I encounter many New Yorker's that have issues with various establishments ranging from restaurants to public schools but they are not sure how to retaliate or go about complaining. I wanted to post this information highlighting some of the many ways 311 could be used to assist anybody who may need information or have a complaint about something. Have A Little Love In Your Heart : HOPE 2018

Many people aren't aware of how DHS (Department of Homeless Services) acquires its information about the homeless people living on the streets. Let alone the type of outreach methods used in attempting to provide people sleeping and living in the streets with shelter services. Current statistics say that there is a little more than 60,000 homeless individuals living in the shelters. There is a current estimate of about 3,000 people sleeping in the subways and on the street.

They acquire the number of the people in their shelter system easier than those in the streets as everyone is documented when they enter the city shelter. It is harder for them to trace people sleeping in the streets who are undocumented immigrants, or U.S citizens who traveled here and got stranded and now live on the streets. A few of these people are mentally ill and have no documentation or have been rejected from receiving shelter services due to a lack of documentation.

DHS attempts to bridge this gap through HOPE which is an acronym standing for Homeless Outreach Population Estimate. This is a volunteer based mission as everyday people like you and I volunteer with DHS to help seek out the individuals living on the street in an attempt to count them and connect them to services. Everyday people like you and me know where these individuals are and can possibly assist the homeless guy on the corner in acquiring the services necessary to increase the quality of his living situation impacting his overall life.

We all have experienced homelessness in some way. We knew someone homeless, we, ourselves was in a shelter or simply walk passed and share train cars with the homeless every day.

It's not the greatest thing that we can do to help them but it’s a start. It might be you who breaks through to one of these people that too many of us refer to as "bums". They aren't bums they are people like you and me and everyone in your heart. If you have a heart then you would care enough to have a little love and compassion for the people living in the street. They are not bums; they are mothers, daughter, fathers and somebody’s niece, nephew or son. They lost their way somehow and they too deserve to be found.

Too Bad You Had To Go Bro, Thank You For The Inspiration Tho

Recently, via twitter, I learned of the death of an aspiring rapper named Fredo Santana. He was only age 27 when, according to some sources he experienced a seizure, a side effect of lean . Apparently he was in the hospital during October of 2017 for kidney and liver failure. It is very unfortunate that he stunted his own future, as many artists have done and continue to do with drug and alcohol abuse.

I was hoping to hear other wise and that maybe he had some medical mishap. This was not the case and I began to wonder about many celebrity musicians and aspiring stars that have died at aged 27 due to substance abuse. I started to wonder maybe it's a coincidence; maybe it’s been preordained by GOD. People say you die from what you live by and maybe this is a lesson to the rest of us. These people make it too places and higher financial statuses and they continue to hold onto a deadly and dangerous lifestyle because they are in pain. No matter how big the fame they still have pain and they use substances to block it out in order to function for you and me. He had admitted that he uses Xans and Lean because he misses his dead friends and because past traumas. "How much Xans and lean do you have to do before you realize you're a fucking loser," read Russ' shirt. "Until I can stop thinking bout my dead homies an the trauma that I been thru in my life that's when I'll stop," replied Fredo on Twitter. There's a lesson to be learned this I know and trust so I am sharing it here with you.

These things won’t enhance your skill only God will

These trips you take may seem great but they stunt us all on the rise

Let’s learn their lesson and not be the world’s next big tragic surprise

Can you imagine had he and several other talents held onto their art or God instead of some drug how different these industries would be and

the great things they would contribute? I was touched and sad that I discovered this artist through his death. It inspired me to write this poem for him, them and us.

What's A Natal Chart

A natal chart is a chart depicting the placement of all the planets at your time of birth. It is also referred to as an astrological birth chart, birth chart or a natal birth chart. It is an astrological chart used to give a understanding of the personality of the individual whose information is used to generate the chart. In order for the natal chart to be accurate you would have to know the exact date, time and geological location related to the birthday you want to generate the chart for.

A natal chart has three main parts which are the 12 zodiac signs, the planets and the houses. The chart indicates their positions in relation to the location, date and time of birth. Your natal chart can help one better understand how the 12 zodiac signs, the planets, the houses and how they impact you.

You can also generate natal compatibility charts with the information of two people to get a glimpse of how positive or negative the relationship will be and how the two

may interact based off of the relation of the stars and planets on their charts. Again you want to have the exact date, time and location of birth for accuracy.

A Closer Look At I Have A Dream: Honoring MLK

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day

I noticed that too many people don't know the I Have A Dream Speech in its entirety. I realize that is why people are content with conditions as they are. Why? Because people are comfortable and feel like they are living his dream based off of the last 5 minutes of his very powerful, lengthy speech.

When you take a closer look at his speech you will see that he talks about voting, he talks about important governmental documentation yet for some reason people aren't voting and are completely blind to the information that these documents contain referring to our freedom as a whole.

I find it interesting that people who say and feel like we are living his dream aren't even aware of anything he says prior to the poetic portion of his speech, which is the last 5 minutes of a speech that was like 30 minutes long. Ask your self why don't they play it in full... because you'll be inclined to pay attention to politics and more people of color would vote.

He references how Negroes in NY felt like they don't have a reason to vote and as long as this continues we should not be satisfied. Well, too many of ya'll are satisfied not voting or caring about politics and too many people of color feel like they have no reason to vote... That doesn't sound like his dream when you look at it in full.

How would you know if the government
decides to ignore the constitution and you don't
know what is in the constitution?

Too many of us don't care about these politics and wonder why we face the conditions we face and the government doesn't do a thing. "When the architects of our Republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they we're signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir" ... He continues further on "Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked ''insufficient funds.'' What's he saying there, sounds like we should be paying attention to the government because they aren't following their own by laws created by the countries founding fathers and they will start gypping people who aren't aware of what information is in these documents.

I say this to say don't accept the status quo dig deeper for the truth and you will see how we are miles and miles from hitting the target of his ENTIRE vision. Let's promote peace the way he did, but you must know that in order to do that we have to know the politics because the governments are the first ones to destroy and disrupt the peace.

Dear Mr. King, I think you did an amazing thing

Touching people with the messages the way you did

Speaking to people regardless of their race, class, gender or creed

Unfortunately these days’ important people forget that about you

It’s as though they don’t see the need

The need to connect with what’s different

To learn what’s different and these differences to embrace

The minute you’re something different you are labeled a disgrace

You could be a one of a kind that could never be replaced, yet you’re different and this is a disgrace.

You did this at a time when people were segregated and were knee deep in division

Now the government controls this vision to feed a great division

Now people run and they hide using their tunnel vision to drown out the truth

Thank You 1000 Times: Give A Listen

I am writing to say thank you to everyone for the 1000 downloads on my broadcast (Too bad we can't see the actual plays, LOL) I am especially happy and grateful because, for me that means a lot.

Often times I am surrounded by people who don't listen to me. When they listen, it's unfortunate because now I'm misunderstood and now there's conflict. I've never been the best verbal communicator; I'm quick to write a letter or poem to communicate.

I must admit though, this pod casting journey has been very encouraging and inspiring. Why? Well, because there was a time where I felt like I shouldn't be on Pod bean; let alone any other platform speaking because I am not a great public speaker. Apparently, some people think I have an accent, and talk fast and mumble at times. Despite the struggles that I face verbally conveying messages, something is working. People understand, the messages and jokes are registering and that makes me happy. =0)

I also want to take a moment to highlight the fact that people in general don't make good listeners. People don't listen to God, the people they love the most, family or friends surrounding them. I find it fascinating that people are taking the time to give a listen to my very raw, yet satire based comedic broadcast. I feel like I am being guided to speak to some people through the broadcast; I appreciate everyone who reaches out to me 1000 times ( You get it?! LOL) I encourage you, reach out to me, I don't bite even if it sound like I do. (0=

There is a great degree of sadness, loneliness and madness in the world and we won't combat these things one bit if we don't ring true. That's why I speak from my heart; how I feel and what I think and I don't aim to be offensive or insulting. My goal is to stand corrected, to learn about things or people I don't know much about; so if you give a listen and feel offended reach out to me, don't bash me or tune out. Let's discuss it; how would any of us grow when we don't even know what has to be corrected?

Reveal Your Real Self: Some More on Beauty

I decide to post this message for every woman in America, or on the planet that lives in a society that does not appreciate people for their true self. My social media platform of choice is Instagram. Lately, as I am on Instagram, I've been noticing several post from women whose pages reflect an image of something people would much rather see than who these women truly are.

These women go out of their way to look as glorious as a super model. They paint their faces in masks and then the makeup is not enough. After they are all glammed up they use applications to edit and further perfect an image that suits the world.

I've never really thought twice about the painted faces; I just figured beauty is in the eye of the beholder and to each their own. However, as I scrolled through these "glamour girl" accounts I noticed several "cries for help" so to speak.

One woman a few weeks ago posted that she is not beautiful all the time and revealed her unpainted face in a collage that was surrounded by acceptably beautiful photos of her wearing make-up. I admired her for her bravery as she admitted that there is a drastic difference. At the same time I didn't appreciate that she stated that she is not pretty. I thought she was just fine without her make-up.

Another woman, much younger than the one I just mentioned, had a post about Face tunes and how she isn't going to use the APP any longer. I felt so touched by her post that I spoke about it on my broadcast. I informed her about the broadcast because something told me she needed to hear it. She messaged me back saying she cried... I wanted to cry when I made the post because there are very beautiful women out here being treated UGLY. We are under appreciated by society and most of the people in it. I can stand strong against it, but I realize there are some women who can't, so they conform to the societal ways not realizing that it's going to eat them up inside.

You would think they are happy, but they are not. They have insecurities, they are sad and some of these women would NEVER, EVER DARE step out their rooms or homes without make up. Inside they feel ugly and they cry because of it. Little do they know they are the worlds truest beauties.

Ladies, I hope we all learn to reveal our true selves; embrace it and love it to the point where no matter what, or who doesn't like you or your beauty, you'll love it so much that you won't conceal the real you.

The Art Of My Heart

Another one of those poems. I'm dropping them left and right. Definitely can be classified in life's chapter of love unrequited. Hashtag Story of My Life: I like him, he don't like me...Oh hey, whaaat? you like me, day-um I don't like you....Yeah my story alright. By the time they decide to like me I would have written the love and the passion out of my heart. Just too intense waiting...
This is another one I recently wrote.

My Heart of Art

Thank you for the art YOU left in my heart.

At first I thought I'd fall apart.

Loving someone who doesn't realize my heart, they STOLE.

I want to ask for it back, but not even I would dare to be that bold.

To ask you for something back that you don't even know you hold.

I daydream and think of how things would unfold.

I smile because it's warm, it's loving, it's a silver lining full of compassion, harmony and fun.

When the day dreaming is done, the weeping begun,

It hasn't stopped since the day it started.

The love for you in MY HEART weighs more than a ton.

Frozen and speechless; how will your love I win?

I rack my brain for a solution and I don't know where to begin.

So I write this love out,

These feelings are enough to make me want to shout.

Instead I pout and I can't doubt,

The intensity that I feel is LOVE.

It's warm, tender, nurturing and has been sent from above.

I won't deny it and I can no longer hide it.

I can't act on it, every time I try I fail.

Confirming that my heart must be for art.

Visiting Physics: The Law of Vibrations

I noticed when dealing with certain things there's a point of a challenge. Sometimes it hurts but you respond to the challenge in full force; challenge accepted =0)

I typically am interested to the science behind things and the philosophy to things. Due to that, I have explored things most people ignore. I spend enough time in solitude, being still, that I am intensely intuitive; be it that I am a female or Cancerian, I realize that I am. I have become receptive to things with my intuition, coupled with solitude and a knowledge of things that people aren't aware of, don't take seriously or simply don't pay attention to. I could be on the phone and see my friends... I could tell them what they're wearing. I could be at home and sense that someone is thinking of me; I'll call them and ask what they need and they typically respond with nothing I was just thinking about you. I respond with I know. There are other people who think of me too, I just can't reach them but I'm aware. Some of them are reading these lines knowing I'm speaking of them. If I'm really still and quiet I can tune into conversations referencing my name.

I want to pause and inform you that I'm no different than anyone. The reason for these experiences, I believe is first and foremost because of GOD. Secondly, because I understand the laws of his universe, not because I read about it but I asked about it and for clarity. In short I understand some of these laws that most people don't even know exist. This blog post is going to focus on the Law of Vibration, however many of you may be familiar with the Law of Attraction and wonder why it does not work for you... Well did you know there are 20 universal laws... Now if you have been trying to attract things just know you missed a step in acquiring the necessary wisdom to decipher, utilize and crack that universal law. The Law of Attraction is fueled by the Law of Vibration. The Law of Vibration states that everything is constantly moving and vibrating generating frequencies of both high and low. It further states that everything is made of energy and never rests. When there is a pause in movement it is considered a period of transformation. The vibrations we omit make us connected to, and CAN connect us to people who are vibrating on the same frequency, or wave length if you will. The connections made come through the law of attraction, but its the vibration that puts you in alignment with those thing synonymous with you.

It does not matter if you do not know them. These frequencies connect us to people and things despite the distance or conscious familiarity. The Law of Vibrations refers to our existence on a molecular, or atomic level if you will. The best part of this law is it effects all avenues of life, especially love. Love is a light vibration and of a high frequency.

People who are operating on the same frequency can be receptive of each others needs. NAMES even have a vibration frequency. Usually when people are vibrating the same energy, or frequency harmoniously they can be receptive to each other. I would also like to point out that the 17th universal law is the Law Of Unconditional Love.

I tend to cross reference these things to my scripture for clarity and this is the step people miss. They tend to believe in these laws and misunderstand them because they are not seeking council from God. Simply stated apply these laws in the real world while continuously asking God for his guidance. Once you have the wisdom and willingness to be still and listen to him, you will be able to hear him, his messages and instructions. Allowing him to speak and move through you because you are operating on his frequency of love.

I chose to share this information because of a few recent experiences that I've had concerning someone I don't know well. I realize we are communicating indirectly, be it by accident or intention; it's happening. Then again nothing is by accident. I wish this individual wasn't so doubtful of God's magic in love. I also hope that one day they can admit that they can sense me in the same way I sense them and carry them everywhere I go. Deep down I know they do, but they lack the courage to ACT. I've done my part, so now it's back to my Art.

A ripple for you, A wave for me: Happy New Year

New Years bring us new experiences received from the different rides in life we take. Lately, as the new year has begun I find myself having an experience; a ride of my own. I have a level of intelligence that allows me to look at it from all angles. I consider the fact that scientifically it is stated that we as humans are only using ten percent of our brains... At least that's what scientist say. They even consider the fact that if people were to tap into other parts of their brains then such things like people being telekinetic and telepathic are possible. I think about vibrations and frequencies of life that people function on, especially when we add a vibration and a frequency of love. When vibrating love on the most purest and profound level I think about God. Why? Because God is LOVE. Then I consider the role of God and his hand in how we connect and communicate to each other and the possibility that he can open lines of communication unknown and misunderstood by the world, by mankind. We run and hide from these things; we are frightened by them. I embrace them and explore them because remember he said to have no fear; sometimes he makes us have things that scare us and the people around us. If we allow it, we'll allow fear to make us miss things meant for us that he has sent for us. I even consider the fact that maybe I am crazy, but there's a voice telling me "don't deny what's happening". It's a once in a life time experience. So I embrace it and if the most that'll come out of it is beautiful art, then maybe he gave me this heart for art: I typically don't share but this is a new year and I'm starting brand new.
I want to share this poem I wrote for someone, but I can't share it the way I would like. So here it goes, maybe it's something other people can learn from, grow from and take something from.

From Me, To You

Why is my name hidden in yours?
A meaning hidden to the world and maybe even to you too.
But it's a meaning to me that rings true.
The disguise is clear to my eyes.
I can see things that make my heart sing,
Leaving me feelings that sting.
A burning, no,
A yearning for a passionate love to be shared with you.
Willing to make a fool of myself trying to send hidden messages to you.
Questioning my sanity because of a mental connection I share with you.
But I understand that the clues I dropped may be too much for you.
The separation of space and time can minimize the passion and the love hidden in the signs and subliminal messages I send to you,
Degrading them to such things as lust,
Making my messages something to distrust.
I wish it was lust, I really do.
Why? Because then it'd be easy to walk away from you and the intense feelings of admiration and adoration I feel for you.
I run from the dreams I have of you.
For years these feelings have tormented me as you aren't even a part of my reality.
I prayed asking God to remove my feelings for you, but these feelings he sends firmly every day,
And the more I resist he makes them persist,
Bringing tears to my eyes and some nights I cry
No matter how hard I try, these feeling don't stop.
They don't quit,
Leaving me having to admit,
I don't lust you,
I love you.

The Saga of the Smarties

My 12 year old child recently shared with me something that children are doing in middle and junior high schools. She was trying to record such behavior as proof because it was hard for her to believe and with out the proof she felt like it would be unbelievable to adults. When she finally told me what some students in her school were doing; I couldn't believe it myself. I took the information seriously and the very next day I informed school officials. During that time I was informed that this was a problem last school term. I was shocked and wanted to share as much about this as I could to help build parental awareness that will hopefully extinguish this behavior.

The Alarming Behavior:

There are children in America attending junior high schools who are abusing the popular candy sweet tarts/smarties and not in the typical way you would expect for candy to be abused. Some preteens and tweens are taking these smarties/sweet tarts and crush them into a powdery substance. They then proceed to snort the sugary powder. Some children "smoke" the substance by inhaling and exhaling out the powder making it appear as tho they are smoking even though they are not lighting a fire.

It's Just Candy:

Interestingly enough some adults feel like it's no big deal. Some people feel as though parents are over reacting and that they should be happy that it's just candy and not a paint thinner or some actually drug. People walking around fail to see that this behavior at such a young age sets the premise for drug abuse in relation to coke, paint sniffing and crushing aspirins or other prescription drugs for snorting. These people who feel like well it's just candy fail to see that its not just about the candy but the behavior.

There's Not Enough Awareness:

As I began researching this activity of smoking and snorting the candy I found some news articles that date back to 2009 from sources like Fox News and the Wall Street Journal. This phenomenon is nearing a decade of being a thing in Middle schools across America and there is not enough public awareness regarding the activity. Not only is this issue not getting the publicity needed but many people aren't aware of the medical side effects of such behavior.

The Medical Issues:

I truly doubt if the children who are inhaling and snorting the candy are aware of the negative health effects. Not to mention that I don't believe that parents who brush the activity off know how deadly this activity can be. Inhaling or sniffing these candies can lead to a slew of medical issues such as respiratory problems, asthma, nose maggots and in some cases even death. In my opinion the nasal maggots or Myiasis of body cavities are by far the worse of these effects and can result in death if the parasites reach the brain.

I'm pretty certain noody wants maggots eating away their brain so I would suggest you inform all the little kids about these nose maggots. Then show them the nastiest videos to creep them out and I bet you they will not want to even EAT the candy.

Here's a video I shared with my preteens just to make sure they are too freaked out to want to be near the candy. I was kind of freaked out myself. Have a strong stomach before you CLICK HERE. The video shows the removal of such maggots from the nose.

If neglected they can spread to the brain.... The one is super creepy guys make your kid watch these videos and tell them this CAN happen if you continue with the snorting, inhaling the smarties.

Educational Online Resources

Recently I made the decision to home school my youngest daughter. Honestly I feel it is the best thing I could have done. I realized that my daughter was not adequately taught in the public schools. I did a small experiment and spoke to several mothers at different schools and had them ask there 2nd graders a few simple questions that you would think a second grader would know.

The questions that I asked them to ask their second graders were:

Do you know what an Illustrator is?
Do you know what a consonant is?
What does it mean to multiply?
What are odd and even numbers?
What is a fiction story?

I chose these questions because by the time your child is a second grader they should be able to identify these things even if the have to give an example. In kindergarten and first grade they should be learning all about the alphabet and the types of letters like vowels and consonants. For some reason most of the second graders involved did not know what a consonant was, nor could they provide an example. However they made it to the second grade without knowing these things and are given homework asking in depth questions about the main idea and most of these kids can't read and are still developing the fundamentals of reading and writing.

They should know what an even and odd number is. Although these children can provide an example of what an even or odd number is they don't have a good understanding of why it is an even or odd number.

Many of the second graders are not accurately explained what multiplication is. These children are believing it's like adding but can't explain why is it like adding. You the parent has to explain to your child accurately multiplication is like adding because the number gets larger because you're adding groups of something. or you have to explain its adding the same number over and over a certain amount of times.

All the story books these children are reading in school with pictures you would think they learn about illustrators in the first grade.

I'm not saying that these things are not being taught; I'm saying it's not being accurately taught in the inner city schools. The over crowding in the schools prevent your child from understanding and connecting the way they should with the material. That is why you the parent have to re-teach them everything they learn in school at home...

Well, why are you sending your child to public schools? So their teachers can get a paycheck for not effectively teaching your child?

Start investing in your child's teaching at home until they get to 7th or 8th grade that way you can be certain that they are connecting, registering and maintaining the information that is taught.

Reptilians: What Are They?

During a recent search online pertaining to the Illuminati I came across an interesting concept referring to something called Reptilians.The existence of reptilians is dismissed by mainstream media typically unless they are mocking the idea or referring to it as a conspiracy... but is it?

There are a wide range of people who believe other wise and have spent an extensive amount of time researching these creatures, their existence and how they could possibly be manipulating mankind. These individuals provide substantially supportive documents, theories and information surrounding their theory and rationale.

Just Ugly All Around

Several sources believe that these reptilians are aliens who have been manipulating things since the very beginning of our time. Other sources feel they are demonic in nature and aim to cause harm to mankind leading human beings to their destruction. These reptilians are said to hold powerful positions in society, such as government officials, mainstream entertainers, members of the secret society and members of England's royal family to help them continue to manipulate and maintain control over humans. These reptilian creatures are believed to be directly tied to the Illuminati and are the entities that are summoned by certain entertainers, public figures and national leaders allowing the reptilian to embody them. Giving the reptilians the ability to be present in our reality. In other words they are possessing these people; taking over them, in the same fashion as a demonic possession. They perform various rituals to enable the entity to embody them.There is also the idea that they don't die; they travel through time and embody different shells until their mission is accomplished.

Although on the surface they appear very human; when observed closely on lookers may notice changes in the pupil, eye movement, blinking patterns and deformities beneath the skin that are prevalent. They try hard to stay out of sight but if you ask, you will see with your own eye. For reasons unknown to me cameras catch them shape shifting easier than the human eye.

With all the speculation it leads us to wonder if it is true. Me, I don't know, but I know it is possible and I won't be walking in the blind even if my eyes are closed. Keep your faith and nothing will/nor can it touch you.

Today, tomorrow and yesterday are the days which make up our lives.

The days we celebrate.

The days we worship.

The days of the past, present and future.

The past has left us and said goodbye.

The past is still making history for some of us.

Some of our pasts and futures have been told.

They have no present nor future, their life story has been told
Now there is nothing else to be said.

The present is being done now.

Someway, some how, it is being done now.

The words we speak

The movements we make.

Our present is told as we go long.

It’s like a never ending song.

Most have a present, while others simply do not.

The future is yet to come.

It hasn’t arrives but will soon be here.

No one knows what the future will bring

Good, bad, happy or sad

The future is the steps we will soon take

The words that haven’t been spoken.

It is the end of a story that hasn’t been told.

The future can be good to some, while being bad for others and we don't truly know what will unfold.

Truth or Myth: Plastic Rice

Recently I was doing research regarding diets but during the process I stumbled on several sources regarding "plastic rice". Based on my finding I attempted to engage people in discussion about the plastic rice. No one had a clue as of to what I was talking about. I decided to create this post explaining the plastic rice and provide links to sources so you can obtain information pertaining to the plastic rice controversy that began during recent years.

To my understanding plastic rice is a product made of potatoes,mixed with sweet potatoes and synthetic resin. It is said to be cheap to make, allowing producers to profit more although they argue that it would be more costly to make.

The plastic rice, also considered a "fake rice substitute" is being dismissed as a falsehood in places such as Africa, China and other parts of India. The government and health administrators of these areas investigate the claims and have ruled such claims as false and refer to the "plastic rice conspiracy" as merely a rumor and/or myth. They further claim that if plastic rice was being created it would be more costly. Despite the fact that there aren't any known, confirmed cases people continue to believe that plastic rice is in fact being created and distributed. There are several ideas to why people believe in the rumors, one being that "fake foods" have been produced in the recent past in some of the countries being accused especially China.

Despite officials attempts to dismiss this "rumor" civilians are concerned and strongly believe that several food factories in their countries are guilty of producing potentially harmful plastic rice. Their concerns have lead to many online videos providing ways to identify the plastic rice.

Back To School: Attendance Facts Every Parent Should Know

Your kids are in public school??? You should know that the public schools are a political entity. They get money for students attendance. They receive money for the number of students attending. They get bonuses based on their ability to keep a clean record and more importantly money is distributed depending on how they are ranked among other schools.

Have you felt that now-a-days a lot more inner city school students are medicated based of the school concerns more so than ever before... Well did you know that they get paid even more money for the kids who have special needs and need psychotropic medication?

Well I know this and I'm sharing the information because parents are constantly threatened and SOME, not all but there are some of these parents are threatened by schools when their child misses a day or two, here and there. I had the fortunate experience and had an Assistance Principal(AP) try to intimidate me by blurting out her face that she is a part of the attendance things and certain things can happen, "Like an ACS case"... I responded with OK.

Notice she never explained the why or how; they never do. Their goal is to intimidate me or any parent so they'll be frightened to keep their child home even if it is in his/her best interest. I am aware that this happens all to frequently so I will explain what they aren't that way you can manage your child's attendance to suit your child's and your family's need. However before we get into the Attendance breakdown according to the DOE and NYC I want to stress the importance of making them aware of why your child is out as soon as you can. That way they can not say you never told them. Find away to email them and document such exchanges because remember like most things politics they aren't always. Don't think twice that they won't deny speaking to you if it fits their needs. Email them all day. Write letters take a picture with your cell phone. If claim they lose the letter at least you have proof of it.

Above this passage you will see a screen shot I took with my cellphone. It is a section of "Regulation of the Chancellor", I have scrolled down to the section that explains when and how a school is allowed to fill up form 407. Which is really a referral for outreach IN THE EVENT That you failed to notify and/or communicate with the child's school pertaining to their absences. They can try to claim educational neglect but when you have reported to the school and documented contact, have proof and witnesses as of to why the child was not present; and the send out ACS to investigate and it is unfounded, at which point you inquire how to report the school for a false report. They will explain to you what can be done.

Also if you noticed there has to be a huge chunk of days missed with no communication before they can call on you.

Be aware of the fact that there are educational lawyers that can explain to you further of what steps can be done to protect yourself. They will also help you identify if you are being harassed; some schools are obsessed with their records and will try to harass parents and BULLY them by threatening them with ACS. Additionally it is against the rules for a school to tell you before hand that they are calling. Once you have open communication and their only concern is attendance. Let's say your child is not starving,your child has no signs of being physically abused and you explained to school officials the situation be it medical, or death in the family or some other issue they should be working with you not making threats like the assistant principal has recently done to me. As Parents we should stand up when we notice this treatment and increase awareness of such horrific treatment given when there are real situations that your family is dealing with.

Solar Eclipse of 2017 TODAY!

There's a Solar Eclipse happening today. A solar eclipse is when the moon passes between the sun and earth Scientists have admitted that it IS OKAY to look at the eclipse once the moon is covering the sun completely. making the day as dark as night. There is one said to occur around (now, depending on your location) 2 p.m today. The majority Americans have been lead to believe you can not look at the eclipse with the naked eye. It's true, you should not try to watch the eclipse with out special glasses that you can purchase in various places.

It is unsafe to look at the eclipse directly as it is occurring; I want to make that clear. We all are interested in seeing this as it is the first one since 1918 view-able from coast to coast but be smart today as we experience this rare moment because you can severely damage your vision. NASA believes that we won't experience another eclipse as such in the USA until the April of 2024

CAT FOUND!!!!

I found my Sunshine ironically at 3 A.M when the sun is not out. It's because cats are nocturnal and knowing this I was literally outside during the night hours. Understanding their finicky nature I knew it'd be in the night that she'd be running the streets.

I need to be honest and admit that she popped up after all the fliers that I had posted and given out. It could be that she was caught by someone who wanted to keep her and realized that she had an owner and they brought her back to the block they grabbed her from. It could have been anything that brought my cat back home. Including the fact that I was calling her name for days and it stopped raining. It could've been anything, even God in heaven. Either way I am very thankful and extremely happy to have this furry member of my family back home where she is safe and spoiled.

It's amazing how when you have a pet that you care for everyday you never realize how much you love them until they are gone. I had the unfortunate experience of my cat going missing. It's been exactly 27 hrs; and every minute, of ever hour of every second I'm worried about my precious kitty, Sun-Shine.

I made a flyer and want to post it EVERYWHERE; hoping somebody, somewhere might see her and return her to her very loving warm family who are crying and devastated.

Charlottesville

On Saturday, August 12th 2017 the United States was terrorized by it's own citizens. There were people in Charlottesville, Virginia assembled peacefully to demonstrate their feelings against the removal of a Statue depicting General Robert Lee. In Ohio, 8 hours away from Virginia, Neo Nazi's got wind of this and decide to drive there with malicious intents in mind.

These individuals drove their speeding car into the crowd, injuring many and killing 1 civilian and 2 State Troopers. When the man was apprehended it was reported that he stated " it was magic happening" in response to the situation he created.

NYC Does Not Support Trump

An upheaval in NYC would later occur as people in the city decide to protest in Manhattan against trumps initial and casual response to such a devastating and Grizzly act. The president casually responded to such a horrendous and tragic event, meanwhile Jimmy Fallon delivers a touching and passionate speech in relation to the horrific events.

The sad thing is that both parties,the protesters and counter protester where mainly white. If they can do something like this to each other, while the President is being dismissive of such behavior, just imagine what they might try to do to people who are Black, Chinese, Indian or anyone else who they can't identify with or don't agree with.

Kissing Breast: Legend's Wife

If you notice her breasts appear connected in the middle

I happened to be on Instagram and I stumbled upon a photo of John Legend and Wife. I have been trying to learn how old the image is and have not been too successful. I did notice some VERY, VERY wrong comments about John Legend's wife and her breast. There were people clowning on this beautiful person because how poorly of a photograph it was. You can tell she was on her everyday, normal routine and somebody took a very uncomplimentary picture of her.

I noticed in the comments people on Instagram arguing about her breast and why they are attached in the middle the way they are. People were actually saying in response that "this is what happens to breast after you have children". I want to give people accurate information because the people on Instagram (and there were a lot of people) ARE totally wrong.

Having your breast attached in the center like that is your DNA. Some women have it and some don't. Some women have what's referred to as touching or kissing breast, such as John Legend's wife. Women who have kissing breast or touching breast simply means that their breast are attached in the middle where their sternum is. The other type of breast women have are separated breast because their breast don't touch in the center and you can see their clearly sternum. The only accurate thing that these individuals stated was that your breast sag after birth and I want to highlight that's from the act of breast feeding. In other words if you don't breast feed then your breast won't sag.

On a personal note that center connection of breast is creepy to me, but I'm not a heterosexual male so don't be mad. It's creepy to me to the point where I don't want people thinking that about women with children because I have three of them and I don't want to be associated with kissing breast, especially since I don't have them.The only physical alterations on your breast you'll experience from breastfeeding are stretchmarks,
pealed nipples and/or elongated breast. Please people don't think that every woman has "kissing breast" because they had kids

I enjoy the concept of podcasts so much that I decided to create one. The podcast that I newly created shares a lot of my comedic material.Typically the type of thing you would herar during stand up routine. I wanted to share the broadcasting here with my enjoyers, A.K.A readers/followers because not only do I feel that you'll enjoy it, but now you'll have the voice of the person behind the words you are reading. What's A PodCast?

Recently I have learned about podcasts and until it was suggested that I try one I never even heard of them. I asked the individual what's a podcast and they responded with, it's like the radio. I'm thinking cool, so I'll be like the radio. I appreciated their response, but I really didn't understand the concept; so I went to Google to do some quick research enabling me to have clarity on podcasts.

Podcasts are digital audio files used for entertainment or informational purposes. They can be streamed over apps and downloaded on the computer. There are several video type styled podcast, which are commonly referred to as video podcasts, vod casts and video casts. To my understanding, video casts can be done differently depending on the creators vision. They can create the audio podcasts primarily and attach it to whatever visual file they want to corresponding with the verbal broadcasts at a later time. The other way a video cast can be presented is be live streaming; meaning you'll be seeing the broadcaster as they record.

I thought it was interesting enough to look into and found some very interesting places that offer individuals the chance to listen to podcasts for free and even give them an opportunity to create them. Pocketcast, BeyondPod, Podcast manager and Stitcher Radio just to name a few. There are a lot of interesting broadcasts out there and I am enjoying my experience with pod casts so much so, that I wanted to share on my blog what pod casts are to people who may not know what they are or fully understand how they function.

Yes, you're favorite blogger ;0)

I am happy that there are those of you who continue to be loyal to my blog and my google+ despite the gaps in updates. I also want to emphasize a big thanks to those of you who have emailed me inquiring about future posts. I have to be real and say that life happens and sometimes life gets in the way of those things one may want to do because of those things that they have to do.

For a while I lacked having the free time and availability to tend to the internet or post blogs due to real world struggles. My living situation was all kinds of fxcked up and I ended up in a NYC shelter with my 3 children and the easiest way to navigate that system is by earning a "countable income". Blogging and performing in comedy shows do not count as "countable income", that is a form of self employment and that does not qualify as real work to people running the shelters in NYC. I had to go and get a job breaking my back sometimes doing more than 40 hours a week and unfortunately, I was making less money than I was making delving in the arts.

During this time I found out who really was there for me and pretty much my 3 kids were there for me and several relatives. I grew closer to an old class mate from a bar-tendering school I graduated from during 2015, an ex-coworker became a good friend, I made a really nice connection with a few of the decent shelter residents who lived in the same building as me. Even my children's father started being kinder to me. I am very grateful for the few people who were there for me during such a strenuous time in my life.

Despite the fact that there were several people at this dark time in my life who were there being morally supportive. There were other people who were doing their best to make my life go pitch-black. Fake friends disassociated their self from me. I was taken advantage of by a guy I went to high school with and had a co-worker pretend that he wanted to be with me because, I guess he had a hero complex only to later find out that he had a girlfriend the entire time he was attempting to pursue me. Now it makes sense why he cold cut me off when things got serious.

Maybe She wasn't feeling secure

I was even insulted by a fellow comic because I disclosed to her that I could not be supportive because of my situation but it would be nice if she would act like a friend and ask how I'm doing from time to time. This lady starts talking about how its not her fault I'm in the shelter and why should she care. To be honest with you I didn't even read the rest of her bull shit message because that was a very harsh, cold and all around fxcked up way to respond to someone already dealing with hardships. All I was trying to do was let her stuck up, snotty, heartless, mean ass know that at this point in my life I can't be that supportive because me and my children are in the shelter. Oddly enough that message in her head morphed into me saying it was her fault we were there and all I did was inform her of my living situation. I felt like all her silly requests to come here and go there was over whelming for me and because I was attending her shows prior to this, I'm thinking she'll understand why I'm not going to her shows. Now, I want to highlight the fact that this female has NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, NEVER done a thing for me. Like, I NEVER EVEN asked this ruthless lady for a damn thing, not even to come to one of MY shows!!! She never did a damn thing for my kids either; never even met them, so that right there should have let me know she was never a true friend. I don't know what kind of drugs she was taking to feel that she had to state that. Plus this is someone who is a nasty drunk, I don't even drink so why am I even talking to you're alcoholic ass; maybe she was drunk when she responded because alcoholics be abusive like that. Either way I blocked her and held my head up high and kept it moving. I don't need that type of heartless, cold person in my life. Like she didn't even ask how my kids were... Anyway, what goes around comes around, it's called Karma, Namaste that because for someone always posting that she surely does not understand the concept of Karma. And if she just so happens to read this and feels like she did nothing wrong, well you don't kick a horse when it's down; but know this lady, when we fall down, WE GET UP, and now I'm standing and walking, and soon I'll be running.

I must admit that when that happen I was disappointed and insulted because I actually thought she was a friend of mine. When I received those messages I had the realization that she was never a friend of mine, she just was another phony fake ass bxtch in my life using me to make her look good because I'd go to her shows making her seem like she has a following. Well, now I'll never go to another one of her shows and if we end up in the same line up and they cal you first I'll make sure to go to the restroom and listen to some music because cruel, evil bxtches like that don't exist to me and I'm not paying them any attention.

I chose to share this with you, my readers because I can only imagine what some of you may be experiencing in your life and possibly by yourself, surrounded by people who are kicking you when you're down when all you need is compassion and a true friend. In case your wondering, no, I am not ashamed nor embarrassed of this experience at all because it has helped me grow immensely as person. The experience has made me stronger and now allows me to understand life situations I would not have thought twice about before. I know now that people you least expect to come at you sideways will be the first to kick you when your down. I have also learned a lot about people from all walks of life that I never knew. The best part of it all is now my life is returning to normal besides that; it all makes for good content.

Always see the plus side.
