My family!

2012-08-27T08:02:00.001-07:00

Yesterday my mom took the most amazing maternity photos of my little family to be! I knew she would give us great photos but she really did exceed even what I had in visioned!
I'm so happy with the honesty of them, just Kenny and myself being us.. Loving and lounging! Thank you so much mom for capturing something so special for us!

Chicken Enchilada's... BUENO!

2012-08-10T19:31:00.003-07:00

So just so you know my palette, I am a lover of extremely flavorful and somewhat spicy Mexican food! That being said there are a lot of alternatives to this recipe to help tone down the extra flavor or extra pop of spice if its not really your cup of tea! I'll include those quick options in the recipe! Also, I'm a definite "pinch of this" "dab of that" type of cook so I really suggest going with your instinct when it comes to cooking, trust me, it doesnt have to be stressful, have fun with recipes, make them your own!

Ingredients
Salt
Pepper
2 Quarts Water
2 Chicken Breasts
1/2 Red Onion (Rough chopped)
Handful Cilantro
Dash of chile powder
1 large can Jalapenos (for less spice, use just 3 fresh jalapenos and de-seed them)
Chicken bullion (adds extra flavor, if you dont need the extra saltiness just use water without adding the bullion)
1 Carrot stick
1 celery stick
Decent amount of cheese (I use cheddar jack)
1 can Olives
about 15-16 White corn tortillas

(Another way to cut some of the spice of the jalapenos is to buy a small can of enchilada sauce and add it in with your own homemade sauce, but I wouldnt cut out your own sauce altogether, you'd be missing out on amazing flavors!)

In a large pot, bring all these ingredients (minus the cheese, tortillas and olives) to a boil! Once water is boiling, add your chicken breasts and continue to boil for about 45 minutes or until your chicken is cooked! To be sure your chicken is cooked use a thermometer and make sure the internal temperature (measured at thickest part of the breast) is at 165 degrees F

Once Chicken is cooked set aside in a bowl and allow to cool..

Now pull out your food processor or blender... From the pot you just cooked your chicken in, you will have an amazing flavor filled broth!

First, scoop all the veggies into your processor with a slotted spoon.. Then add just enough of the liquid to just cover all the veggies! Then BLEND! You may have to do this in two batches if you have a small processor! Also add more water if your sauce is too thick and blend until you have your desired consistency

No you can begin to pull apart your chicken (i just use two forks and shred away)

I like to put my tortillas in the microwave folded in a paper towel for about a minute so they are softer and easier to work with

In my large baking dish I put a little bit of the sauce on the bottom to cover, then I begin my assembly!

I usually assemble by adding some chicken and cheese to the tortilla, rolling and then placing in the pan!

This recipe made about 15-16 enchiladas all packed in! Depending on the size of your dish you might make more or less (obviously lol)

Once I have all my enchiladas all snug in the dish I cover with the rest of my homemade green sauce... Add the rest of my cheese on top of that (I try not to put TOO much cheese because as it melts it becomes so stringy and can be difficult to eat! Just add your olives on top of that! Then cover with tin foil and pop into a 450 degree oven! (The reason we cover with foil is so that your enchiladas dont immediately burn, it creates a bit of a steam zone for even cooking)

Let cook with foil on for about 10 minutes, then remove foil and let go for an additional 5 minutes!

I like to top mine off with some fresh cilantro before serving and I also like to serve with sour cream and lime wedges!

Hope you enjoyed this recipe! Please let me know how YOUR chicken enchiladas come out!! Also follow me on Instagram and Twitter if you have any requests!

Hummingbirds and Baby Kicks... such is life

2012-08-05T19:02:00.000-07:00

I can't believe that in just 15 weeks I will be a mommy... A full blown diaper changing, breast feeding, stressed out MOMMY!

The tummy is definitely obvious these days! People are no longer afraid to ask "When are you due?" or to even start rubbing my tummy for that matter... (Which I must say is terribly unusual, but as long as it doesn't become awkwardly long I usually just go with it)...

The reality of mommy-hood is setting in slowly.. With the baby shower coming in just a couple weeks along with our last ultrasound that same day I feel things slowly coming together... Jackson's room is being painted.. Plans are being made, he's kicking like crazy.. Oh its just such a crazy game of hurry up and wait!

I've tried to keep myself busy with my business and with chores around the house (aka cleaning up after the oldest child Kenny).. But as hard as I try to keep myself distracted I always find myself stopping throughout the day and picturing what it will be like holding onto my darling son as I watch my favorite shows.. what he will smell like... what he will look like... will he look at me and recognize my voice when I tell him I love him? These moments just can't come soon enough...

I was able to spend some time with my mom this weekend in Fresno, I'm oh so grateful to be able to go to Fresno and see her as often as I have these past few weeks.. It was so much fun going to my 10 year high school reunion as well.. It was really nice seeing so many old friends!

But I think my highlight was sitting outside with my mom on Saturday watching all the hummingbirds bickering over my moms hummingbird feeder! It was terribly adorable and I captured some really amazing shots of them all fluttering around the back yard.. I thought I would share them with you!

Thank you to those who take the time to keep up with me and my blog! I truly appreciate each and every one of you! Keep in touch and follow up because I will be getting new video's and jewelry coming up soon! xoxoxo

With love, SaraH

Seriously Sarah? You're not going to blog for almost 2 freaking months?

Yes that is what I'm saying to myself right now... I think sometimes I'm just really, really, ridiculously boring... Wait, damn, I can't use that excuse since I'm currently experiencing one of the most crucial and NOT boring times in my life... Pregnancy...

But I can use the excuse that through out that whole 1st trimester I was pretty much confined to my bed and toilet! Thankfully now, going into my second trimester (tomorrow) I'm feeling MUCH relief and can even eat real food again! lol I'm even considering going for a run... errr... walk here in a little bit! (ya that just a consideration nothing in stone)

What I can do is assure you guys that with the arrival of my new baby... (no not that baby) my OTHER baby named iPad2 I am able to do a LOT more multitasking! I have to admit, uploading a video and editing a blog plus shooting photos and making jewelry all while staying up with emails and of course IG is not easy.. especially when you have a tiny alien inside you taking up all your energy... So iPad allows me to let me laptop have a break and myself while I iPad it in bed when I'm feeling a little too worn out to be in my office! Plus its just freakin' awesome! haha

I hope you guys offer me forgiveness for my absence but I swear I'm going to do better! LOL

Thanks so much for all the love and support you have offered me these past couple months!!

xoxo

Beautiful Chaos...

2012-03-28T17:15:00.000-07:00

Alright guys.. So recently I was sitting in my office that I finally have reclaimed and I was looking around and suddenly felt... pretty... Not like physically pretty but pretty in a way that everything around me just completely suits my personality.. From the colors, to the settings to the "organization" to the company... So I thought i would do a little blog showing you my idea of keeping myself organized..

Now, dont get me wrong.. I am NOT and I repeat NOT one of those girls who has her clothes color coordinated or has jewelry specifically placed in its one little home.. I basically just have cute homey ways of keeping things where I can find them accessible..

Most of my stuff comes from Marshall's Clearance, Micheals and Joann's Fabrics when it comes to frames, bowls, and organizing sets.. So I thought I would take a few snapshots of my office/closet/place of refuge to share with you guys so maybe you could grab some ideas.

I'm a firm believer that I guy things that are beautiful so why not display them? So my closet is always open and my lipsticks and Nail polish is always in view.. it just makes me smile I guess... I hope these help you guys get some great idea's of your own! Love you guys! xoxo

Ducks, and Jewels and Carnivals oh my!

2012-03-27T21:00:00.000-07:00

Ok guys, here's the deal

I am not even going to try to lie and say that I am going to make SURE I keep up with my blog because obviously my nose would be grown so far long by now I'd be able to smell Chinese food in China.. But I am going to update as often as I can and most of my updates will be of my adventures and misadventures of my life.. Being as I have started vlogging now as well It seems sort of repetitive to write the same thing over so I hope I can keep things mixed up enough for you guys!

This isnt a fashion blog.. its not a writing blog.. its just a ME blog.. I just want to keep pieces of my life here for myself and for you guys to share it with and so far sharing my world with you has brought me the greatest friends I could imagine..

A lot of you know that this past week was the cause of a LOT of anxiety for me but I got through it and actually, there were a lot of positives in the week as well.. This blog I'm just going to leave you guys with some fantastic shots I got of the ducks and the carnival a swung by this weekend! I hope you guys have a fabulous week! My time is going to be spent creating new pieces for my jewelry line so keep an eye out!! You may be surprised by some of the things you see! I love you guys and thanks for being there for me through a temoltuous few days! xoxo SaraH

A pain in the TUESDAY!

2012-03-15T21:22:00.000-07:00

Oh what an amazing adventure to have everything I worked so hard on be completely useless to me! I filmed an entire video from "Tasty Tuesday" and edited it like a boss! It came out just the way I wanted it to, I was so proud, but then I receive (what I will now call) the ugliest most frustrating prompt in history! Something about "Not enough space in the heap zone" And apparently this heap zone error is a mystery to EVERYONE including Apple itself!

So after working on this project for 2 days I finally had to give it up and regain what ever sanity I have left...

So today I recorded my video through Quicktime and then exported to iMovie hoping there would be no problem and I'll be able to edit the 17 minute video down a bit.. But once again no such luck.. After Exporting to imovie I discovered that NONE of the sounds matched my lip!@#$$

So I ended up with this entirely too long video but since I wanted to get SOMETHING up I just posted the video straight through.. lol Hopefully its not too obnoxious :-/

Issue #2, I made the mistake of ordering a webcam via eBay used.. The user had amazing feedback, said it worked fine, great contact fast shipping etc.. The when I tried to turn it on... nothing... I went out and bought a brand new battery next... still nothing.. What a pain in the booty that was, so now I'm hoping for a refund..

After that whole mess I worked my way to Target and purchased a Vivitar DVR 1020 HD vlogging cam..(I just want something simple that records in HD) The guy at Target said people love it and he never had a complaint about it but when I got it home I realized that it an extremely dinky little thing that only runs on AA batteries... OMG really? I'm definitely taking it back tomorrow.. What a huge disappointment..

I'm sure you can imagine my frustrations this week.. Its just a fail week for me I think.. LOL We all get 'em once in a while I suppose! Well hopefully I will soon be the proud owner of a decent working camera... I hope.. Wish me luck guys!!

xoxo

Planning some home improvements!

2012-03-10T15:04:00.002-08:00

I dont know why but one of my very very favorite things to do is walk around stores with my hubby! Like seriously, we have the best time hanging out at Target or Lowes! Anywho Saturday we enjoyed a nice little trip to Barnes and Nobles where we wandered aimlessly through the books enjoying our late Starbucks fix.. Then we took a little walk over to Lowes and picked so paint swatches so Kenny can try out some knew techniques (He's a painter) on our walls at home.. Dont worry he's a pro and I trust him! lol Plus we are thinking about starting our own little mini herb garden on our porch which is looking to be a lot less expensive than I expected it to be which is always a plus!

Today was nice and calm, relaxed all through the early afternoon in bed with Kenny and the kitties sleeping and read my entire book (Its an easy read so dont be too impressed) lol

I decided to go to Barnes and Noble again and check the price on another book that I've wanted to check out called Divergent "9.99!?" I said... "SOLD"

After treating Kenny to a McDonlads dinner he took down his big mac while I dipped my delicious french fries in a Strawberry shake.. like mother like daughter!

Now my night is wrapping up with Desperate Housewives (SO good tonight) and finishing up some other things so I'm ready to start another week!

Glad you could stop by and visit my blog, trying to decide on a project to do as a DIY video! I became inspired by all the books in the Crafts section at B&N lol..

Talk to you guys soon! xoxo

Get it together Sarah!

2012-03-05T19:21:00.000-08:00

So I keep telling myself that I need to focus back in on my blog because I always feel so great after a good bloggin' lol

So here I start again, even though its only been a few days I want to make sure I'm as focused on this as I am on all my other ventures because I think there is something therapeutic and more personal about sitting alone and typing your thoughts, no matter how silly they seem at times!!

My life has just been filled with jewelry making and networking! I SO SO SO enjoy spending my days chatting fashion and beauty all day with all the amazing girls I've met thus far! I wake up and immediately jump on instagram to catch what all my overseas girls are wearing! And then I jump on YouTube to see all the gorgeous Outfits of the days and catch up with The Shaytards and CTFxC! (If you dont subscribe to them yet, I suggest you do now)

Of course being out of work I feel some financial stress, although it was a choice to take this time off I can't help but feel like I'm being selfish.. I just try to remind myself that its for my health and future happiness to take this time.. I cant think of a time in my life when I've been more joyful, felt more fulfilled and am more agreeable.. I think all this self motivation and self determination has paid off.. I thank God for opening up this opportunity for me at this point in my life. The other option was not panning out. Life is that much better without drugs or alcohol.. And I have THAT much more money in my pocket lol.

Today I just have a few shots that I took on Saturday while Kenny and I were out and about. Hope you enjoy and I'll see you tomorrow!

xoxo

Surround yourself with beauty!

2012-02-29T17:25:00.000-08:00

Lately I have been reflecting on all the beautiful things that surround me.. from my desk, my jewelry, my kitties to my family and my hubby Kenny... I am a lucky girl. I am grateful for so many things as well.

I dont do it enough but sometimes I am taken aback and stopped in my tracks and realize that I may have less than others, but I have more than most, and I think I have it where it counts.. The love of my family and friends.. The great friends from all over the world that I get to chat fashion with daily! And the love of the greatest man I could ever even describe..

I'll admit, I'm a slave to things at times... I wouldnt mind having a vintage Chanel or some sky high Louboutins.. But when I go to sleep at night, its just me, my little family and my dreams... :-) And lately they have been peaceful

Thank you to everyone who supports/follows/comments/calls/appreciates/laughs with and cares! 2012 has been a great year so far!

Today there are just a few pictures of the beautiful things in my everyday life :-) P.S. I'm trying to focus more on my blog so please keep following :-)

XOXO SaraH

p.p.s Please keep an eye out for a feature on my jewelry at www.confessionsofaproductjunkie.com

Playing with the new camera!!

2012-02-25T21:14:00.000-08:00

So I've been doing a little more working than picking outfits out these passed couple days.. Today especially! I think this is the first day I didnt have an ootd prepared! Maybe I'll snap one in my PJ's/work clothes I lived in today! LOL

Well my birthday came and went... it was great like I said.. Yesterday was cleaning and organizing day.. I set up the spare room as my office/closet/Kennys moms room since she will be visiting for about 10 days next week :-)

We also hit the driving range where I snapped a few pictures of my love whilst getting used to my new camera! Its a Canon Rebel XT and so far I love it! I promise to get back to filming videos on Monday!!

I was also able to get some more Jewelry made which I am REALLY excited about.. I found all these beautiful spring colors that I am in LOVE with! I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I will talk to you soon! Here are a few pictures I snapped with the new camera!! xoxo SaraH

A mellow 28th year...

2012-02-23T22:35:00.002-08:00

So as some of you know, I am not a party girl (anymore) So enjoying a mellow birthday with my mom visiting from my hometown was the PERFECT gift I could ask for! We had lunch with my brother at Cheesecake Factory, made our way to IKEA (of course) and got ourselves lost all over Sacramento trying to find a camera shop.. But I couldnt ask for anything more than spending time with my mom... Getting to hang out for a bit with my brother.. And now getting some work done and relaxing with Kenny.. I have that feeling in my heart of everything just feeling perfect.. I know it never lasts but I am basking in the contentedness I'm feeling right now.. I'll worry about tomorrow... tomorrow!

Other than that I'm anxious to start working on some brand new pieces for SaritaChakita that I think (hope) are going to be PERFECT for spring! I'm living for pastels right now so that might give you a small hint of what to expect!

Also to anyone who has jewelry coming it'll be shipped out SOON! I keep getting new orders and requests so I'm trying to wait a bit and send everything out at once!!

Thanks SO much for stopping by and thanks to all who have followed me and wished me a Happy Birthday.. It means more than I think you'll ever know!

XOXO SaraH

I'm selling the old Snow White :-) I just had to share this sticker because it is the BEST Ever!

JoJo checking out the new stand :-)

Ikea is definitely the mothership, these are a few items I was eyeballing today with my mom.. Unfortunately they were doing a TON of construction so it was a short trip... But on the plus side, that means TONS of new stuff coming out!!

Seriously, I am so very loved! I walked away from my birthday with tons of new stuff for filming and photographing!!

This picture was my IKEA present from my mom.. Dont you just LOVE it? And of course my ham Jade just had to be in the picture!

My birthday outfit for the perfect birthday weather here in NorCal :-)

What's in my Cart Wednesday!

2012-02-22T21:48:00.000-08:00

So I'm starting a new little segment on my YouTube called What's in my Cart Wednesday. The basic premise is just to show you all what I've been shopping online for the week. I love to look at online stores and see what I might be interested in purchasing at some point or maybe decide I dont like it so much after all later on. It'll kind of show you the process of how I like to shop and how I try to find a better deal on things...

There are some things that are just better to invest a little extra $ in in my eyes! But this helps you get an idea of how I decide on what I like and how easily my mind changes. A lot of styles and pieces that I fall in love with I find on peoples blogs or YouTube channels and then go searching for it! And like I said in my YouTube video, I cannot by ANY means afford all the stuff that's in my "carts" or "bags" online.. They just act as a sort of holding area for the things I like..

So here is my first Whats in my Cart Wednesday! I hope you find it helpful and enjoy :-)

Forever 21

LOVING this mint color!

I've been eyeballing wide legged pants a lot lately!

I really love this color as well, I saw Brooklyn Blonde wearing a similar color as well :-)

Urban Outfitters!

Totally tie-dyeish but I really like these! I think they are perfect if you just want to throw something easy on yet still make a statement :-)

Too Cute <3

I'm trying to fall in love with more nudes, this caught my eye.. I'm really needing some nude pumps

I definitely think I can find a top like this at a thrift shop or the Goodwill... Cute!

Love the color/pattern and cutout!

Nasty Gal

Seriously love this funky toe look! Especially this pink with the leopard!! And the chunky heel sells me!

If you saw my video you heard how passionate I am about denim right now! These shoes a dream to me! I think denim is making a comeback, at least for me!

I really want to find a jacket JUST like this but in my price range which is like 1/8 of what it does cost! LOL Keep your eyes open for me!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Accessories to the rescue...

2012-02-20T20:11:00.002-08:00

So today was all about accessorizing for me.. I wasnt feeling terribly inspired to do a video or anything and thought I would just spend the day doing some house cleaning and work on my site.. So when I showered and was getting dressed I just threw on something simple and then slowly started putting on accessories and thought "hey" there's a video right there! So I ended up with a video and some great OOTD shots! Winning! So please go watch my video on YouTube and please Subscribe, Rate and of course Comment :-) Have a great Night! xoxo Sarah

Sweater: Ebay- Pants:Target- Boots:Target- Belt:Marshalls- Scarf:Goodwill- Chain:SaritaChakita in Sexy Sadie and The Axel

Extreme Makeover:Fishy Edition

2012-02-19T21:41:00.001-08:00

There is the Finished Product!!

So we first bought our fish tank from the wonderful and amazing Samantha from my work and decided that putting red, white and black rocks inside would be bold and beautiful.. we were wrong..

Mind you, we hadnt yet decided on our decor for the living room but figured either way it would look good.. again, we were wrong.

So it came time to clean the tank out and Kenny decided it was time to redo the whole thing.. So off we went to Petsmart!

Now, I dont know about you but I LOVE Petsmart.. I seriously can just sit and look at birds, hamsters, fishies, guinea pigs etc forever! So CUTE! Anywho, We picked out all our new fish tank decor and also picked up a new sucker fish since our old one Mr. Suckalufagus suddenly "disappeared"... We needed a larger one because our fish Mr. No Name is a beastly fish who keeps murdering anything smaller than him :-(

We got everything all cleaned out, then Kenny applied the vinyl background of a shipwreck which looks awesome and I used my big strong muscles to help move the tank back to the living room! We plopped the fishies back in and Voila! YAY and I think the finished product looks fabulous!

Its crazy how something that seems so simple can make the BIGGEST difference! Its all about the details..

Well that was our big adventure for the day, I know we are silly but we love to stop and enjoy the small things more often then not. I hope everyone had a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

XOXO Sarah

Where the tank used to be and how it used to look :-/

Break for din din.. Kenny loves when we get to eat McDonalds because its very rare! lol

Jade and our old tank..

Jade says "where the fishies go?"

Kenny applying the vinyl

Gorgeous new view from my desk!!

Doing and doing :-)

2012-02-16T19:58:00.001-08:00

Well, I have been keeping myself extremely busy getting organized and putting together some GREAT jewelry! I'm so anxious to send out my first few pieces out! I'm dying for feedback and exposure!

I cant help but have some nerves about the whole thing.. you know that feeling where you tell yourself "Ok, I just put all this time and money into this passion that feels so right but what if nobody likes it and I just go nowhere!?" I'm learning its all about positive self talk though! The best I can do is create things that I feel are beautiful and hope others appreciate the beauty and versatility that I see in the pieces...

Tomorrow I plan to do a video showcases the jewelry in a little more detail :-) All I really need to do is get my business cards together than I'm finished with all my basics! Please pray/root/meditate whatever for me! Thanks so much for following me here, or instagram or youtube or pose! Whichever! lol

xoxoxo Sarah

Out and about & getting organized!

2012-02-13T21:02:00.001-08:00

YAY for getting stuff done today... Although getting organized on a budget isnt terribly easy but I think I did pretty well, Thank you Target-my mothership! Seriously, went to Wal-Mart and they usually have stuff here and there that I need (cat food, batteries etc) But Target totally comes through for stylish organizing tools! MAAAAD props!

So anyway, I finally took some stuff to GoodWill and found an ADORABLE sequin jacket along with an H&M leather riding jacket! xoxoxoxo! Seriously, always go to Goodwill FIRST thing for Blazer shopping before spending a lot of $$$$$ somewhere else..! Also tried on some super cute white Mossimo shorts at Target which I didnt end up buying today but I think I'll definitely have to go back and get because they fit perfect and were super inexpensive! I tried on some yellow skinnies there too but the way they fit made me feel like a whale so I quickly tossed them at the fitting room lady and put that sight out of my brain! Tonight I put together a new piece and am crossing my fingers that my stuff comes in tomorrow! All in all, I am pleased with my Monday! Hopefully I can get a video up tomorrow!

xoxoxoxo Sarah

Who I'm Following-YouTube Edition!

2012-02-09T11:17:00.000-08:00

Hi there! Ok, so there are a few fashionista's that I follow on a daily basis! These are just a few of the girls that I adore.. There are many many more that are just as fabulous, but I'm just sharing a few right now...

hrhcollection-Alex! SO I've probably been following Alex the longest! She is so fabulous to watch! SO informative and I adore the refreshing honestly! She also has the most beautiful Jewelry line which really helped to inspire me to pursue my passion for creating beautiful things :-)

Sophializshine- Sophia's outfits are so put-together and no muss no fuss! She looks effortlessly fabulous all the time and I love that she responds to pretty much every comment anyone leaves :-)

NikkiPhillippi-Nikki- I just started following Nikki a few weeks ago but have fell into YouTube love with her channel. She is so cute and I love watching her with all the other girls that I adore following! Very honest and hilarious! Makes me wish I lived in SoCal instead of NorCal sometimes! lol

hollyannaree- So holly doesn't do too many OOTD video's or anything like that but she gives the BEST reviews of products! Seriously! She does lots of demo's too which I love!

DulceCandy87- So I know very very little about makeup! I do pretty much the same simple look every day but watching her video's seriously inspire me! I totally want to go to Target and but every eye-shadow! She makes it so easy to pull off high fashion makeup! Plus she's talented and adorable! :-)

I adore Sccastaneda-Sonia! Her video's are so fun to watch and she's very honest about how she feels about products and clothes which I love!

CheckInTheMirror-Rachel-She is so adorable and fun! I love watching her with her husband it completely reminds me of me and Kenny! :-)

Also check out her Hubby's Page! Very talented, and most of you know that my passion is also food so I enjoy watching this as well!

Like I said there are so many fabulous ladies that I subscribe to, too many to blog! lol

Well today I'm just being a bit lazy.. Hubby is at work and I'm milking the floor-bed we made with the kitties. Laundry is waiting to be done as well.. Eventually I will drag myself into a hot shower and get my day started lol..
I'm really excited to see my friend Dilia Jelen on American Idol tonight and I'm hoping that Grey's Anatomy is a winner as I've been mildly disappointed with this season (As much as it pains me to admit that)... I'm hoping the new materials come in for my jewelry today or tomorrow so I can have more stuff up next week! I'm so excited about it!!

Hope everyone has a great day!! YAY for tomorrow being Friday! And Love day is right around the corner :-)
XOXO- Sarah

Gloomy weather...

2012-02-07T16:36:00.001-08:00

Well today has been terribly gloomy outside but thankfully I've stayed warm and cozy inside with my kitties.. I love the feeling of a warm home with an open window to let in the fresh rain smell :-) mmmm

I'm beyond excited about my new jewelry that is coming out soon! I should have one item on Etsy tomorrow and I have so many more beautiful things to come within the next couple weeks as well! A weekend filled with love!

What a great weekend!!

Friday we had a great dinner with friends at Claim Jumpers followed by a trip to the arcade where we rode go-carts and became addicted to an evil coin spilling game trying to accumulate tickets! Walked out with extra junk we didn't need but did have a blast!!

Saturday was met with the excitement of relaxing at home all morning before heading out to World Market to pick up snacks for Superbowl and a quick stop at Michaels for some chains.. We watched Drive and Moneyball, both great movies! Definitely recommend Moneyball if you haven't seen it yet!

Today I was greeted by a beautiful bot of pink Azalia's from my lover! The card he gave me touched my heart and only further reminded me how lucky I am to have found the love of my life!

Later this afternoon I created a delicious little snack setup with chips, crisp onion rings, dips, garlic dipping oil w/ balsamic, with french bread and of course Starburst jelly beans! Our friends arrived for the big game and we enjoyed Hot Links during the Madonna half time show.. The rest of the night has been filled with a floor bed and plenty of Dateline and Spumoni! I hope everyone had a great weekend and I will talk to you soon! xoxo Sarah

So much beauty!

Today is so beautiful outside so I decided to take a walk around my complex and snapped a few pictures of the beautiful things around me :-) I'm so glad that the weekend is here! I'm so excited for Superbowl Sunday, not only for the game but its also mine and Kenny's 3 year anniversary!! I'm not really sure what we have planned yet but either way I'm super happy! I hope everyone has a great weekend and here are the shots I took while on my walk...

xoxo Sarah
