I’m way behind again on blogging! I think that is a sign that summer has been really fun & I’ve been able to take lots and lots of pictures for really special people.

And Sara and Ryan are most certainly among that group of “really special people.” We had SO MUCH fun with them down in San Francisco – at AT&T Park and down by the waterfront. Here’s a sneak peak at their engagement session!

When the Sweeney family moved across country to Ohio, they also grew from a family of 6 to a family of 7 . How precious is this group of kids?!?!

We only had time to do some of the twins – so grown up now!!! They are as fun as they look!!!

Summer Fun

The kids and I just got back from a trip to Ohio. Yes, Ohio. It’s a state in the mid-west…but it’s actually pretty far east as far as I’m concerned.

We went to visit dear friends, who I miss terribly. We had the time of our lives!!! You’ll probably recognize all of these kids from past blog posts…only they are so much bigger – growing more and more lovely each day.

Between our two families, we had 7 kids, four ages 3 years and under. The week was beautiful chaos. And we all loved every minute of it. Here we are at the lake!

I never thought I would say this, but Ohio was good for my soul .

As much as I love family life style photography, I love creating these kinds of images for families:

The Whillougby family takes every family portrait at their home showcasing this tree. I was able to see many of them – and it’s fun to see the family and the tree grow and change through the years.

Here’s Grandma & Grandpa with the grandkids

This kind of photography requires a different skill set and way of thinking about pictures – but I love it just as much. Mostly, I love the joy it brings families. I know my grandma has images like this one framed on her walls. It’s a blessing to create that sort of heirloom for other families.
