Governor Sarah Palin knows how to deal with "big oil." She also knows about having a giant supply of oil in her state.

The democrats, who talk big about "alternative energy," will not give up their gas-hogging cars, but expect us "little people" to do it.

my question for those do-gooders who drive hybrid cars is: why don't you take the bus? why are you still driving? I'm a conservative, and I've been taking the bus to work. I've been using cloth grocery bags since 1995. those busses are running, burning fuel and polluting the air--whether you are on them or not. I see about 25 empty seats on the bus---that's about 20 extra cars on the road, making that much more consumption and pollution. all the while making big oil richer.

They want to use my tax money to fund "feel good" initiatives, while at the same time, they stand in the way of alternative energy. Example: Harry Reid, who continues to block the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste dump in Nevada. the Federal government has spent $11 billion on this project, and it does not serve the purpose for which it was created. I'm from Nevada, so I understand "NOMB"; however, the waste has to go somewhere. And Nuclear power is a clean way to go for the most part.

the appeal of Governor Sarah Palin is spreading; she represents REAL women in this country. Not the elitist, leftist, NOW crowd; but just your average homemaker or career Mom. Palin has shaken up the Alaska political establishment. Now it's time for her to shake up the National political establishment.

Ahdmadinejad, or however you spell it, FEARS women like Sarah Palin. She can take care of business, and he knows it.

it's over for Obama

yesterday I heard Obama use the "lipstick on a pig" analogy; this will not go well for him. what was he thinking? and then there was the bumbling comment regarding his "faith" on sunday.
you might as well take him out of the oven and stick a fork in him, because he's done. as it has been said, this is Obama's election to lose.

Governor Sarah brought down the house last night at the convention. I was wondering how she whould do, etc. and she came thru with confidence and poise.

what a breath of fresh air is Gov. Sarah Palin. Like Gov. Jindal of Louisiana, she is rocking the boat up in the frontier state. This is someone who understands "big oil" for sure, and can therefore deal with it appropriately.
Ladies, here's your chance. With a Democrat-run Congress, you don't have to worry about Roe being overturned. Governor Palin has an honest chance to get into the second highest position in the world. And don't forget, if President McCain has to go under for a medical procedure or God forbid something more serious, then VP Palin takes over as the most powerful leader in the world.
