The F Family is on vacation in Santa Barbara so we captured some beautiful photographs on the beach. The girls were so sweet and so much fun. How lucky they are to have a best friend as a sister. It makes me wish my sister lived in Santa Barbara again. Oh how I miss you!!! Photographing the F Family was a blast! We picked a perfectly sunny day… No clouds no June Gloom carrying out until August!!! It is finally beginning to feel like summer. Little Miss S is now 9 months old! The time really does fly by. This family is one of my favorites to photograph in Santa Barbara. I first met Robin and Bob at the Santa Barbara Baby Fair last year and then met their beautiful baby two months later for her newborn session. It has truly been amazing watching her grow. I cannot wait for her one year session in November!!! Speaking of Baby Fairs, come stop by this years event at Oak Park on September 18th.

It is so perplexing how fast children grow, it all flies by in an instant. Photography captures the truth about childhood: childhood is fleeting. From the moment a child enters this world they encounter change. It is inevitable. Hold onto today.

I have been part of this family’s life for almost three years. It makes me so incredibly happy to be able capture images of these children, just as they are, over and over again. They have each changed so much in the time that I have known them and through these photographs each major milestone can be cherished forever. It is so important to photograph or video your child, they will be able to have these keepsakes for years to come.

Happy Second Birthday to one of my dearest friends. Blakey it has been a joy and an honor to watch you grow, I love you little buddy! Hold onto today.
