A pesar de estar lejos, he tenido el privilegio de poder colaborar, junto con un montón de artistazos, dentro de la Valencia Disseny Week 2011, concretamente en la zona W, dentro de la exposición Fetichismos que se inauguró ayer en Sex Place (c/Quart nº15). Despite the distance, I had the privilege to collaborate during the Valencia Disseny Week 2011, zone W specifically, in the exhibition which opened yesterday at Sex Place (c/Quart nº15), Fetichismos, together with a bunch of very talented artists. Con mi traserillo aún aposentándose en Londres (llegué el martes por la tarde y la mudanza aún no ha terminado porque falta mil cosas que arreglar), ayer recibí la parte del trato de Txomin, ¡mi retrato! No tengo palabras para expresar lo muchísimo que me gusta, así que sólo diré una vez más, ¡gracias mil, Txomin! Y ahora, todo el mundo a visitar su web, ¡venga!

With my little bottom still settling in London (I arrived on Tuesday afternoon and the process of moving hasn't finished since there's a ton of stuff yet to fix), I got Txomin's part of the deal yesterday, my portrait! Hace unos días, y sin tener para nada en cuenta los días de absoluto caos que estaban por venir a causa de mi mudanza a tierras anglosajonas, propuse un intercambio de retratos en Facebook. Por si no lo sabíais, aún queda gente adorable en el mundo y una de ellas es Sara H. Peñalver, que aunque no pueda hacerle el suyo hasta que no haya aposentado mi traserillo en Londres, me ha hecho este dibu tan guay.

Some days ago, and without having even thought of the totally hectic days that were to come due to my impending moving to King Arthur's land, I proposed a portrait exchange via Facebook. Just in case you weren't aware already, there is still lovely people in the world and one of them is Sara H. Peñalver, who, even though I can't make her protrait until I've settled my bottom in London, has made this gorgeous illustration.

Sé que tengo muy abandonado el 30 Day Drawing Challenge pero ha sido por una buena causa: ¡Renovar el diseño de la web y el blog! Espero que sea del agrado del personal. Hace tiempo que quería dedicarle más tiempo al diseño de la web especialmente, y estoy bastante contenta con el resultado. Además, también he podido actualizar mi CV tanto en inglés como en castellano. Ahora creo que sólo necesito un portfolio en PDF y estaré lista para echarme de cabeza a la piscina porque... ¡me mudo a Londres el mes que viene, amiguitos! :D Pronto, más noticias.

I know I kind of abandoned the 30 Day Drawing Challenge but it's been for a good cause: Renew my website and blog design! I hope you like it. It's been a long time since I wanted to dedicate more time to the website design specially, and I'm quite happy with the result. What's more, I've also been able to update my CV both in English and Spanish. Now I guess the only thing left I need is a PDF portfolio and I'll be ready to plunge into the pool because... I'm moving to London next month, my friends! :D More news coming soon.
