Sarah-Jane Redmond to appear in The Sorority Wars

Sarah-Jane Redmond has confirmed that she is to appear in The Sorority Wars, a film which depicts the cut-throat world of college sororities. Courtney Thorne-Smith plays the mother of an 18 year-old freshman (Lucy Hale) who snubs Delta, the sorority her mother and her best friend in college (Faith Ford) founded, in favor of Kappa, the more laid-back and less gossipy sorority. The Sorority Wars is directed by James Hayman (Ugly Betty, House M.D, Huff), written by Michelle Lovretta and is set for a release date of 2009.

Sarah-Jane Redmond confirms that she is to appear in a new supporting lead role in the forthcoming film, The Building. Directed by Terry Ingram (Relic Hunter, La Femme Nikita), The Building is set to include Erica Durance (Jules), Adrian Holmes (Monk), David Palffy (Ari), Ken Kirzinger (Rick) and Keegan Connor Tracy as Lilly. Sarah-Jane will play the role of Christine, who is married to Rick (Ken Kirzinger). Additional information on the synopsis of the film and IMDB links will follow when they are available.

Inseparable Sarah-Jane Redmond has confirmed that she will be appearing on Inseparable, the next highly anticipated television series from Shaun Cassidy, creator of Invasion and American Gothic. Inseparable is a modern-day Jekyll-and-Hyde tale about a partially paralyzed forensic psychiatrist (Lloyd Owen) with a split personality whose alter ego is a charismatic criminal. The series is being produced by ABC Studios and will be distributed by the Fox Network. Harper's Island Sarah-Jane has revealed that she is currently working on the forthcoming CBS Paramount Network Television horror/drama series Harper's Island. Sarah-Jane cannot reveal too many details for the time being, as the show's plot is under a tight wrap because of the murder mystery element of the show. Eureka Finally Sarah-Jane admits she had a wonderful time working on Eureka as Doctor Lucy Lennon, otherwise known as 'Doctor Love'. "Director Mike Rohl (Smallville, The Dead Zone), is very supportive of Canadian actors, and rooted for Sarah-Jane to be cast in this part. Colin Ferguson was a fantastic actor to work with."

X-Files: I Want To Believe

The Entrance comes to DVD

Whilst actress Sarah-Jane Redmond takes time out to look after her new baby, visitors to the site will be pleased to learn that The Entrance starring Sarah-Jane as Detective Jen Porhowski is coming soon to DVD. The Entrance is inspired by true events and is based on the 17th century writings of Father Sebastien Michealis, the book Admirable History, and Michealis dialogue with a fallen angel named Baalberith. Described as a scary, supernatural thriller, The Entrance was the winner of the Best Director and Best Actor awards at the Eerie Horror Film Festival and an Official Selection at the Brussels International Festival of Fantasy Film and Fantastic Fest in Austin. The DVD will be available on May 20th 2008 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment and will be presented in 16x9 Widescreen with 5.1 Dolby Digital sound. The Entrance - Synopsis In the early 1600's, renowned exorcist, Father Sebastien Michaelis wrote about a possessed nun, Sister Madeleine, in Aiz-en-Provence, France. The demon possessing Madeleine revealed itself as a fallen angel, a punisher of sinners and a tempter of the innocent. Four hundred years later, Ryan James, a street-savvy drug dealer, escaped from the hands of his kidnappers. Desperate and shaken, he sought out help from police detective, Jen Porhowski (Redmond). In search of the truth and a fight for survival, she is swept into a web of deception as she finds herself in a contest with the forces of this occult. Fans of actress Sarah-Jane Redmond will be pleased to know that the official Taming Tammy website is now open. The site features themed downloads, synopsis, galleries and also the film's official trailer. Taming Tammy is a lively modern day adaptation of Shakespeares "Taming of the Shrew" which takes the battle of the sexes to the extreme with ex-champ boxer, Sy "The Bruiser" Balkovich (Aleks Paunovic), versus feisty sex toy seller, Tammy "The Shrew" (portrayed by Sarah-Jane). Taming Tammy has now been accepted into the Vancouver Film Festival.

Sarah-Jane Redmond completes 60km Charity Walk

Sarah-Jane (who is currently 8 months pregnant) and her sister walked 60 kilometres over the course of one weekend with thousands of other women and men, through the suburbs of Vancouver, raising $4000 for the good cause. The proceeds will help support breast cancer research, treatment, and services through the BC Cancer Foundation. Sarah-Jane would like to extend her personal thanks to the many people who helped support her challenge with kind and generous donations. Opposite is a personal photograph of Sarah-Jane taken during her first pregnancy that she would like to share with visitors to the site.
