab from the last 1" square. Snip a wedge from each end side of the tab and the ends of the adjacent long sides.

Apply double sided tape along the inside of all four outer long sections.

Apply wet glue to the outside of the four 1" tabs.

Fold each tab inwards and adhere to the inside of adjacent side as shown.

When all four tabs have been glued down, remove the lining from the double sided tape and fold the outer sections down.

Score on the long side of the 4.75" x 10-15/16" piece of card at 2.5" and 3-9/16" from both ends.

Fold and crease all the score lines. Apply double sided tape to the inside of one end

Lay the box base in the centre section of the wrap.

Fold up each side and wrap around the box. Remove the tape lining to secure the ends together.

Adhere all the paper layers to the card layers. There should be one each for the front, back and each side. Layer the front as desired.

Fill the box with honey and lemon drink, soothers, vaseline, tissues, etc.

Slide the box into the wrap.

Stamp on of the Froggy Trio images and colour using your preferred medium.

Stamp one of the Froggy Sentiments onto white card

Cut two stitched circles from contrasting paper. Trim one just inside the stitching and adhere to the other one. Fussy cut around the outline of the image and adhere to the circles using foam tape or dots.

Adhere the circles to the front of the box. Trim down the sentiment, fishtail then ends and then adhere across the bottom of the circle panel.

Reindeer with a Gift Shadow Box | Stamping Bella

Hi all!

Today I'm sharing how I made this Christmas Gift Shadow Box featuring Reindeer with a Gift .

I can't believe we are into mid November already. I am so behind on Christmas preparations this year. My children and into their late teens now but they still love to get little gift boxes filled with everything from candy to gift cards. This box fits a 2" x 4.5"x 1-1/8" gift but can be adapted to make any size you need.

Supplies:

Reindeer with a Gift rubber stamp

Heavy double sided paper

Scoring board and bone folder

Wet glue/adhesive/foam tape or dots

Embellishments (optional)

Precision scissors

Acetate

How to:

Cut paper:

3" x 9.5"

9.5" x 12"

Score the 9.5" x 12" piece of paper at 0.5", 1-5/8", 2-1/8" and 3.25" on all four sides.

On the 9.5" side, score at 3.75" and 5.75" down to the second score line only. Repeat at the bottom

On the 12" side, score at 2.75" and 9.25" down to the fourth score line only. Repeat at the bottom.

Cut as below.

On the outside, apply double sided tape to all of the outer 0.5" sections and on the four tabs.

Turn over to the inside and apply adhesive to the diagonal sections.

On the long sides, remove the tape backing, fold in the 0.5" section, then fold over on the third score line and adhere down.

When pulled back up it should look like this.

Repeat on the other side.

Remove the tape backing from the tabs and from the diagonals.

Fold up the ends of the box and adhere to the tabs. Then fold the paper in to to make the box shape.

Cut a piece of acetate measuring 4.25" x 6.75". Score on all four sides at 1-1/8". Cut away the corners then taper the edges of the four sides.

Insert the acetate into the middle of the box.

Stamp Reindeer with a Gift onto white card, stamp the sentiment beneath it. Colour the image then trim down the card to approx. 3-3/8" x 2.5". Use a stylus to emboss a 1/8" border around the image.

Take the 3" x 9.5" piece of paper and centre it across the box. Fold around the edges to make the belly band.

At the back, use wet glue/adhesive to secure the ends. Make sure the belly band is loose enough to move smoothly up and down the box.

Matt the image onto some Christmas green paper. Using foam tape, adhere the image panel to the front of the belly band.

Cut a sentiment from paper and use as embellishment.

Oddball Batty Duo Halloween Gift Box | Stamping Bella

Hi all. I'm back with another Stamping Bella tutorial and today I'm sharing how I made this Halloween Tic Tac Gift Box featuring Oddball Batty Duo. I used an empty tic tac box for inside and filled it with Halloween candies but you could also use a box of green and orange tic tacs.

Supplies:

Oddball Batty Duo rubber stamps

Tic Tac box

Black card

Halloween themed papers (used: Carta Bella, Hocus Pocus)

Scoring board and bone folder

Pennant die

Distress oxide ink - Carved Pumpkin

Ink blending tool

Adhesive and foam tape/dots

How to:

Cut black card -

(1x) 9.5" x 7"

(1x) 2" x 3"

Cut designer paper -

(2x) 2-1/4" x 3-1/8"

(2x) 1-3/4" x 3-1/8"

(2x) 2-1/4" x 1-3/4"

(1x) 1-7/8" x 2-7/8"

Score the 9.5" x 7" piece of card on the 9.5" side at 1", 2-7/8", 5-1/4" and 7-1/8"

Turn 90 degrees and score at 1-7/8" from each end.

Cut away the top and bottom panels of the 1" section. Cut down the top and bottom panels of the next section (1-7/8") to anything between 1/2" and 3/4". Cut all of the score lines from the top and bottom to the intersecting score line.

Fold in the tabs of the other 1-7/8" sections, apply adhesive to both.

Fold up the box and adhere the sides

Apply adhesive on the inside of the remaining 2-3/8" sections, fold up and adhere to the sides.

Taper in the edges of the 0.5/0.75" tabs.

Adhere the paper pieces to the outside of the box.

Stamp one of the bats from Oddball Batty Duo and colour using your preferred medium.

Fussy cut around the outline.

Adhere the small piece of black card and the paper layer together.

Adhere to the front of the box.

Adhere the bat to the box front using foam tape. Apply a dot of glue to the end of the cherry stalk and glue down.

Stamp a Halloween sentiment onto white card, cut out using a pennant die. Before removing the die, ink with carved pumpkin distress oxide ink

Adhere to the top of the box.

Fill the tic tac box with halloween candies and place inside the box.

All stamps will be available from midnight tonight.

Hi all!! It's Day Three of the Stamping Bella HOLIDAY 2023 RELEASE! Over the past three days the Design Team have shared an incredible selection of Autumn, Winter, Halloween and Christmas sneak peeks with you.

Stamping Bella Holiday Release 2023 | Day Two

Oddball Carolers Stage Card | Stamping Bella

Hi all, today I'm sharing how I made is Stage Card featuring the super cute Oddball Carolers

This card is 5.5" square and is a great way to display these characters. The card can also be adapted to suit any occasion

The papers I used are Santa Claus Lane and The Magic of Christmas from Echo Park, and there are loads of extra pieces that can be cut out to use as tags, sentiments and embellishments.

Supplies:

Oddball Carolers rubber stamp

Festive Gnome Sentiments

Card

Patterned papers

Scoring board and bone folder

Adhesive

Foam tape/dots

Embellishments of choice

How to:

Cut red card:

(1x) 5.5″ x 5.5″

(1x) 2″ x 6.5″

(1x) 5″ x 3.5″

Cut paper:

(1x) 5-3/8″ x 5-3/8″

(1x) 3-3/8″ x 3-7/8″

(1x) 1-7/8″ x 5-3/8″

Score the 5.5" square at 2.75"

Score the other two pieces of card at 0.5" from each end

Fold the 5-3/8″ x 5-3/8″ piece of paper in half, then adhere down to the 5.5" square, lining up the score line and the fold line.

Curve the 5″ x 3.5″ piece of card and fold back the two end sections.

Taper in the edges of the outer sections.

Adhere the paper layer

Apply adhesive to each end.

Flatten the card base and adhere the panel in the centre, approx 0.5″ up from the bottom.

Fold the base card into a slight V to curve the smaller panel.

Adhere the 1-7/8″ x 5-3/8″ piece of paper to the remaining piece of card.

Curl the piece over your fingers and fold back the 0.5″ end sections.

Again, taper in the edges of the 0.5" sections.

Apply adhesive to the inside of the 0.5" sections.

Adhere one end of the strip behind the card base, lining it up with the bottom

Bring the strip across the front and adhere the other end behind the card base.

Stamp the Oddball Carolers onto white card and colour using your desired medium. Fussy cut around the outline of each image.

Decorate the middle panel with a tag or cut out from the designer papers.

Apply foam tape to the back of the Carolers and adhere them to the middle panel, with their feet just below the front panel.

Stamp the sentiment from Festive Gnome Sentiments. To remove part of the sentiment, apply some tape over the words you don't want, ink the stamp and then remove the tape. Stamp the top part. Clean the stamp, and repeat for the "Christmas" underneath the first stamping. Using a stamping platform allows you to do practice runs to get the stamps into position.

Cut some embellishments from the designer papers, or use die cuts/stickers to embellish the front.

Cherry Blossom Branch Flip Top Pocket Album | Stamping Bella

Hi all 😀 I'm back today with another Stamping Bella step-by-step. This week I made this Flip Top Pocket Album featuring Cherry Blossom Branch. I love the sentiment with this stamp and thought it was perfect for a photo album. The album has 8 pockets and 14 photo mats. The pockets can be used for extra photos, tags, newspaper clippings, handwritten notes, and even greeting/gift cards.

The papers I used on this project are Let Your Creativity Bloom from Piatek Trzynastego (or P13)

Supplies:

Cherry Blossom Branch rubber stamp (sentiment included)

Card

Designer paper

Scoring board and bone folder

Magnets

Stitched rectangle die

Glittered enamel dots

How to:

Cut card:

(2x) 8.5" x 4-1/8"

(1x) 5" x 4-1/8"

(1x) 4" x 10.5"

(8x) 5.75" x 8.25"

(1x) 4-7/8" x 3.25" (white card)

Cut papers:

(2x) 5-7/8" x 4"

(2x) 4-7/8" x 4"

(2x) 1-7/8" x 4"

(14x) 3-7/8" x 5-5/8"

(1x) 4-7/8" x 3"

Score both 8.5" x 4-1/8" pieces of card at 6" and 8". Join them together by adhering the 6" section of one to the 0.5" section of the other. This creates the front, bottom, back and top of the album. The 4-1/8" x 5" piece of card (added later) adheres to the other 0.5" section to create the front of the album.

Score the 4" x 10.5" piece of card at 0.5", 1", 1.5", 1.75", 2.25", 2.75", 3", 3.5", 4", 4.25", 4.75", 5.25", 5.5", 6", 6.5", 6.75", 7.25", 7.75", 8", 8.5", 9", 9.25, 9.75, 10.25.

The 0.5" each end adhere to each side of the bottom section. Working from the 1.5" score line mountain fold the centre score line between each 0.5" sections and valley fold the lines each side of the 0.25" sections.

Apply double sided tape on one side of the 0.5" sections.

Remove the backing from all of the tape except the end 0.5" sections. Push the mountains together to form tabs.

Turn over and apply double sided tape across the back.

Round the corners on one end of the 5" x 4-1/8" piece of card.

Apply adhesive to the 0.5" section of the 8.5" x 4-1/8" piece and adhere to the 5" x 4-1/8" on the opposite end to the rounded corners. This is the front flap.

Adhere the tabs into the 2" section, ensuring the 0.5" score lines line up with the score lines each side of the 2".

Score the 5.75" x 8.25" pieces of card at 4" and 8". Cut a wedge from each end of the 0.25" section. Apply adhesive, fold over on the 4" score line and adhere to make a pocket.

Apply adhesive to both sides of the first tab and slide the pocket down over it. Press down well to ensure the pocket is secure.

Apply adhesive to the front of the pocket and adhere to the inside of the front cover.

Repeat for the back cover.

Glue down the rest of the pockets

Place a magnet on the front of the album, approx 3.5" down. Glue paper over it to secure it in place, then attach the other magnet to it. Apply a strong glue dot then fold down the front flap to adhere the magnet to it.

Adhere paper over the magnet on the inside of the front flap. Close up the album and it should stand up.

Cover the front and back of all the pockets with the paper pieces, and adhere all the outside papers.

Stamp the Cherry Blossom Branch onto white card, and colour using your preferred medium.

Add some while gel pen for 'glitter'

Adhere the 4-7/8" x 3" piece of paper to the 4-7/8" x 3.25" piece of white card and adhere to the front of the album.

Fussy cut around the Cherry Blossom Branch

Adhere flat to the panel on the front.

Stamp the sentiment onto white card and cut out using a 3.25" long rectangle die.

Adhere to the front, over the Cherry Blossom Branch, using foam tape. Embellish with some glittered enamel dots.

Uptown Girl Lainie Surprise Pop-Up Card | Stamping Bella

Hi all. I'm back today with a quick tutorial on how I made this Surprise Pop-Up Card featuring Uptown Girl Lainie on the Lounger. I love making interactive cards and this one isn't complicated at all.

The card I've made is 5.5" (14cm) square and is not too bulky, so it fits into a regular envelope for mailing.

Supplies:

Uptown Girl Lainie on the Lounger rubber stamp (sentiment included)

White card

Designer papers

Scoring board and bone folder

Ruler

Adhesive

Embellishments

How to:

Cut white card:

(1x) 11" x 5.5"

(1x) 5.25" x 5.25"

(1x) 1.75" x 4"

(1x) 4.25" x 3.75"

Cut designer paper:

(2x) 5.25" x 5.25"

(1x) 5" x 5"

(1x) 1.5" x 1.5"

Score the 11" x 5.5" piece of card at 5.5" on the long side. Fold in half to make a 5.5" square card base.

Adhere the two 5.25" square pieces of paper inside the card base.

Adhere the 5.25" piece of card and the 5" piece of paper together, and then adhere to the card front.

Take the 1.75" x 4" piece of card. Score on the short side at 0.5". Score on the long side at 1.25" and 2.5". Score diagonally from the top left corner down to where the 1.25" score line intersects, and then score from the 1.25" score line up to the top of the 2.5" score line.

Cut away the outer 0.5" x 1.25" section.

Mountain fold the 0.5" score line and the two diagonal lines.

Cut the 1.5" x 1.5" piece of paper diagonally

Adhere one piece to the triangle on the pop-up mechanism, as shown below.

Position the 4.25" x 3.75" piece of white card as shown below - do not stick down

Apply adhesive to the 0.5" section of the pop-up mechanism.

Line the mechanism up the just above 4.25" x 3.75" piece of card, and the centre of the card base.

Fold upwards on the second diagonal and apply glue to the first triangle.

Fold over the top of the card to adhere the mechanism. Give it time to dry before opening it up.

Decorate the 4.25" x 3.75" panel with layers and stamp the sentiment. Use flat embellishments.

Place the sentiment panel face down beneath the pop-up mechanism. Move it in about 1/4" from the spine. Apply adhesive to the mechanism as shown below.

Again, close up the card and press down firmly to adhere the mechanism to the pop-up panel.

Use the offcuts of paper to create a pocket on the inside cover.

Stamp Uptown Girl Lainie on the Lounger onto white card, and colour using your preferred medium.

Using oxide ink and a cloud stencil to create a sky.

Adhere the image to the 4-7/8" x 4-1/8" piece of white card. Decorate with stickers.

Decorate the card front using paper layers and sticker borders, then adhere the image panel using foam tape.

Oddball Dino Trio W-Fold Card | Stamping Bella

Hi all. For my Stamping Bella tutorial this week I am using Oddball Dino Trio on a W-Fold Card. This card is known by many names - everything from a pop-up card to an accordion tent card, but I've always known it as a W-Fold. The sentiment I used is from the I Miss Your Face Sentiment set.

Supplies:

Oddball Dino Trio rubber stamp set

I Miss Your Face Sentiment set

Card

Designer paper

Scoring board and bone folder

Adhesive

White card:

(1x) 11" x 5.5" - large card base

(1x) 3.25" x 8" - feature layer

(4x) 2-5/8" x 5-3/8" - large card base

(2x) 3-1/8" x 3-7/8" - feature layer

Designer paper:

(4x) 2.5" x 5.25" - large card base

(2x) 3" x 3.75" - feature layer

How to:

Score the 11" x 5.5" piece of white card on the long side at 2.75", 5.5" and 8.25"

Mountain valley fold and crease score lines well.

Score the 3.25" x 8" piece of card on the long side at 4" and fold in half.

Adhere all the card and paper panels together and then adhere them down onto the card bases.

Stamp the sentiment from the I Miss Your Face Sentiment set on the bottom half of a piece of card measuring 3.25" x 2.75"

Adhere the sentiment the feature layer, and decorate the opposite side using designer paper.

Stamp two of the dinos from Oddball Dino Trio onto white card, colour using your preferred medium then fussy cut around the outlines.

Adhere one of the dinos above the sentiment and adhere the other dino on the opposite side.

Add some paper pennants.

On the back of the small card base, apply adhesive on one end.

Fold back the first score line on the large card base and adhere the feature layer approximately 5/8" in from the edge, and centered vertically.

Flip the whole thing over and fold back the other end of the large card base. Apply adhesive to the other end of the feature layer and fold to adhere down.

Open up the card

Decorate the front panels.

Curvy Girl Loves the Beach Canopy Card | Stamping Bella

Hey all. I have another Stamping Bella step-by-step for you today. I saw this style of card on Insta and loved how much bulk there was to it, so I gave it a go. The measurements are slightly different on my card, I made the canopies a little larger, so that Curvy Girl Loves the Beach fit on the front. I really like how it turned out and will definitely play around with other sizes.

Supplies:

Coloured card & white card

Beach/nautical themed papers

Stitched rectangle die

Hearts stencil

Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink & ink blending tool

Adhesive & foam tape/dots

Cut coloured card:

(1x) 5" x 7" - card base

(1x) 5" x 7.5" - card base

(1x) 4" x 8" - large canopy

(1x) 3" x 7" - small canopy

Cut white card:

How to:

Score the 5" x 7.5" piece of card at 0.5"

Score the 4" x 8" piece of card at 0.5", 1", 1.5" and 7.5"

Score the 3" x 7" piece of card at 0.5", 1", 1.5" and 6.5"

To create a top opening 5" x 7" card base, apply adhesive on the 0.5" section of the 5" x 7.5" piece of card and adhere the 5" x 7" piece of card to it.

Adhere the layering panels to the card front.

Take the large canopy piece and fold down the 0.5" section. On the other end, mountain/valley fold the score lines.

Repeat with the small canopy and then adhere the card and paper layers to each of the canopies.

Apply adhesive to the 0.5" section on each end of the large canopy.

Adhere to the card front, centered horizontally and vertically.

Repeat with the small canopy.

Adhere the white card layer to the inside.

Stamp the Curvy Girl Loves the Beach sentiment onto a piece of white card measuring approx. 4" x 4.5". Mat with some coloured paper.

Decorate the inside panel (optional) and adhere the sentiment panel

Stamp Curvy Girl Loves the Beach onto white card and colour using your preferred medium.

Cut out using a stitched rectangle die approx. 5" x 2.25". Use the heart stencil and peacock feathers distress oxide ink to create a hearts background.

Adhere the image to the small canopy using foam tape/dots.

Decorate with some stickers, die cuts or other embellishments.

How to:

Cut white card:

Card base:

(1x) 11.5" x 5"

Waterfall Panels:

(1x) 10" x 4"

(1x) 5" x 4"

(1x) 4.5" x 4"

(1x) 4" x 4"

Sliding mechanism:

(1x) 7" x 1"

Brown card:

(1x) 4-7/8" x 3-7/8" - waterfall panel 1

(1x) 4-3/8" x 3-7/8" - waterfall panel 2

(1x) 0.5" x 3-7/8" - waterfall panel 3

Designer paper:

(1x) 5.5" x 4.75" - card base

(1x) 4-5/8" x 3.75" - waterfall panel 1

(1x) 4.25" x 3.75" - waterfall panel 2

(2x) 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" - waterfall panel 3

How to:

Score the 11.5" x 5" piece of card at 5.75" and fold in half to make the card base. Adhere the white card and paper panels and set aside.

Score the 10" x 4" piece of card at 5", 5.5", 6" and 6.5" on the long side.

Fold and crease all the score lines with a bone folder.

Centre 1" x 7" piece of card across the waterfall base and fold around loosely.

Fold the waterfall base in half. Apply adhesive between the 5" and 5.5" score lines. Line up the 5" x 4" piece of card with the front, and stick down.

Apply adhesive between the 5.5" score line and the 6" score line and adhere the 4.5" x 4" piece of card. Repeat with the last piece of card.

Apply adhesive to the centre section of the sliding mechanism and adhere to the bottom of the piece of card under the third panel.

Apply adhesive to the front of the centre section of the sliding mechanism and adhere the smallest waterfall panel to it.

Wrap the tabs of the sliding mechanism around the back of the card - do not adhere.

Stamp the Leo sentiment onto a piece of card measuring 3.75" x 4.25". Adhere the brown card panel and the sentiment panel on waterfall panel no.2. Use some designer paper to decorate.

On the waterfall panel no.3 (smallest one) use the papers to create a pocket for a gift card/cash.

Cut out two pull tabs. Open up the waterfall card and adhere one of the pull tabs to the bottom of the back of the card. Turn over and adhere the second tab, lining it up with the first one.

Adhere a paper layer if desired.

Fold the tabs around the back of the waterfall and adhere to the front of the card base.

Thread some twine through the hole of the pull tab.

Decorate the front panel using brown card and designer paper. Set the card aside.

Stamp Uptown Zodiac Girl Leo onto white card. Colour using your preferred medium, then fussy cut around the outline.

Adhere Uptown Zodiac Girl Leo to the card front, using foam tape/dots

To finish the card, stamp the Leo sentiment onto a strip of paper, cut out using a stitched rectangle and adhere across the card front.

Emily's Mini Birthday Release | Stamping Bella

Today would have been Emily, our BELLA IN CHIEF's birthday. It's still hard to think about Em without that knot forming at the back of my throat. She is missed as much today as the day we lost her.

To honour Emily on her birthday, we have an extra special mini release - and it is OUTSTANDING!. All of the stamps are available right now in the WHAT’S NEW section on the store. And, in keeping with tradition, we also have Em's birthday sale.

My first card today features Uptown Girl Emily Da Bella and Emily's Sentiment Set

Uptown Girl Emily Da Bella is excluded from the sale as she is a charity fundraiser. All of the profits from sales of this stamp will be donated to the Emily Block Memorial Fund, which supports children’s art therapy programs.

I couldn't just do one card with these 2 stamp sets. Emily was so proud of the SISTAHOOD she created and having a all of her "isms" in one stamp set is absolutely AMAZING. They are just so PERFECT!.

My last card features Emily's favourite flower - Lily of the Valley. Bundle Girl with Lily of the Valley marries Emily's favourite flower and my favourite stamp line together. Isn't she just the CUTEST?

Father's Day Pop-Up Card | Stamping Bella

Hi all :) Today I'm sharing a Pop-up Card with Gift Card Pocket tutorial featuring Gnome Carpenter. With Father's Day looming it was a perfect choice of card to make.

Supplies:

Gnome Carpenter rubber stamp

Celebrate word die (retired)

Scoring board and bone folder

Pencil/eraser/white gel pen

Black card:

(1x) 5" x 10"

(1x) 2" x 4.75"

(1x) 2-7/8" x 4"

(1x) 4" x 2"

White card:

(4x) 4.75" x 4.75"

(1x) 2.75" x 3-7/8"

Designer paper:

(4x) 4.5" x 4.5"

(1x) 2.5" x 4.5"

How to:

Score the 5" x 10" piece of black card at 5" on the long side. Fold and burnish well to create the card base. Adhere the 4.5" x 4.5" pieces of designer paper to the 4.75" x 4.75" pieces of white card and then adhere these panels to the inside and outside of the card base.

Draw a lines on the 2" x 4.75" piece of card, on the long side, at 3/8", 3/4", 1-3/8", 2-3/8", 3-3/8", 4", and 4-3/8". Draw a line on the short side at 1"

On the 5/8" sections draw a line, diagonally, as shown below. Cut along the diagonal line and then cut along the 1" line to each edge, removing the pieces of card entirely.

Score diagonally across the four centre 1" squares, and score along the 1" line. Fold all the score lines and crease well. Score on the 3/8" line on each end of the piece and fold upwards.

Pinch up the 1" scoreline and push inwards to create the pop mechanism.

Fold the 4" x 2" piece of card in half to make a 2" square.

Apply adhesive to the outside of one of the 3/8" sections and adhere to the inside of the open end of the 2" square.

Flip the piece over and repeat on the other side.

Open up the card base and place a pencil/white mark at the 2.5" point across the fold

Line up the point on the pop mechanism with the 2.5" pencil mark. Apply adhesive to one side of the triangle and fold the card over it.

Flip the card over, again apply adhesive to the right half of the pop mechanism and fold the card closed again.

Make the inside panel from the remaining black and white card pieces.

With the card in the upright position, and fully open, apply adhesive to front of the pop mechanism, up to the crease line.

Adhere the pop panel to it.

Fold the card closed to ensure the pop panel can't be seen when the card is closed.

Adhere any remaining 4.5" squares of paper to the card base.

Stamp Gnome Carpenter onto white card and colour using your preferred medium. Cut out using a stitched rectangle die, or just trim to size using a paper trimmer.

Adhere the image to the pop up mechanism.

Decorate the inside of the card with a sentiment.

Apply adhesive to both short sides and the bottom long side of the remaining piece of designer paper. Adhere to the back of the card to make a pocket for a gift card, sentiment card, or tags.

Sunscreen, after-sun lotion, lip balm, gauze, Band-Aids.

How to:

Stamp Hula Gnome onto white card, colour with your preferred medium, then fussy cut around the outline.

Set aside.

Cut white card:

(1x) 6-1/16" x 6-9/16" - Lid

(1x) 7" x 7.5" - Base

Lid:

(1x) 4-3/8" x 3-7/8"

(1x) 4-3/8" x 7/8"

(2x) 3-7/8" x 7/8"

Cut paper:

Lid:

(1x) 4.25" x 3.75"

(1x) 4.25" x 0.75"

(2x) 3.75" x 0.75"

Base:

(2x) 1-3/8" x 4-3/8"

(2x) 1-3/8" x 3-7/8"

Inside:

(1x) 4-3/8" x 7/8"

(2x) 3-7/8" x 7/8"

How to:

Score the 7" x 7.5" piece of white card at 1.5" on all four sides.

Cut on the four outer score lines, up to the intersecting lines, as shown below. Tape in the edges to make tabs.

Fold and burnish all the score lines.

Apply adhesive to each of the four tabs and adhere them to the inside of the adjacent side to make the box base.

Score the 6-1/16" x 6-9/16" piece of card at 1" on all four sides.

Cut away two of the corner sections on the long side, then make tabs from the remaining corner sections as shown below. Taper the edges of the long tab at the back, and the small tabs at the front.

Adhere the small tabs to the inside of the adjacent sides.

Apply adhesive to the outside of the long tab and adhere to the inside back of the box base - lining the 1" score line with the top of the base.

Close down the lid to ensure it fits well.

Adhere the paper pieces to the card pieces for the box lid. Adhere the panels to the lid, then adhere the paper panels to the outside of the base.

Cut a 3.5" stitched circle from white card, and a 3.5" stitched circle from paper. Adhere them together and then adhere the circle panel to the top of the box.

Adhere the inside paper panels, then fill the box with the sunscreen, after-sun lotion, lip balm, gauze, and band-aids.

Stamp the Aloha! sentiment onto a small strip of paper and adhere to the front of the lid. Decorate the box with die cuts and/or stickers then adhere the Hula Gnome into the centre of the circle panel using foam tape/dots.

Hi all. This week I'm sharing how I made this Exploding Thank You Card featuring Gnome Doctor and the Work Life Sentiments set. This is a cute little card that can be adapted for any occasion and is perfect for holding a gift card or even a small gift.

Supplies:

Gnome Doctor rubber stamp

Work Life Sentiments set rubber stamps

White card

Designer paper

Scoring board and bone folder

Pencil & ruler

Stitched circle Dies

How to:

Cut white card:

(1x) 10.5" x 10.5"

(1x) 3.5" x 11.5"

(3x) 3.25" x 3.25"

(1x) 2.75" x 2.75"

(1x) 3" stitched circle

Paper:

(6x) 3.25" x 3.25"

(3x) 3" x 3"

(1x) 2.75" stitched circle

How to:

Score the 10.5" x 10.5" at 3.5" and 7". Flip 90 degrees and score at 3.5" and 7" again. You will have 9 3.5" squares.

Using a paper trimmer or craft knife, cut from the top scorelines, diagonally, to the side scorelines - removing the four corners.

In each of the 4 corner sections, mark the centre with a pencil and score from the where the score lines intersect down to the pencil mark

On one of the 3.5" squares, measure and mark at 1.75" on the edge. Score from each of the corners of the score lines down to the 1.75" mark.

Repeat only on the opposite side.

Valley fold all the score lines. Pinch in the sides and fold up the back/front to make the explosion mechanism.

Cut two of the 3.25" squares diagonally, both ways, to make eight triangle shapes.

Adhere the triangles to the inside of the card each side of the score lines.

Make three 3.25" panels for the inside. Adhere the 2.75" piece of card to one of them for the sentiment.

Score the 11.5" x 3.5" piece of card at 3-9/16", 7-1/8" and 10-11/16"

Adhere a paper panel between next to the small tab. If you are using directional paper, ensure it is pointing up towards the tab. Turn the piece 180 degrees and adhere paper to the opposite end, also pointing upwards.

Apply adhesive to the tab and adhere inside the opposite end.

Fold up the exploding card and ensure it fits inside.

Stamp a sentiment from the Work Life Sentiments set in the centre panel.

Turn over and adhere the remaining 2 paper panels.

Stamp Gnome Doctor onto white card. Colour using your preferred medium, then fussy cut around the outline.

Adhere the card and paper circles together and then adhere them to the front of the card cover.

Using 3d foam dots adhere Gnome Doctor to the circle panel.

Hi all, I'm back this week with another tutorial and this week I'm sharing how I made this Lift the Flap Card featuring Mochi Donut Girl and Mochi Girl Sentiments.

Supplies:

Mochi Donut Girl rubber stamp

Mochi Girl Sentiments rubber stamps

Happy Sentiment Die (retired)

Card

Designer paper (used: P13, Sugar & Spice)

Stitched rounded rectangle dies

How to:

Place a 5" x 3.5" rounded rectangle die into the centre of a 6x6 piece of designer paper and run through a cutting machine until almost to the top of the shoulders. Do not cut over the end of the die.

Score across the top as shown below.

This creates the lift flap.

Take a contrasting 6x6 piece of paper and cut the same sized rounded rectangle from the centre.

Adhere over the piece with the flap, bringing it up about 1/8" so that the flap can open freely.

Stamp Mochi Donut Girl onto white card and colour using your preferred medium.

Apply adhesive to the back of the window piece and adhere down over the image. Stamp the sentiment in the left top corner.

Trim down to approx. 4.5" x 5-5/8" and mat onto a card layer, leaving a 1/8" border all around.

Add another layer of teal/mint paper/card behind the white layer, then finally adhere to a card base.

Cut a piece of paper using a small rectangle die. Score and fold in half to make a pull tab.

Adhere the pull tab to the bottom of the flap. Add a sentiment to the front flap.
