We are not going to lie - we have had our eye on this stunning collection: Love, Yu for some time now. The Effloresce Collection is almost too beautiful, if that is even possible! Each and every dress in this collection is unique, with beautiful fabrics and a romantic, yet modern sensibility. And, with a moderate price point, we love the collection even more!

We have arranged to have the Effloresce Collection shipped to Toronto for one special weekend only - February 10-12, 2012. We will be carrying the collection in 2012, but it will take some time to get our samples in, so this is your only chance to try on and order gowns from the full collection if you are getting married this Summer! Ok, hands up if you think that Sash & Bustle brides have the most charming, beautifully styled weddings?! Hands waving wildly over here! Erin was dressed in a lovely dress by Saja Wedding, one of our most popular collections. Isn't she lovely? What a stunning wedding, with so many homespun details. Love the decor - pink peonies in mason jars are my favourite!

Back when we opened the store two years ago, our first customers will remember well that we really focused more on bridesmaid apparel, and as a complimentary service, housed a small collection of bridal alternatives - gowns for the bride that wanted something a little bit different, abhored the poufy bridal gown phenomenon seen in so many other boutiques, and at a great price point.

Two years later, it is amazing how our bridal collection has grown, and the numbers of Toronto brides looking for an "affordable luxe" gown has grown as well. After much thought, we are thrilled to announce that November 1st, 2011 marks the launch of a new focus for the store. In order to maximize our in-store space, we will be discontinuing our bridesmaid collections and solely offer our exclusive bridal gown collections, including the addition of four more bridal lines this Fall. Announcements coming soon for our new designers, but most collections will be in store by early December (in fact 30 more gowns will be arriving by then)! We will also be expanding our accessories offerings, including more veils, fascinators, sashes and clutches. We are so excited about the new focus, and we know that you will love our new collections.

For those interested in our bridesmaid collections, you still have 4 weeks to order any of our beautiful, modern bridesmaid dresses. We are actively booking bridesmaid appointments and taking orders on those collections until October 31st.

And, do you know what else this news means? A killer sample sale coming up soon with stylish dresses for a steal - just in time for holiday and engagement parties this Fall/Winter! Watch the blog for details!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these fabulous shots of Christine P. and her bridesmaids! Christine had her bridesmaids dressed in Lynn Lugo gowns from Sash & Bustle, and we can't get over how pretty they all look. And love the decor for the wedding too!

I love having bridesmaids dressed in charcoal grey - it is such a good shade for many different skin tones and body types. Grey is always chic & sophisticated!

We just had two beautiful arrivals in the store yesterday! Jim Hjelm Blush styles #1150 at top, a lovely silky taffeta halter gown with a stunning open back. And #1151 below, a Mikado modified a-line gown. Both feature a feminine jeweled flower at the waist.

We have to admit - we are so in love with this dress by Stephanie James Couture - the Doris gown was worn beautifully by Valerie, who was one of our very first appointments during our 2010 trunk show with Stephanie. Valerie chose to customize her dress by adding a soft gray underlay beneath the lace waist panel - a perfect compliment to her handsome groom's suit. Also a custom lace bolero topped off the the ensemble.

Valerie, you look lovely! Congrats on your wedding and thank you for letting us be a part of your day!

We were thrilled to see two wonderful features in the latest issue of Weddingbells magazine on newstands now. First - one of our lovely brides - Jennifer (who is also an art director at the magazine) chose the "Sarah" gown by designer Coren Moore for her destination wedding in Sonoma Valley, California. I adore how Jennifer accessorized her gown and truly made it her own - what a fabulous necklace!

We were also fortunate to have the Hasell Street gown by Carol Hannah featured in one of the editorial spreads as well (thank you Nicole!). This gown is one of my absolute favourites in the store - the sweet floral embroidery make this dress a showstopper for a garden or farm wedding.

This amazing one of a kind Stephanie James Couture gown is super fun and pretty! Sadly, it was never picked up from our store, and we would love for a beautiful bride to dance the night away in it rather than it sitting in our sample room.

Brand new & never worn gown was custom measured but is close to a street size 12. A little bit of extra length was added so it is perfect for a taller girl or can be hemmed shorter, or is the perfect tea-length with heels as is.

Tiny dotted tulle overlay on silk taffeta, with a whimsical teal petticoat underneath the dress.

Bust: 36" Waist: 31" Hip: 42" (but circle skirt is forgiving and generous so works well for plus size brides as well)

Brand new, never worn, pristine condition. Value: $2200.00 Canadian SALE: $1500.00 PLUS $250 alterations credit included in the price to the buyer.

This super sweet gown by Robert Bullock Bride was one of our favourites from Bridal Market in April. The Swiss-dot net and taffeta A-Line gown is adorable! The tiny little dots give the gown a fun flair, and beautiful beaded sash adds a bit of glamour. The bodice also features a lovely criss-cross drape effect to flatter. In store now!

We are so excited to announce a brand new collection that will be coming into the store this September! Theia Couture is a hot label known for dressing celebrity A-listers in Hollywood, but has recently introduced the Theia White Collection . The collection of stunning gowns are made from Europe's finest silks and brocades, and are shockingly affordable - most gowns range from $750-$2000.00! We are so excited to see the first of our new collections and gowns arrive after Spring market back in April.
