I'm a day late! I apologize. I went out of town for the weekend and couldn't get to a computer until this morning. Hope everyone had a good weekend, here's a week of deals for ya:

Tuesday: Neighborhood Night at Seabright Brewery

Wednesday: Nite Owl Cookies has a nice Wednesday night dozen deal

Hello again Monday! A new week begins, here's a look at some deals that we have listed for the week:

Monday: How about Indian food? Try Royal Taj, $8.95 Lunch Buffet

Tuesday: Try Happy Hour at Vida lounge, tons of appetizers and drinks under $5

Wednesday: Head to the beach and see what's happening in the capitola village.

Thursday: Tacos on the Wharf? Thank you, Olitas.

Friday: Head to the Crow's Nest for some live music upstairs at the Breakwater Grill.

Saturday: Start the night right (and light on the wallet) with drinks and appetizers at 515 Kitchen & Cocktails. $3-5 from 4-7 p.m.

Sunday: Brunch at Johnny's Harborside, mimosa and bloody mary specials. 10a.m. - 2 p.m.

While we are on the subject of Thai food, let this be an official call out for information on more Thai restaurant deals, especially My Thai Beach in Capitola. I keep getting comments all around the site with a link to their restaurant, and I'd LOVE to put their deals up if I could just get some information! Hehe. So far I haven't had any luck. If you know anything about their deals or any great Thai deals in our area, please share them with us!

I was just about to post about Ideal Bar & Grille Karaoke on Fridays at 10 p.m, when I noticed something - their prices have dropped! Their deals seemed to drop $3-$4 each, plus they added a "Seafood Catch" deal for Thursday, and extended Monday's Baby Back Ribs to Sunday, too. Check out the post:

Bento Box at May's

The Bento box in my opinion, is the perfect, albeit extremely filling, lunch. Everything you need in a perfectly divided little tray. May's Sushi has a great deal on a Bento Box lunch:

$8.95 Bento Box with Soup, Salad & Rice

You get two items with it, that you choose from two groups. See the post here. It's a lunch deal, so get there between 11:30 and 3:30. Though, I think they close at 3:30 so you might want to go earlier.

Aloha Island Grille

Need an idea of what to eat today? Don't forget Aloha Island Grille! Their food is DELICIOUS, plus, now you can get brown rice on any plate. Plus, they have great deals, everyday!

I don't know what it is about their macaroni salad, but it's nothing like I've tasted elsewhere. They add something to it that makes it perfect. I love it! They also have a great ramen style soup:

Whether it's because pay-day is a little too far away or because you're getting ready for the inevitable tax time, the "Under $5" category can really come in handy. Every time a restaurant has a deal under 5 bucks, it's thrown into the under $5 zone. You can easily get to this on any day, but clicking the large "Under $5" button, or using a drop down menu that will quickly sort it out for you. So that's just what I did, here are today's Under $5 candidates:

Update: Bocci's Cellar

My apologies! Apparently Bocci's Cellar no longer offers the burger deal, I just found out about it and I removed it from the site.

Which brings up a good point, most all of the posts on the site have been user submitted, so it's more like "word of mouth" information. Sometimes a restaurant owner or employee does send me information, which helps verify accuracy. Though, if you're ever concerned or suspicious, it's always a good idea to call the restaurant and double check a deal before you head down. This website serves as a resource, a pool of information that many people contribute to, so we can all benefit and keep it as up to date as possible. Though sometimes things change, and I definitely appreciate those of you who have let me know.

I don't know what it is, but i've been really craving a good burger lately. I've got 3 great deals on burgers for today, Wednesday:

Center Street Grill's Neighborhood night: $9.95 - Pizza, Burger or Nachos with a pint of beer.
Bocci's Cellar: $2.95 - 2 burgers and 2 bags of chips, from 2:00 - 4:00

Aside from having great sushi, Miyako also serves a lot of japanese dishes as well, some of which are included in the buffet. When I went here, my eyes were a lot bigger than my stomach - but that ten dollars went a long way!

On another note, I want to thank everyone for hanging in there during these slow times on the site, we are doing a lot of work on what will hopefully be a newer, better, faster & easier site to use.
