I have created this blog after much pressure from friends and family, who believe that I have what it takes to develop my skills in the kitchen past just being a home cook.
I am known for my baking in particular, and have a number of recipes I use on a regular basis, some of which are also suitable for those with food intolerances. I’m not restricting this blog to cakes and biscuits though – all things sweet and savoury will be covered here! I am also open to requests for particular type of recipe.
I hope to share my favourite recipes with you in the coming months, and will be providing step, by step instructions with photos for illustration, as I have found them the most helpful in the blogs that I follow.

This is one of my sons favourite puddings, and a perfect warming pudding for when the days are getting colder.
This recipe is another one I came up with for the mums at Thursday playgroup, and is perfectly simple for National Baking Week. I had some Glace Cherries in the cupboard which were calling me, and I thought they would … Continue reading
I had hoped to post this earlier in the week as it has been National Chocolate Week, but this post has been delayed slightly for various reasons, so I’m thinking of it as a last hurrah for Chocolate Week, and … Continue reading
