It is such a beautiful place that it has grabbed the attention of thousands of tourists. Railay Beach is located in Thailand and would take its visitors to a world of paradise with its absolutely pristine beaches secluded with turquoise blue water which adds much glam to the lush greenery. It is the perfect getaway for people wanting to relax and enjoy the serene environment. The limestone cliff in Railay Beach is a value addition to this land which attracts many rock climbers as well.

Railay has four main potions known as Pranang, Tonsai, East Railay and West Railay which are significant in its own ways. Railay is on the must visiting list of every Thailand visitor simply because of its true natural beauty which is overwhelming. This magnificent land could only be reached by boat because its main entryway is blocked by the limestone rocks. East Railay is where all the boats arriving from Krabi are docked and is not the ideal place for swimming because of its dense growth of mangroves. West Railay could be reached through a walking trail drawn through a jungle which takes you to the awe-inspiring beach which has made all its visitors gasp at the sight of it. From above the limestone cliff the view is a 360º sight of panorama.

Railay beach is a destination you would find once in a lifetime. It is filled with tranquillity that anyone looking for a peaceful environment wants. It couldn’t get any better with the caves and lagoons that are hidden inland with absolute privacy for lovers who desire solitude. For all those Thailand travellers, a Samui Hotel would be ideal to experience exquisite luxuries in this land. You would be able to visit many attractions around the country if you stay in a conveniently located Samui Resort which gives its guests the best services. Anantara Bophut Koh Samui is where you should head to if you are looking for a luxury hotel to have the best vacation in Thailand. Thailand is a land of beauty which would definitely give you an unforgettable experience.

The perfect chain of islands for the ideal coastal vacation

‘Similan’ means nine and these nine islands scattered in the Andaman islands are found just 50 kilometres from the Khao Lak, a beach resort town in Thailand. With their picture post card appearances, it is hardly surprising that this region has been called to be among the ten best beaches in Asia. Another great news for divers is that it is also considered to be top ten diving destinations in the world. The national park consisting of the islands is also about to make their entrance to the list of Unesco World Heritage sites. It is easy to visit the islands, on boat tours as they are readily available. Although the islands are not occupied by hotels or restaurants to a large extent, there are some ranger stations and bungalows for rent.

With the endless stretches of powdery white sandy beaches and the crystal blue waters revealing so much beneath its surface, and the sun beaming cheerily from above, a visitor tends to share the feeling of belonging to a picture post card himself. It was a sad story when the dolphins in the river alongside Cambodia were killed in numbers. However at present the dolphins are preserved since it has attracted many travelers and helped in the improvement of Cambodia’s economy. Kratie is a city located between Laos and Phnom Penh which is a very convenient spot for tourist to stop over and watch the dolphins. Kampi is a riverside village in Kratie where the Mekong River flows. Visitors can sight the playful dolphins right from the bank. But a ride on a cruise would get you much closer towards these innocent creatures.

Irrawaddy Dolphins won’t come right to the boat even though they can be easily spotted flopping on the water surface. When the dolphins are closer the boat men turn off their engine and reach them through oars. It’s a lovely view to watch the adorable dolphins at play having a nice time above the waters. The Cambodian community has now realized what fortune the dolphins have brought to them. All travelers heading to Phnom Penh make it a habit to stop over to catch a glimpse of these wonderful animals. Kratie is indeed a nice city to stop over. One might notice a variety of tourists mingling at the river bank sipping beer and fresh coconuts.

The river scene is certainly a breathtaking view that every passerby cherishes. Even though this city of dolphins was neglected in the past years it has now come to life and holds a prominent place among the society and world. People visiting Phnom Penh can have a lovely time on their way to the city. Raffles Hotel Le Royal is an ideal stay for the tired visitors arriving after a wonderful time mingling with the dolphins. It is an ideal choice for the travelers to choose a Phnom Penh Hotel since it would certainly make your vacation quite comfortable and interesting. A Hotel Phnom Penh is sure to give you an unforgettable time giving you the opportunity of visiting the many attractions in Phnom Penh.

Dubai Beaches – Play in Paradise

Dubai is probably the most popular of the 7 emirates which make up the United Arab Emirates. Modern, progressive with a somewhat western outlook, the emirate is a popular Middle Eastern vacation spot. While always making the news for its urban developments and shopping festivals, few realise that Dubai has some pretty amazing beaches. Jumeirah Beach is by far the largest and most popular beach in Dubai. Located a mere twenty five minute car ride from the city centre, the beach is a quiet, tranquil place featuring several kilometres of white sands and gently cascading waves.

A number of cafes and restaurants are situated in its vicinity and one can enjoy a refreshing cool drink while watching the activity on the beach. The waters are shallow making it safe but for those who do not want to test the waves there are a few swimming pools at the beach. There are also several picnic spots along the beach that are equipped with wooden benches and barbeque grills. There is also a small amphitheatre where plays and musical shows are held. One can also try out a few water sports here.

Another popular beach is the man-made Al Mamzar Beach Park. Spanning an area of over one hundred hectares, the lushly landscaped beach contains multiple swimming pools, an amphitheatre, and picnic areas complete with barbeque grills. The beach is closed on Thursdays and Fridays. On Wednesdays the place is open only to women and children. Finally, there is the Jebel Ali Beach, situated some forty kilometres from the Dubai mainland, which is famous due to its vicinity to many duty free zones. Winter is the best time to visit these beaches as it can get quite hot during the summer.

Whether one is planning on staying in the emirate for just a few days or for a few weeks it is best to try out Dubai serviced apartments like the ones offered by the Ascott Park Place Dubai. Offering a beautiful landscape of mountains and hills, sandy white beaches, scenic volcanic hillsides and enchanting rice terraces, the area never fails to captivate the visitor. These natural features provide an entrancing backdrop to the island’s vibrantly unique and profoundly spiritual culture. In recent years Bali has acquired renown as a delightful location for spa lovers.

In contrast to the artificial ingredients which are found in conventional beauty products, spas tend to employ natural products beneficial for health and wellbeing. Spas in Bali are health and beauty centres which employ water as the primary ingredient and resource for energy, replenishing body and soul. Spas intend to nurture, pamper, care and calm; by indulging in spa treatments you will be able to detoxify, improve fitness and relax in the beauty of nature. By visiting a spa you can manage stress, restore inner balance and heal bodily and spiritually.

There is no doubt that a spa vacation is an ideal way to restore physical and mental well-being and rejuvenate the energies. In this regard the island of Bali has emerged as a paradise for spa enthusiasts, offering a varied and effective selection of treatments. Balinese massage is traditionally performed with oil, and features long strokes reminiscent of Swedish massage. A full body massage lasting one hour is a popular option, as is the 2 hour mandi lulur, which includes a body scrub with a body mask of hydrating yogurt along with the massage. Another popular favourite is the creambath, a scalp and shoulder massage performed with a rich conditioning cream.

Additionally you will be able to find excellent yoga centres in Bali, offering the best in yoga classes. Quality spas will include facilities like a Pilates Studio, a climbing wall and custom-designed treatments.

Many quality establishments will also provide complementary healthy foods, with low-calorie high nutrition health-enhancing foods. With all this on offer, there is no doubt that Bali is a foremost destination for spa enthusiasts.

Visitors desiring a quality Bali spa resort will be pleased by COMO Shambhala Estate Bali. Located at the bottom of a cliff this surfing spot is reached by climbing down steps built into a ravine. The beach is really a small sandy area with a cave and surfers have to paddle out to catch the waves. At high tide the sandy area is indiscernible from the rest of the sea. The surf is generally between 1 meter and 4 meters high but is known to go higher according to the weather. Four different types of waves attract surfers to the site. Temples a wave that manifests itself during high to mid tides, the Peak that comes up all the way to the cave during high tide, Racetrack a really hollow and fast barrel that manifests during low tide are some of the waves well known among the surfing community. However a wave known as Outside Corner is the most popular of all. Approximately 100 meters long at low tide, the white sandy beach approached though a cave and a series of steps down the cliff slopes gently into clear, warm turquoise waters capturing the imagination of many visitors who find it delightful. A part of it is shaded by trees on the cliff and a part is an overhang gouged out by wave action. Although the sea is calm here for most of the year being protected by a reef, at low tide one can only enjoy the beach but not the sea due to the coral protruding from it. Several beach huts or ‘warungs’ are found on the edge of the beach. Visitors can catch beautiful sunsets from the beach itself or from the top of the cliffs, in little local cafes. The beach was made famous by the 2010 Hollywood movie Eat, Pray Love.

Suluban Beach on the other hand provides a secluded beach experience. Although it is connected to Uluwatu beach it is not overrun by the surfing crowd. This beach is also reached by coming down steps along a steep slope. It is accessible even when the tide is up and when the tide recedes it exposes large tracts of sea weed and rocks which is interesting to explore but is not suited to swimming.

Other beaches of note in close proximity to Uluwatu which visitors rave about are Balangan in Pecatu, a 200 meter sandy stretch known for its high rollers and Nyang Nyang known to produce 50 to 150 meter rides during all tides and Dreamland also a pristine stretch of sand popular with surfers and other beach users.

If luxury, elegance and comfort are high on your list of priorities on a visit to Bali then Alila Villas Uluwatu should be your choice. Along with this idyllic coastal setting are the countless water sport activities on offer which provide hours of fun in the sun and surf for young and old alike. Snorkelling is a fun activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family, while other exciting water sports include surfing, windsurfing, diving, parasailing and kayaking to name a few. However, those looking to experience a truly unique outdoor activity can take part in night fishing.

Since the seas that surround the Maldives have an abundance of marine life, fishing has always been a popular pastime and even a way of life for those dependant on it for their livelihood. While fishing during the day offers its own set of thrills, engaging in this activity at night provides a one of a kind challenge.

Night fishing tours usually set off just before the sun sets and the boats or traditional vessels known as ‘dhonis’ anchor near a reef amidst the changing colours of the sky. As the sun’s rays begin to fade and a canopy of stars adorns the night sky, fishing lines are dropped in the water as the waiting game begins amidst the gentle rocking of the boat. Among the fish one may catch during a night time expedition include squirrelfish, snappers and emperors. Some tours also help in preparing your catch for dinner which makes your night fishing experience all the more memorable.

Those looking for more adventures at sea can also indulge in big game fishing during the day. Challenging both amateurs and professionals alike, this exciting sport gives you the chance to reel in such prized species as barracuda, swordfish, wahoo and sailfish.

Travellers in search of well equipped Maldives hotels that are ideal for a couple’s getaway or a fun family holiday can stay at Adaaran Meedhupparu. While some are just limestone cliffs, others offer mangrove forests, isolated sandy beaches, waterfalls and caves, wildlife and excellent dive spots. Hire a luxury yacht, a Chinese junk, a long tail boat or a speed boat, whatever is suited to your mood at the time and head out during the day or at sunset. A picnic lunch is a must during the day as is bathing and snorkelling gear. It is even possible to linger longer to avoid the crowds that will intrude in your space.

Among the islands scattered off the coast of Krabi and ideal for a relaxing day out are the Phi Phi islands a set of six most of which are uninhabited except for Phi Phi Don. However, Phi Phi Leh is the one that’s famous having been featured in a Hollywood movie. While it is stunning the other islands in the group too have their own distinct identity and charm.

Koh Yung, Koh Mai Phai, Bida Nok and Bida Nai complete the group. Other notable islands are Koh Mook with its own set of four rocky islets and Koh Lanta with its 27 km coastline, and a national park great for viewing wildlife and snorkelling. One of Koh Mook’s tiny islets sports a cave and a lagoon in its centre with a semi circular beach surrounded by vertical cliffs. The only way to see this is to take a canoe or swim through a 70 meter tunnel. The main island of Hong Islands which are part of a marine national park offers very special snorkelling and diving experiences and is home to a hidden lagoon. Another of the islands is a place to collect edible swallow nests. Each of these off shore islands abounds with beautiful natural features and is ideal to be explored on foot, lying on pristine white isolated sandy beaches and snorkelling to see the corals and marine life below. Take a trip along Krabi’s enchanting coastline and discover why it is always described in superlatives.

Stay at Anantara Si Kao Thailand located in a dream destination where holidays mean making most of the fantastic amenities and facilities of a prominent Krabi resorts and enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings.
